think we are only talking about one game of Pryor at RT. It is almost a certainty that Lane or Driscoll will be available after the bye,

Again I don’t think Lane should be played until he is 100% and that won’t be in 2 weeks risking him makes no sense.

Then I look at who are the best OL we have after the bye???? Herbig/JP/ hopefully Semaulo.

SO Dak,not Zeke is the whole Dullaz team.I didn't think they would lose all THAT much with Dalton, but right now they look worse than us(if that';s possible)

My default homers Carolina and the Saints is a GREAT GAME!!!

Watching the Cowpies lose like this brings joy to my heart  😁

I think someone wins this lame division with 7 wins lol(very sad)

I'm not even sure it takes 7... I mean let's be honest here, we have 2 wins but 2 of those was against a bad Giants team. WFT have 2 wins but both of those were against bad teams in the division. This is a flat out bad division.

IDK say we beat da boyz next.Thats 3 wins, then the bye,we get people back we didnt have so, I see no reason we can't get 4 wins after the bye and lets remember we held our own against some decent teams here.We play da boyz twice yet,we play the gnats again and a revenge game vs the no namers. So for me 2 wins vs Dullaz,1 vs the gnats,1 vs the no names gives us 6 wins and I think we pull one out of the "impossible" remaining opponents.I think our best shot at that is a W at home vs Seattle. After the first 2 games,we seem to be settling into SOMETHING. Wentz seems better with his WR's,we will get Sanders back who can do alot of damage,so I will count on a 7 win season and if we can win out vs division rivals,we have the tiebreaker locked in

One of our wins came against a SF team that yes was injured like us but were also coming off a pretty impressive win the game before.

A SF team that just destroyed NE and are now 4-3... Also had two very competitive games against two legit contenders in the Steelers and Ravens and was what 1-2 plays away from winning those.

We are not great but not sure we are as bad as some want to make us out to be either.

Get healthy mainly on the OL protect Wentz think we will start seeing wins come against some better teams.

How bad was Dalton hurt? Could be we face them with no QB lol

I think that's overrating both the players due to return and the close games against better teams. Now that's just my opinion but that's how I see it. Both Pittsburgh and Baltimore eased up after getting multiple score leads. They eased up and fair play we kept fighting and got back in to it. But look at our struggles against 3 very bad teams.

They had a list of injuries longer than ours and to more key players.

Concussions are tricky

I’m a bit worried Peters will try and bully his way back to LT. Maybe we could move Mailata to RT. Not sure.

The Inside the Birds podcast had some interesting thoughts on the receivers.

On Fulgham, they said he is like a younger version of Alshon, and that scouts around the league are really impressed by him.

On Hightower, they said he has questionable hands and still needs to get stronger, but he's the designated "shot" guy right now until Reagor gets back, and his ability to win at the LOS and track deep balls is really impressive. There's a lot of upside there.

On Ward, they said a scout noted that he wins on every curl route, and other teams know it is coming but can't stop it.

I would note with JJAW that he got wide open a few times and Wentz missed him on limited snaps, so to me there is some hope there.

They also said the Richard Rodgers is doing well against zone defenses, and that he has been a huge surprise this year.

It's happening!

But we were dealing with just as many no WRs no OL no secondary. Can’t use the injury excuse for another team and refuse to accept it for us

I have heard it from a few that said Hightower is a good route runner some even saying he one of the best on the team if that’s remotely true think the rest will come for him. I always thought he was thrust into a prominent role to soon but he has taken it in stride

IDk what you can expect playing 3rd stringers and PS guys.I'm rather impressed we didn't fold up the tent

IDK what are "key players" I think LOT, WR and last week your $RB and starting RT are some of those? This is why I want our O line solidified and stop moving players around.Even I could throw the ball if I had 6 seconds a play to do it.Our LB's are still awful and our secondary is mediocre, that didn't change lol. So,like it or not we are ,still contenders to take this lame division, and when playoffs start every team is 0-0.We love the underdog role and this year that underdog is in the doghouse ,but that doesn't mean he won't bite you if you provoke him

I'm sure they will do what they can to field him,or possibly they sign a has been on a 2 week journeyman contract? IDK ZIP about their 3rd stringer

I hope we don't.JP's last year and he already forced us to pay him more after he signed a contract to play RG.The money is already spent.Don't play him because of that.Play your future not your past now that we know Mailata has a distinct shot at being a starter.Djax-wasted money,at this point Alshon is wasted money.JP wasted money and we should have held him at RG because thats what we signed him to do,but we caved and players should not control the personnel. If Ped allows that,he needs to go because his JOB is to field the best team he can regardless of what money Howie spent on who.JMO

May be true. You could make the same claim about Reagor(and I said he seemed to be a 1 trick pony as well).Supposedly, thats' why we have  scouts/coaches,to scout players with potential that maybe could learn some things. Some colleges are limited as to the kind of players enrolled.I'm hoping both Reagor and Hightower can learn to run better route trees. Many times that takes 1-2 years, which I suppose is the reason we see "break-outs" in year 3,when they finally put it all together. And let's remember Hightower was a LATER pick. Some colleges prepare their youth better for the NFL than others. For me the jury is out on both players

Gotta be honest... Hightower looks like his best attribute is route running and getting open.  The video from the Steelers game showed that.... he just needs to track and catch the ball. Let's see if the one big play turns it around for him.

This is a tweet that should be paid attention to.

Fulgham shows ability to win quickly through fantastic route running, plus his size makes him almost impossible to cover out of the slot. This is basically Zach Ertz with the ability to generate YAC and beat guys deep.

With how well Hightower has done from the Z, and the fact that Reagor can play the X, this is the future of the offense.

We are going to see it in full force after the bye. The oline should be in really good shape by then. Reagor, Sanders and Goedert will be back. I am almost certain that this will be a top 5 offense the rest of the season. And, more importantly, it will be one where almost every significant part is under 30 and here for a long time.

Except Wentz gets hit every play... until the OL steps up, the weapons won't matter as much.... to get top 5.  That is a stretch with all the talent in the league.

Pro Football Focus has Mailata graded as the Eagles’ worst offensive player from this game. He allowed five total pressures and struggled as a run blocker. Opeta ranked second worst and Pryorwas fourth worst.

this was vs the Giants

I thought it was obvious the OL stunk Thursday
