The way we have attack FA Bijan Robinson makes a ton go sense…. Rookie deal plus border line generation talent.

Hard to know for me. Maybe Penny was gotten to be a BU for that rook. Our RB room is CHEAP,so adding an expensive RB in the draft could make sense, yet I don't see Howie doing this with the plethora of FA RB out there. Even run of the mill RB's look great behind our O line,so I would like to see that to continue the domination. After edge and DT, I have Bergeron who can play OG just fine until he is ready to take over for Lane. I may need to change my round 3 now. I had a CB there(Riley Moss). Probably wouldn't hurt to get him in here though despits the recent moves. He can learn from some of the best in the biz. The only drawback is round 1's are not "cheap. You can get a vet for nearly the same money,so he would need to bL0w me away

Great time to invest in the DL right now via the draft.

Edge, DT, ROT/G are my first 3 pick 94 is now up for discussion. I have my CB there or maybe we go Hams route and take a RB there. That would set Ham up for his RB pick-Spears

I suppose we could take Kraft at 62 and search out a ROT/G at 94

Yeah...gotta be careful...might run into an offseason where we can't sign anyone like this one.

We signed Slay to three years at 50 mil. Taken cap hits of 20 mil TOTAL so far the last three years.

I was thinking... with Howie on a roll, would be great if he took a shot a Chip.  I mean,  he went with the running QB and we had an offense work how Chip was supposed to do it..  how about now we sign Mariota?

Like to Chip...." this is a dude you wanted to trade Fletcher Cox and a bunch more for, but now I could get him cheap as a backup... lol.

Anyway,  I just think it would be appropriate for Howie.

And dirt cheap for 4 years...as the RB position should be.

We had the same thing at C for a long time. Now Kelce getting over 14 mil.

Impact position... smart business...has proven to be successful

Yeah...basically designed to either cut or renegotiate this offseason.  Since they like his play, they redid the deal and cap hits will be lower again.

Now he gets 3 years at 42 mil... 14 mil per. Apparently lowered the cap hit this year from 26 mil to about 13 or 14 mil.

I think they like the UCLA kid..I posted a vid and have been watching other things about him. I can see what they like him. I can see his upside much like I saw Hookers. I would be happy taking him with a 7th. I also believe he can work into the #2 fairly quickly from what I have seen. he is Hurts 2.0. I think he easily beat out Book (which is not hard granted). Kid looks really good, kind of shocking to see him in the round 7 territory

Jurgens waiting patently for his turn

Would be funny if Mariota would cost the same as out RBs combined...and we end up a top rushing team using Chip's concepts.  Great if Mariota came in and got us a win too.

I guess we shall see.. I would think they get a vet QB though...a mobile one.  That's why I was thinking Mariota.. probably cost about 5 mil. Maybe they add incentives to make it go up to like 8 mil?

Idk, I think probably makes more sense as something our front office would do.  More so than draft.

I can see getting both. The UCLA kid plays like Hurts,if he had to come in same offense,no need to gear it to someone else(clone). However we all know the NFL speed makes good QB's look silly. Grabbing him with a 7th and getting a cheap vet works for me. DTR vs Book for who hits the PS. I think Book loses

Think about it...would be funny.  AJ was a teammate of Mariota in Tenn... I think the new QB coach was a teammate in Oregon too.   Idk kinda would be ironic.   F. U. from Howie to Chip.

Yeah... QB 🏭

As far as RB, Sermon put up some damn nice numbers. Improved every year at Okla(Hurts was the QB) Did evn better his transfer year to OSU. I don;t know why we didn't use him,he seems to have most things coaches look for. Still I llke my 2 UDFA's. Check them out if you have time. Chris Brooks and Duece Vaughn(like a Sproles 2.0 and could be used in lots of crazy ways)

Ok....one last time.    He was the 4th RB.  We were fortunate to have all 3 RBs active.  So that's why he didn't play.   The team was 14-3... top seed with a bye..  playing the 3 RBs.

There was no reason to play Sermon in 2022.

The ideal situation for a team... is to not to have to use everyone.   And for those players that don't have to be used..  it's ideal that they cost minimal of either cap space or trade/ draft capital.

Sermon fits that exact description.

Bears sign Forman, so looks like they will use Sanders as a 3 down RB. Personally I don;t think it;s going to work

Scott didn't do alot. You need to get those BU some rep time in real games. 1 snap all year doesn't really cut it

Yeah...it does really for the 4th string who doesn't really need to dress.

As for Sanders...let's wait and see.. still a lot if offseason left before handing him 3 down RB job.
