I think though we need to cut bait with some guys, like Zech who is just wasting a roster spot

He’s a key ST. He showed a little at Cb. Just hasn’t been out there much to even judge. He’s fighting for top backup spot with Greedy though. I could bail on Scott and Wallace if they still hanging around. Several others they got lower than Zech. Top ST guy and I’m thinking could be mediocre CB if he had to take over. Just don’t know. He’s been in the league a good amount of time to have learned the job some at this level though. I just don’t want any starters going down to find out. I like him though. Maybe get a real P to make coverage on ST easier. Hurts isn’t perfect. Sometimes he is forced to P. I know ….not much …but it happened.

Why do we have Tyrie Cleveland? Just guys like that to me need cleaned out

Gotta have camp bodies and PS. Not going to have 90 Jason Kelce level guys. I like those underdog hungry players. Guys make everybody practice hard too. Those types aren’t coasting in practice.

He could be a returner also. Not sure. Scott and Covey haven’t done anything to lock their spots in. Front runners for sure. Developed Covey tinyness last season…so probably stick with him to step it up year two.

Me too,but that's all I can work with at the moment. My thoughts are a minor trade back and take Van Ness. How far back we can go I can't say

Expecting a trade back early followed by a day two trade up.

Send No. 10 and a third-rounder next year to the New York Jets for their 13th pick and their second-round pick, No. 43 overall, this year.

Slays car is much nicer than a KIA. That guy with his car stolen didn’t decide to stay here. Went to the top quality environment city of Detroit….don’t even have to lock your car there. Don’t think Ceedy Duce could afford the ultimate new wheels he thought he would afford. Turns out he isn’t as fantastic as he believes. 6.5 mil still a nice chunk of change. Good average S money. Rosie made him offers….he walked away from them. Could have drove if it wasn’t for that dang Philly Jacker. Maybe he can get up with Eminem to lay a track on his new label…Why Doesn’t Everybody See I’m the Greatest? Can’t imagine Rosie didn’t offer more than 6.5 mil. He’s a mouthy punk really. So not worth leadership money. Honestly I had his offer from the Saints as a slot corner at more than 6.5. Figured around 8. Screw Ceedy Duce. Don’t want to be an Eagles? Don’t need him. Bradberry hungry to play here. Good outcome!

The same guy you wanted to give 13 mil per year in October???

Maybe you should look over the Panthers roster before you go that far. This is football. Professional. Always love great character guys. But we need talented football players first. I’m not even sure I know what you are burying this kid all about really. Georgia staff you could argue coerced this college kid into driving recklessly. Not sure most everybody haven’t done a shady thing or two driving…like passing in the emergency lane…or whatever. Dumb ass scouting coordinator or whatever is to blame. Driving all crazy in a SUV like that is completely reckless…with passengers. The grown up should have been preaching the opposite behavior. Not racing his athletes. Are you killing him for racing? Or that he didn’t stop the coach from wrecking? Or that he wasn’t an EMT saving everybody with his first profession of being a Dr before launching his college football career? I might just be missing part of the story here. Can you just as briefly as possible describe why he’s a total POS. Just trying to understand where you are even coming from.

Immaturity prima donna, pretty easy to see. Manziel comes to mind he never grew up either. Didn't finish the combine, whiffed his pro day, then demands only visits from top 10 teams(What if I pick 12th and wanted to move up?? Ridiculous to be ordered around by a college BSer. Manziel was immature and never got over it. I'm done talking about this- DONE!!!! If you love him fine,if we take him I am DONE as a fan because we have lost the character I thought this team stood for. I won't respond about this from here on out so don't even ask me to. I stated my position and I really don't need to go into another explanation I stated 55 times already

Or not have so much dead money piled up and future money already spent to buy more players. But Rosie did fairly well this offseason.

Which team went ape sh## on free agency??    Here is my take on the salary cap and the Eagles.

1.  The salary cap is a tool...the idea of having cap space is so you can spend in free agency.

2.  As a follow up to #1.... when looking at the 32 teams in the NFL....which team has brought in more free agents than the Eagles?

