Not sure how we don’t go D heavy in the off-season for the most part think the O is in place.

QB-Wentz is the guy not going anywhere

RB-Sanders healthy stud, Scott is a fine backup really just need that power RB late round draft pick(still like to see Holyfield given a chance) also like to see Huntley given an extended look watching the few snaps vs the giants he just looked explosive like get that man an inch and he is off to the races.

WR- think we are fairly set Fulgham is coming into his own, Hightower is getting there think year 2 he could really take off. Reagor when he comes back gives us that speed we need. Ward is a good 4th. JJaw though not living up to his 2nd round grade I have loved his effort last few weeks blocking making the catches that do come his way etc. and still have Watkins.

TE- Geodart will likely be the starter think Ertz will be traded in the off-season. Will need a backup

OL- see above but think we are good here as well.

So add a blocking TE and a bigger RB who can pass protect...  and look at how that offense can function a ton better.

One thing I will say... blessing in disguise  idea....   this team was going to flip to youth next year on offense... we are getting a head start on it this year.  And the best part, the kids will now play in meaningful games as they develop.      To me, meaningful NFL football is the best when trying to develop players.  When the other team is scheming and playing their best against you, and you are doing the same... it's the best way to grow up.

The remaining schedule....   9 games... 4 vs division.

The other 5.... Seattle, Green Bay, New Orleans,  Arizona and Cleveland.

Good for developing the young players. Either a good NFL team or a division rival.  Kids will be growing up.  Now stay healthy and practice with #11 all offseason and let's see what happens.

And focus on defense next offseason.

There are some decent defensive guys in the next draft. No matter where we pick, anything should be an improvement. My first pick is not a draft pick at all,but someone who can keep guys on the field.Injuries happen, but we are always near the top of the league annually and that needs to end or it won't matter who we get in the draft or in FA

But we were dealing with just as many no WRs no OL no secondary. Can’t use the injury excuse for another team and refuse to accept it for us

I'm not trying to but I'm pointing out their injuries were more substantial than ours. I'm sorry but at this point I'm not going to accept the injuries to Alshon and Desean are an issue. It isn't an issue it's what they've been for years now so this team should be ready to deal with that.

So,like it or not we are ,still contenders to take this lame division, and when playoffs start every team is 0-0

Oh there's no doubt we are contenders to win this division. We are favourites to win this division because we suck a little less than the other 3 teams.

Apparently they were more ready to deal with their injuries than the 49ers were, so there's that.

They should be more ready to deal with injuries than any other team in the league... They've dealt with them for 3-4 years now.

And won a Super Bowl in that span and made the playoffs every year.

This isn't soccer. Guys get hurt. It's part of the game.

And Jimmy G missing time an massive stable of RBs isn’t something new from SF. So they also should be ready to deal with it.

People act like us not having Lane Johnson, Brooks, Semalo, Dillard,Jp(G) basically 4/5 of our starting OL.... Then the backups Driscoll, Pryor missed time.

Losing Reagor to a thumb, Miles Sanders missing time. Geodart getting hurt, Ertz getting hurt.

But yea other teams injuries are more important then ours we just have to win

More or less think just getting the OL healthy team will play better. Geodart as the main TE could add blocking as well underrated blocker. Then it’s just the young weapons keep developing and building up the chemistry with Wentz.

Wentz is by far the most sacked QB in the nfl and the most hit... Some of it is Wentz he olds the ball to long trying to do to much lot of it is an OL not holding up because of injures.

But when they had their success last year they had Jimmy G and they had a healthy stable of RBs. Losing Jimmy G is somewhat like us losing Wentz and going with Sudfeld or Hurts.

The weird thing is this season is really good for us. We don't have a great record, but still win the division after having played the best teams.

Bringing the four players off IR is interesting. You’d have to think there is a good chance they believe these players can suit up for the cowboys game. Peters, Edwards, Reagor and Ford. We have a bye after this game so....so bringing them off IR definitely leads you to believe they expect they have a good shot at suiting up.

And jimmy did next to nothing for SF last year he didn’t have to throw kinda like our QB not having an OL to protect him so he can throw and not having some of his best targets to throw to.

Because our QB and the 3rd stringers he is playing with.... are better than the other teams.

Reagor for sure seems likely rest are in the 21 day window image if they get full practices in no set backs they will be active for Dallas

The prevailing thought seems to be that Edwards and Ford are closer than Reagor and Peters, but we will see. I would rather see them be cautious with Reagor's injury as that could be serious if not managed properly.

Idk I’ve heard about Reagor for Sallas like 3 weeks now I haven’t heard anything on the rest

Add in some brutal blocking from the skill positions too.   So my point about adding the blocking TE.  The 2 TE set should be one where you can run the ball.  People forget up until 2018, Ertz didn't dominate the snap count.  Majority, but not dominant.   They had 2 TE sets with both Celek and the dude Chicago overpaid. Both could block.   I'd like to see that formation with Goedert plus a other TE that can block.  You can overpower in the run game, use the other guy to pass protect etc.  Stuff we can't really do now.

I mean it's basically the same... they both are the starting QBs.

Wasting like 15 days of a 21 day window considering a bye after dallas ...if they can’t go

Yep,but like I said, when the playoffs start everyone is 0-0

I mean goal likely for Dallas but they ha e 21 days no need to rush them if they can’t go just means they close and they are able to practice

I  would actually not try to use Reagor much.Wentz seems to be getting more comfy with the guys we have out there. We just need our O line to give him more time than he's been getting.Sanders should also help in that regard.I don't think anyone was worried about Scott as a RB(but we killed them using him a a receiver),so if Sanders is back we have a little more authority at RB

Jimmy G may not be as good as Wentz but I think he's underrated and actually I don't think there's been a lot in it the last couple of years.
