IDK Chachere and Wallace don't do anything for me. Draft my 2,keep the better of these 2. We have a slew of shaky CB's also.We need to lose a few of those that are taking up roster space

Chachere is a ST guy. Evans brings that element also.

Battle is at 53 there.

So we knew Rosie was going to force a trade back with one of the first round picks last year. Who thinks we make the pick at 10? I don’t believe it. Rosie is definitely going to trade back. It’s a given. Let’s see how much he can maximize the return.

I don't think we pick at 10.   I think trade up or down.  I also don't think we pick at 30 either....same trade up or down.

I think we target Van Ness. Maybe we can trade back  a little and still get him. Not too far back. I think we need Cox's heir

He is listed as a S on the roster so he must be able to play there

I think he is over rated personally

Battle is ranked top 100 most places I see. Those two are being ranked much higher. Has he climbed into the first round conversations?

My S pick is Banks. Probably would require him at 30 which would cut out Zay at WR. Both guys would be helpful but we can only have 1. We could ride with Quez another year I suppose. But the BU's aren't very good,so that room needs some upgrading. Quez would be  nice BU if we took Zay,but I understand the need to get a fresh S in. So Howie has lots of decisions to make

Wouldn’t surprise me if we pick at 10 we might actually move up I’d see that as more likely then going down just because it rare for a good team to have that valuable of a pick.

30 is where I see us more likely to trade down

I’m really just not thrilled about this draft class. Feels like a weak class to me. I’m not stoked about the top of the draft or the depth.

The question I keep asking myself is who does Desai need to run his scheme? Davis was a key cog needed for Gannon to run his. So trading up for him made plenty of sense.

Nice edge draft. That's good because we need a young one in. Still not convinced Howie would draft a S at 30 or even in round 1 or 2 at all,why I have mine at 94. I know we had Van Ness in for a visit and while that may mean little,it's something. They also have had in OT's and some DT's. not much anywhere else. It's early yet,but tells me that's where they go

I keep hearing the opposite.   How good the OL, DL and CBs are.

I agree those are the positions.   But because of looking at the roster and knowing their draft history.   The visits don't really mean as much IMO.

Then you have like what 3-4 QB projected to go in the top 10, a generational RB(or so they say) in Robinson who they are touted to be the best since AP came out.  Seems like a pretty strong class at least at the top no clue on the depth.

They haven't done very many of the allowed 30

I also don't know how they feel about Quez. Zay Flowers is the best slot WR(pick 30). If you want to give Hurts weapons for the next contract, that would be a way to do it. He reminds me of a slightly less talented JJ but with him,AJ and Smith we would arguably have the best WR trio in the league. PS. Zay can also play outside just like JJ does

The Qb they had in i looked at. No shock he has moved up boards. he won't be a guy we can get in round 7 anymore. DTR from UCLA,but I still think we bring one in to compete for the #3 spot with Book

Carter could go top 10 still. LV already deleted him from their board. IDK if anyone else has. So 4 QB's,him,Paris Johnson may go top 10,so basically that leaves 3 picks left until ours, unless we trade

Anderson and Wilson probably also top 10,so then there is 1 pick left before ours

What type? What type do we not possess? Different technique specific players all through the draft.

I would interpret his quote as we could use another pro bowl player. And another, and another…   i.e.striving for perfection even though unlikely it will ever be achieved.

Idk...I believe a player isn't labeled or limited at the age of 21-22.  They can get the athlete and teach the technique.     Very good interview with Kelce and Howie... good insight on their draft ideas regarding players and the mindset of getting ahead of the curve.

I think you overthink things...as per usual.
