Most think(and I do also) that 4 go. Puts us in a nice position to move back a few. I still believe Van Ness is the target and he should be there at 12-15,so that is the area I look at,but we need a team to move up. Could also actually see a move up for my boy Hooker. Hard to know if he will be ready to go week 1,but if some team needs a QB who can wait a year and get him healthy and going, they will get a nice steal if they can snag him in round 2.Heck maybe TB will take him at 19 . Be a smart move for them since they aren't going anywhere this year and they seem to like those "over the hill" aged players lol) On target to be a Heisman finalist(or winner) so he is all about medicals(but yes, he is still human 🤣

I just looked at a mock...   we traded with Minnesota...who took the 4th QB.  The first OL went 11th to Tennessee.

They had 3 QBs.... 4 DL...2 CBs in the first 9 picks.

So I heard the " experts " on NFL network say that the visits are used more to eliminate the kids from the draft board.

And some are smoke screens to maybe entice a trade later

You think so?  I thought it seems that the top picks are going to be QBs and DL?  Seems a CB can sneak in there, the RB may get drafted top 10 too.

Idk... it's why it's wait and see mostly.

OT's seem to be rising(even a few G's). If you have a new QB you need to protect the franchise. This is a very difficult draft to navigate. 1/2 WR's could go top 10 although I think they get pushed back like RB's. Good line draft, the guys that will go mid-late 1's would normally be at the top in most other drafts,so it's nice for teams, they can pick guys that really fit. I don't worry about "reach and value" unless it's really blatant. If a kid fits your team for 4 years, take him

I saw that trade too. Paris Johnson and skoronski are in the top 12-15 on most boards i saw. IDK I said before I ran a draft where I stuck at 10 and traded the 30 pick back twice and got alot of good players in the 60 range. Could do that and also move back the 10 some

Van Ness and DeWand Jones are my toop 2 and I think we can move back and still get both

TB also(at 19) trade back to 19,use that extra pick to move back up into 12-15 and still net a 5th or 6th in the process

My point, the Jets could easily trade up to 10 to get their OL.  Don't rule it out.

We trade with Tampa or Minnesota... I want the 2024 1st rounder for that far back.   The Giants got that from the Bears.   I'm not giving up position for extra 5th round pick.

Super humans don't drop balls in the biggest game of their career. Our crap D had the highest turnover ratio in the league.Although the defense had it's share of problems after the 1/2,the offense didn't do diddly either. All they(the offense) had to do was score when they did(fail) and we would not have given up a 10 point lead. Where was that super human stellar leadership? AWOL. We lost by 3 and the "super human" gave them 7 points(do the math). The field conditions took away our biggest asset which was our pass rush. One of the top D's in the league couldn't get 1 sack? For 60 minutes? Their O line is the best in the biz? Not buying. I had the fastest street car in Akron, let's call that the D line. You could stand in front of it,push down on the hood while I floored it and you could move it backwards. Our pass rush was ineffective for the same reason(no traction). So it's nice when you can take away an opponents strength starting with the first snap. Their D line was ineffective also, but that was one of our advantages. Now knowing both D lines are ineffective, the loss falls upon the offense. Super human gift wrapped 7 points,so stop with the Hurts superhuman baloney.

Hurts was the best player in that game

If they want the top 1 or 2 they will have to go higher than 10. They can stick and take Broderick Jones. Like us,I believe they want more picks not less. I would be fine with a move back to 13

I don’t see an Oline player worthy of top ten this draft.

Mostly I’ve thought of them as ways to finish the scouting process. Bring in any players that questions still remain on. Remember you need to scout thoroughly every player. It’s not just about whom you intend to choose. You need to be ready to gameplan against every player as well. When options come up in trades and FA you are ready to make any decisions. The scouting doesn’t end at draft day. It’s an ongoing process throughout their entire careers.

Mocks everywhere. Just don’t interest me. One step behind those Power Rankings. Can’t believe evidently so many click on Power Rankings to drive that segment of sports journalism.

I don't watch college, nor have the time or interest.   The mocks work for me in seeing the prospects... and serve as a reminder where every team picks.     I like to look at them as the draft approaches.    More so this year as I only look up to #10.

I prefer more the big board rankings. Tell me how good players are more than basing it on the team picking needs.

IDK Paris and Skoronski could go if teams want to protect their new franchise QB. I can't rule it out

IDK I suppose the FO has to run mocks in some fashion I would think. You have to have an idea who would be around when you pick. No sense putting guys on your board you can't have. Also reasons to make trades if your target player is gone or you need to move up for a guy you want that you know another team will take. I assume all teams do this.you can't just go in winging it

That's great...except it doesn't have where the teams pick.   And isn't really realistic..especially when the RB is a top guy.  Not going to have the impact as the other players.

I like to look and see about possible trades that may happen too.

This year with picking 10...and QBs at the top of the draft, I find it more interesting for the Eagles.

That latest mock has Eagles trading down both spots.    4 rounds of the draft... 6 players... DT, RB, S, Edge, S and OL.    The RB from Alabama seems the type of target we loom for in RB.   Also gets us another 1st rounder next year from Minnesota.

If that's the case, we can look back at the Saints desperation leading to a really huge haul.

Me too,it's a prime pick. It's a psychological pick too as the last of the "top 10" Player 11 may be just as good, but teams always love that top 10 lol