🤣 LMFAO yeah Detroit where you can buy a whole block of houses for $15,000. very safe place LMFAO. CJG left because his car got stolen,no other reason!!!! Slay stayed because he was "almost a Raven". Baltimore another great city where you don't have to lock your car(still LMFAO)

You are right though I mixed up Slay and CJG

Dline rotates. Secondary doesn’t so much. So DBs out there every play. They have to get involved on runs also. Running full speeds against the world class speed athletes. But I just don’t buy your argument on this one. You can have your opinions. Dline I do value very heavily. If a DB is struggling…gives QBs confidence….which is everything in this league. They’ll just Chuck it up on that guy if the rush bears down. But Gannon freaking let underneath passing almost undefended too much. Especially saw it versus good QBs. Dline can’t get there before a quick slant type plays. Seen elite players effect games from pretty much any position. Fred Warner for the Niners. Seen shutdown corners make a QB not even look that way. S can move around and be that Swiss Army knife disguise type players. DT disrupting a pocket screws up any O play. Seems like the slot corner has huge effects. Very underrated guys. Since Robinson for our SB team. Maddox we were a different team while healthy. I believe he was more key than CGJ. We don’t value LB. Off ball that is. Seen plenty of guys excel in different schemes there. Our leaky run d up the middle is always the biggest issue. Can’t let teams do that all over you. So this is the long version of …just get me some good players.

My opinion is supported by Howies past drafts. maybe he breaks the trend this time, but I wouldn't bet on it

That's kind of funny because you want top level starting talent as BU's. Seems ironic

Nolan Smith could be elite player. But I ask myself can a team fully utilize two undersized pass rushers? Many coaches have failed getting one being productive in their system. Gannon really did excellent with Reddick I’d say. Whole D built around his unique style. Can Reddick and Smith be on the field together though? I’m hesitant to comfirm that positively. Having Nolan backup and rotate with Reddick is how I’d see it mostly. Maybe some clear passing downs they both Wide Nine. Having a guy like Nolan as a backup in case of injury to Reddick I’m not even against. Making sure that position always can be relied on is a luxury not sure we’ve seen much of.

And my point with #2... which team over the recent years. Not so much one year at a time...but over time.   Which team do you see brining in all the free agents compared to the Eagles?

No sidetrack about " No Mas, Rosie can't draft so he needs to bring in free agents"   that's separate.    Cap space...cap space...cap space..  it effects free agency... if we sucked at the cap, then which team manages it better to where they are able and have been able to bring in more free agents?

Really which team out of 32 can you compare overall success since 2016 with the Eagles?  Since Howie took control back ?   Chiefs only team with more SBs and SB appearances.   The Rams are the only other team with same SB results as us... 29 other teams haven't been close really.

Why would they do that? I have no clue who wants to move up for 10. I hope someone does. I can mock trade with any team, but they have to want to do it

If a QB gets knocked on his arse every play, coverage don't really matter.  He won't be confident.

The DL also is more important than the DBs on the run plays.

Nobody " demands" visits.  The player is the one traveling around... does he need to travel to 32 cities ....then you will blame him for being out of shape etc.    I don't think anyone visits all 32 teams.  You think the top QBs are taking visits outside the top 10?

Well it looks like he wouldn’t have taken it. Who knows what he thought was waiting for him? I honestly was thinking after that interception streak before injury he was climbing towards 18 mil. He was making the big plays. But film breakdown tells some different stories. Other than those big plays he wasn’t really playing at elite S levels. Tackling was an issue. Not just the play he bounced off Watson tearing his kidney. Coverage wasn’t as strong as I initially believed it to be. Sitting back there was clearly a good way to grab picks. But I did believe he can gain weight to become more a S than the slot guy that came here. That’s an easy area to believe he will improve tackling by just adding mass and muscle. His attitude stinks. Was always just about the money. He was going wherever the bag was for him. But he didn’t accept what I believe was the biggest bag from us. Not like he totally made it clear he wasn’t desiring to have to guard his Kia in Philly. He thought a better offer would come from somewhere. But that’s the problem it’s these thug super athletes. Hired an agent that should have completely gone through every team to know what the market said. Get two close up top maybe get the bidding war started. Terrible agent to let things go down like they did for him. I believe Saints originally offered a bit more than the lions even.

We don't know who would want to move up....every year I get surprised by a few teams though.

Right...so dumb to want to spend that money after 3 games.

LMAO OH if he gets out of shape doing football visits he shouldn't be in the top 10 anyhow. He has time to rest after the draft before camp starts?

Yes... he also said he would visit with those teams.

You think this is him...or Drew Rosenhaus?  Come on,you know it's the agent. You are this kid, Drew Rosenhaus has been a big time agent for a couple decades.... you know he will do whatever Drew wants.  Come on now. Common sense.
