This reads like a complete smoke screen. Detroit was having Carter in for a top 30 visit.

It’s perfect for Campbell also. Not like he has to deny anything ever. He just stated he found out "interesting” info about Carter.

If Detroit found out damning info about Carter they’d actually want a team ahead of them to take him so they’d get a higher player on their board. When does anybody hardly ever try and help out the rest of the league by going to the presses about some hidden details about a draft prospect?

Let’s say Rosie found out some fairly clear evidence of why Levis wouldn’t work as an NFL QB. Do you think he would broadcast that info? Or would he more encourage others to take him off the board before ten? Maybe even trade to ten for him?

Lions are at 6. Word is the Seachickens, at 5, are very likely spot for Carter to be picked. You can decide on your own what Campbell is up to.

He didn't have his contract set up to retire...he kinda retired a few years earlier than planned right.    The Eagles chose to spread out his bonus...it's not salary that Brooks is getting paid.

Lane... is under contract until 2026.  He took the salary this year and got it guaranteed and made a bonus.  Also got next year guaranteed.   The last year 2026 comes with a big salary.. non guaranteed...  no dead money when he retires or if they release him.  

It's not hard to understand really.  Each contract is specific in itself... to act like a know it all and compare another situation that's totally different but because 2 guys both play OL...it's just lazy on top of being wrong.

I just assumed we all knew that salary is different than bonus..  and that you all understood salary comes off the books.
