Sanders 4 years $25 mil... makes him 13th highest paid RB at the moment.. depends on who gets cut in front of him though. 

Adds the comp pick right in there again for the Eagles.   Seamulo and CGJ left to either sign or get that 5th round comp pick. 

Cox apparently turned down more money from the Jets..could have possibly been that 5th or maybe 4th round comp pick.

 

$30 million to have Kelce, Graham and Cox back for one year.  This is where a debate can start about either being too sentimental or not building totally for the future.

I was surprised by the Cox signing. But really he didn't run out of gas. He played well this year. Still think a young stud needs to be drafted. I hope we can get Cox another ring,but really it's going to be a tough row to hoe. Keeping the secondary somewhat intact goes a long way. We could be in the mix at the end of the year. NFCE looks alot better now

Eagles spending less cap on RB than expected... Penny is eligible to make up to the $1.35 mil, and only have the league minimum count vs the cap.   Eagles could still draft a middle round RB and have only $2 mil count vs the cap....  with the ENTIRE RB room. 

Dallas has $27 million currently counting against the cap for the RB position.  

I'm a fan of Pollard... but not $25 mil more than our entire RB room...especially if that includes a rookie drafted to be our lead RB.

Like I have said... Dallas can pick players but absolutely BRUTAL when it comes to managing their cap.  Wait too long to sign guys and then overpay them....and do it in a manner that seems to count as much as possible vs the salary cap.

Be interesting to see if Carolina lets Foreman walk. Him and Sanders would be great. If they let Foreman go I would look. I also like Damien Harris if we're going to add another FA. Get one and grab a UDFA RB for the PS(or a 7th). We should sign Zeke for $12.88 per game,just so he could beat on Dullaz. I would change his name to Zee-karma. After the game he could steal Jerruas car to give to Slay 🤣

Idk... the longer it goes it seems better for the Eagles. 

If Slay was released..the cap space couldn't be used until June.  The fact he is staying and reworking his deal opens up space now.  Which means CGJ has better chance to stay. Also, the longer it goes should mean the price comes down.

Slay has been a key piece the whole time... due to all the different scenarios surrounding his contract and the different effects each scenario has.

If they cut him post June like reports said earlier.... that meant Hurts probably wasn't going to sign until then... none of that cap space could b used until June....and less of a chance to resign CGJ. 

Now... who knows?

That's great... at some point we might get one of these vet RBs over the summer.   Lots of more impactful moves to be made by then.   Punter for example might be addressed?  Who knows?

Oh but that " dead money" we need to be more like Dallas.
