They why didn't they say this initially? All of a sudden it's he was given permission to leave. That was not how it came out at first. It's BS cover. if he never left,why did he need to "turn himself in"?

The details are today's great media always digging for juicy story.    Come on now... you know how the media works. 

There is no cop or anyone that is being " official " that is going to give any detail until the investigation is done.   Regardless of speculation.   The kid just said " when it's over I have no doubt I will be cleared "

He turned himself in...  after the police did the report and filed charges.    Most of the time charges are not filed on the spot.  Come on now.  

I get it..you are looking for a narrative and want to believe everything negative about the kid.   Idk for me I just don't trust the media...everything has to be made bigger than it is.  

Kid is dumb,he races and drives fast.   Unfortunately the other driver engaged...she was drunk and lost control.   He is to blame some... it seems he pay his part...but the bigger issue I would have as a team looking o draft him is if he stops speeding. It seems like it's been more than once.

GB.... you've lived in America for how long now.    " investigation"  means everyone shuts up until the end right.  Legal reasons for that.  Never " all of a sudden "  it was just that the narrative was on the other stuff.  He couldn't say anything.

Civil suits will happen if things are more serious than in the final report.

Yes..because no charges were filed that night.  They weren't going to file without reviewing a report.   Why is it hard to understand?  

Report done... then they decide to review the report and file charges.  The proper charges.  He then goes to turn himself in.  Happens all the time.

he left the scene(charges or not) that is ILLEGAL. If you even witness an accident you are required by law to stay until you are released. You can even be a bystander,the LAW says you STAY. First report was he left the scene(has nothing to do with "talking" The report said HE LEFT THE SCENE,it didn't say he was released from the scene after a statement. it was a crime just to leave the scene

Remember... releasing Slay for the June 1 designation... means his full cap hit would be on the books until then.   Which means less of a chance to sign CGJ...NOW.

Not releasing Slay,but reworking his contract...that allows more cap space to sign CGJ..... NOW.

I think it's obvious.... both Slay and CGJ are seeing the market isn't there ... Slay needs to be done first.    CGJ cab linger in false hope for a little... but probably decides to come back after realizing it is what it is.   Only thing, he may look to go shorter term instead of 5 years,hoping the market jumps back up?
