Yeah...he is good.  Look at the play.  He leads the league in yards after being touched...he is a stud in the receiving game.  NFL proven. 

Besides... the opportunity to draft a top ten lineman you gotta take it over a nice player... that's an impact position.

With no O line Noone will be. Why pay a guy to lose when I can get a rook while I re-build the line? They signed some RB2/3 from Seattle. Picked up an OG in FA,tried for 2 top OT's,still looking. Why would they do all this if they were drafting an OT?

Once again noone would be behind a crap O line,why would i PAY for a RB to flounder? I can get a rook,let him get his feet wet while I build up the line for him and Fields. They are already working on the O line as I already stated. Why is this hard to understand?

Don't have to be OT...you have DL...and other positions better than RB to draft early.   Don't have to draft early to get Montgomery level.

Once again...they had him...they see him.   They don't think he is that good. Why  hard to understand?   I get yout theory about their OL...but they see the whole practice, every game etc.   If they thought it was the OL and not him... they would give him $6 mil.   They have the most cap space in the league... paying the guys they did so far is a drop in the bucket for them.   They just didn't want Montgomery...not hard to see. I don't blame them either.

I don't disagree with Richardson... couldn't tell you one way or the other...just saying these RBs early making the money right away....not leading to team success.   The game has changed from a generation ago where the RB had value.
