Sermon hampered the team... making no money as the 4th RB?   On a team that was top seed and scored over 30 points every playoff game?     That's hampering the team?

Really?  After all the crap football you have watched from the Eagles..you feel the 2022 team...and particularly the offense...was hampered?

How about having that slightly better ST player that could have stopped that P return properly?

Always more trades.... probably one involving pick 10

Not seeming that probable to me to get a great deal to trade. Be forcing most likely because he wants to overly too much. Take the best CB available.

CJ Stroud supposed number one pick

They figure the 30th pick and a fourth rounder could land Ramsey

Yes but rostered several young DBs that basically amounted to squat. Talking the franchise here.

They shouldn't have had to amount to anything last year.  Basically like Mailata didn't amount to anything for his first 2 years.

How many young cheap DBs we have ready to play here for awhile that developed? Part of the job here. Scott and WAllace played. Stunk. Four or so other guys amounted to squat.

What did Mailata do for his first 2 years.?

You’ve repeatedly stated how RBs are a Dime a dozen. So why did they keep a crap RB with the last roster spot. More about roster spot and controlling the rights to that player….than the paycheck at that point. Not just a salary cap…also a roster limit.

How did we know he is a crap RB..  again what about Mailata his first 2 years?

He didn't dress did he?   Pascal and the guys in coverage are supposed to be those guys.   Again ...Mailata for 2 years.

Does it ever seem like a trade?   Take the best lineman.  Build from the lines.

I believe(could be wrong) that after a certain amount of time on the roster, where they initially have to go,your FA pick up can be moved to the PS??? IDK that Sermon was even on the PS? There is a reason for this? Maybe undercover prepping for when this day arrived? I personally do not know.I watched him at OSU,no clue how he performs as a pro. I also DK if we keep him or not

I think Richarson fits what Reich likes,so I think he goes first and also Why Carolina moved when his draft stock took off after the impressive combine showing

Please explain why you're so enamored with the big names.

The cost a lot and there's bound to be a really good player to be had in the draft. It's up to the scouts to find them

Ham likes CBs and RBs.   If we could stack our teams with those positions it would be ideal.   Those guys finish the plays and get the stats.

I'm opposite,  I like to win at the point of attack.  I'll take the stud DL all day.  " no fly zone in Denver" ..." legion of boom" in Seattle...doesn't happen without those front 7s.

Jimmy Johnson had those stud secondaries... the better overall defense was late 80s/ early 90s with Reggie, Jerome etc.

Gotta win the fight up front before anything else happens.   Over the course of a game and a season, winning at the line sustains better than in either backfield.

As an old OT (emphasis on old) I've always thought an good line makes up for a lot of weaknesses in the backfield on either side of the ball

They were winning without CMC... in fact, that's when they started winning.  So unless it was all DJ Moore... I don't see why adding the best QB and all the other picks, plus having some cap space for moves ...why all that wouldn't improve them even more?

I like the trade for both teams.  Obviously Chicago can only improve from being the worst team, but I would bet Carolina improves too.

Yeah new coach, new staff, stop the patch and build from scratch(see I can rhyme also)

I remember classic old TB superbowl (with Gruden) That defense was just devastating. Akin to the '85 Bears, just BRUTAL

I guess Ham isn'y gonna get this big name

Los Angeles Rams cornerback Jalen Ramsey has been traded to the Dolphins for a 2023 third-round pick and tight end Hunter Long, per ESPN.

You bet a great line can make mediocre RB's look magnificent. They made me better than I was as a TE also. Why Joe and I agree there is no need to burn your wallet for a RB if you have a great line. I still believe Edge is our first pick(wherever that pick ends up). Maybe a DT. I see both at some point,a CB somewhere, then a nice RB or WR/TE. I know we only have 4 picks(as of now) for impact players. We need to hit them all. Still know ZIP about Book. Wondering who would play here behind Hurts. Grab another QB to compete with Book. I'm also not against getting a ROT in here that could start at RG right away and work into taking the reins from Lane when it's time. I really love Kancey for us. he can play DT or edge.it's a twofer. Aside Davis that would be a nice disruptive D line

Then Mailata played. Didn’t sit the bench behind Scott andWallace level players.

Mailata didn’t play football before. Very poor example to compare to players who’ve played their whole lives.
