Supposedly Will Parks is on the trade block. Don’t really know why? Does he even have any value? He’s been a puzzling player for me the whole time anyway. Seemed like several thought he was going to be some kind of savior for the secondary.

Sure he has some value decent S... I thought the biggest thing he added was the ability to move Mills down when needed to CB

After listening to #Eagles Jordan Mailata it sounds like he will start at RT on Sunday night with Jason Peters at LT.

I could only see shipping him out for seventh round pick....maybe.  Not really thinking we can even get that. So you believe he can get us more?

I’m very curious what Rosie turned down in the Ertz offers. He might have been playing hardball to try and get a little more out of the deal and then Ertz got injured. Seems like Rosie blew that opportunity. I don’t think Ertz has any intention of suiting up for us next season.

5th-7th rounder might be a conditional pick he isn’t come back next year so anything we get from him in my eyes would be a plus

My guess is we likely wanted at least a 2nd for Ertz. Ravens/GB image them likely offering late 3rd or 4th rounder 

My guess Ertz is traded in the off-season likely get around the value Ravens/GB supposedly offered now likely a late 3rd-4th rounder

LOL... dude would be stealing money at next year's salary.   Loved him 2018 and prior... he's not the same player.   He's be foolish to sit out on his own, get the money son.   He won't get paid more anywhere else, or at least he shouldn't... but what do I know... the 3rd string guy got $7 mil from Chicago a few years back, only takes one sucker.  

But yeah, not sure if and what Howie was thinking.... I'd do it for a 7th rounder, get that $$ off the books.  Go young, lets get a blocker in here at TE.

Actually ... what would happen is... he would actually have a higher cap # this year due to all the salary cap proration counting this year.... but all of his 2021 would come off the books.   Basically at the end of the day... the rest of this season's $6.6 mil salary comes off the books.    so if we traded Ertz after week 4... would have saved us like $5 mil  towards next year's calculation.     $388,235 is his weekly salary, each week short of 17 he would play for another team, would be what we save.    To me, well worth worrying about trying to be greedy for a player who needs more around him to succeed and wasn't going to be happy making good TE money.  Plus to be honest, I think it's better for Wentz if he leaves.

Fans that cry about Schwartz should realize we are spending 112.4 million dollars on offense compared to 64.8 mil on defense.

We try Hurts and that gets ZIP,so why not try it once? I don't know why you are always against everything I say. It's ONE play for gods sake not the end of the world.If his knees are that bad/vulnerable that he can't do 1 play from near the GL he should not be on the field. I'm not asking him to run 50 yards lol.  I'm wondering what life would be like if we had taken JJ like I wanted.He's killin it in Minnesota

YO we SIGNED him to play RG right?(or was I in a coma?) He is used to the LEFT side,so I think he would make a better LOG than a ROG?? I also explained why he could coach Mailata IN GAME by being right next to him.Once again why are you afraid to try it? It's not like we are undefeated here

Ravens and GB don't need a TE that badly.Both teams have decent enough TE's(I have them in fantasy).My default homers could use him(Carolina)

I want to try it so then you can stop after you realize it's not going to work because it;s not rugby.  I'm all for it and for Dillard to get bullied at OG so then we can move on to the next one... maybe Wentz can replace Elliot at kicker, couldn;t be much worse.  We won't know until we try it.

Right but then you keep missing the we would have Pryor matchup withe Lawrence... is that what is best for Wentz... what you keep harping on?  Do you want Lawrence lining up all game long vs Pryor?   In life you need to not always go by the book and understand the moment.  A weak player vs Lawrence could kill the offense.   

It's the match up game   OL and DBs need to be solid without a hole..... but flip it and one WR or one DL can cause the mismatch that totally changes the game.  I don't the coahc on hte field at LG and put in the training camp attitude on the left side... while Pryor is getting beat like a turnstile and Wentz gets his ass kicked ... because of all that great theory.  Put the best guy in front of Lawrence... to me, if its at RT .. it's Mailata over Pryor or Peters.   You can switch it back next week.

So if you spill water out of a bottle... do you pick up the bottle before it's done spilling or just let it go?   That's why you worry about cap now, I'm sure both Alshon and Ertz have been on the trade block and they both knew it.  I'm in Ham's camp, i'm not worried about the picks we get in return as much as the extra cap space we would get.  But I want to see the young guys play anyway.  I don't think Ertz helps you win games anymore... and Alshon is basically what Fulgham gives you.  For here, I don't see any value they bring as far as help winning now.  Certainly not in the future.  I can't imagine a team not giving a late round pick for either if it were a contender.  I would think Chicago for Alshon with Foles ... Ertz in Arizona ... those would be nice fits for teams that would look to make some noise this year.
