CGJ...saw projection of 5 years $66 mil.   A little over 13 mil per.   I'm fine with that.   I'm ok with $75 mil too... since im willing to let all the other guys walk and build with the youngest and best one of the group... with the long term deal and cap going up... it's not an issue for slightly more.

It's not going to change the free agents we bring in or the fact that we have to draft well ....if CGJ makes slightly more.  We all know the backload of year 5 will see the highest salary anyway.

How many have we taken in the first round?

Zero,I suspect that continues

Even on Day 3, Sermon can fill a niche and provide value for a team. With his density and vision, he can be a good situational back with some change-of-pace upside. And in truth, he does have the starting upside to go earlier, perhaps late on Day 2. Teams like the Patriots, Ravens, and Saints could be good fits.                                         So you KNOW he sucks, because you are at camp practice? I personally can't say at this point. We need RB's- ANY RB's worth  a damn since we are losing maybe 2. I'm sure he know the system by now. IDC if he stays or go,but if he stays it's because they want to keep him. In an "off year, where we're losing alot of players(and coaches) and we probably aren't SB bound, who really cares?. If he leaves, there is a reason,if he stays, there is a reason. They PAY these people to know better than us. if you can do better, put your app in. I will trust whatever decision they make(because I have no choice anyhow)

Exactly a fourth RB on the roster that wasn’t even suiting up….wasn’t even close to necessary. PS? Fine

Insurance for your SB run? Luckily none got hurt. I'm sure he could use his skills to gain 2 yards if we asked him to. No clue what we do with him now. With only 4 picks and possibly 2/3 RB's leaving maybe he can contribute this year.Maybe not, that's the FO's decision

KC had 2 RBs... CEH and the other guy who seems better.   Where were they each drafted?   Their MVP QB stepped up to take a team...which many would say didn't have the same supporting cast as the last 2 guys he beat...

So now our guy is about to get paid.. time to step up a little while the roster isn't going to be as good as last year.

If the guy is truly a $50 mil guy...he should be able to do it.    More important than the 4th RB.

Free agency is here... news should be coming up, Sermon shouldn't be conversation at this point.  Neither should any of the 7th or worse string DBs.

"Didn't go through the fire just to smell the smoke.   The revenge tour is coming"

This is what's being talked up about our QB.  He on a mission baby.   Sermon and whoever else is along for the ride.  Let's go...just no more fumbles for free TDs and we should be ok.

Hurts is our best RB LOL

TBT we are going to need possibly 2 more RB's. Suspect we find a UDFA and one in FA,maybe even 2 cheap ones. Some have us taking Gibbs at 30. I mean I wouldn't be mad with that, but see no reason to spend that pick. That is just me. IDk I still like this brooks kid-unheralded. Was not at the combine,so no clue what his "stats" are. But just watching him play he seems like a nice fit. Those unheralded UDFA guys have alot of drive to "prove them wrong" I think Brooks fits that (see Scott who kept working until he made the team). I mean if we had 10/11 picks this time,by all means snag one,but we can only work with what we have

https://nfldraftdiamonds.com/2023/01/christopher-brooks/ IDK I can't find anything wrong here. Not a 3 downer, but fine in an RBBC. MVP of the Hula bowl, but is on nobodys radar(except mine)

Kinda weird no BYU vids. Here he was at Cal before he transferred. he was even better in 2022 with BYU

Anyway don't mean to carry on(or maybe I DO🤣),but whomever drafts/gets this kid will get a nice RB CHEAP(Wuss already met with him-GRRRRR) So,me and the Wuss staff are the only one's paying attention

Here's a kid with alot of intangible traits. he ran a 4.5. 40. which isn't bad for his size. he really needs PRO coaching and strength training and how to drive into tackles(aka technique training). He seems to fall down easily almost like he is lazy. if he wants a paycheck of any type in the NFL that has to go. However, all these weak points are what coaches are trained to do. I would have NP getting him as a UDFA project and see where he goes after a year of intense training. Could be a DITR . Costs me nothing to bring him in as as UDFA and he would have some very good teachers. In time can slide in the slot spot as a rotational piece almost like a TE would. All the things I DONT like are coachable, but I can see his potential under the right program. if he whiffs,no loss cutting him,but I'd give him a year. I would be more than happy to add 10 pounds of muscle to his frame(or more) PS material but could see him work his way onto the roster in 1-2 years. Brooks I would use a 7 pick on(he may go higher).probably not on this kid-UDFA only

Anyway,if someone can point out something bad with Brooks I would like to hear it. Mostly a 1 cut runner, but he has patience and a LITTLE bit of a twitch,so I suppose you could get me on that. But also recall we're aren't spending alot to get him./ Been high on him quite awhile now

Last offseason you were questioning whether Hurts was a starting level QB. Now you you question whether the league’s runner up for MVP, that we couldn’t win a game without, is worth 50 mil.

I thought their best RB was a 7th round rookie?

Defense saved alot of games for us this year, doubt it will be as good next season

They never were gonna pay Hargrave that much.

Does Nakobe Dean serve the same function as Edwards?

Also saw Eagles told Bradberry and CGJ if they had an offer from a different team the Eagles would try to match it.
