Quez drops the big pass.

Yeah... it's why I would love to see that 3rd WR or 2nd stud TE spot upgraded.  You gotta make that catch in the Superbowl.  Also another passing option then perhaps you don't run the QB on 3rd and 6 which led to the fumble.  And maybe you convert 3rd down before the blown punt coverage.

You get me the next Welker or Edlemen in with this group... that's tough for a defense to cover.

Again... you aren't listening to my BPA.   BPA = the Eagles big board... when it comes time to draft its the guy at the top of the list.   It's not complicated really.

In your opinion. I don't think it' as simple as you do,that is my opinion

Mahomes threw four interceptions his first two SB.

LMAO so comparing 2 fails is like 2 wrongs don't make a right, but anything to pplish the Hurts bronze staute,I get it

Hurts gets us to the playoffs. Rallying after such a terrible losing record start. So they throw their negative darts at the missing players or quality of professional opponent.

2 years ago, easiest schedule in the league, last year 2nd easiest in the league. One with players, one with. Hurts however was not good enough to overcame a few blips on the defense in the SB we LOST and had a 10 point lead. So although you can point to many areas the fact remains Hurts "intangibles" we not enough to get the win. Has nothing to with with "hate" but you need to remove the blinders. Probably the best defense we will have for a long time and maybe the best offensive weapons I can recall in recent memory and that wasn't enough

I mean….can pin the blame on almost anybody on our team and even D coaching. The last guy to be able to point at his Hurts. Unreal game! Had to do everything! Just showing how some just will never admit they’ve been wrong. QB1 for us was the best player on the field that day. Not even close.

Maybe next time he won't drop the ball in the most important game of the season. We can hope

Just pathetic! What game did you see? The one I watched….most our players underachieved or worse. Top DBs didn’t make a single play. Got beat by average talented pass catchers. Had a late pick rusher do plenty of damage. Didn’t really do much at all to Mahomes. Record setting deep Dline the preaching endlessly calls for….stunk. Not much pressure. Gave up to much on the ground. Sanders it seemed was possibly already hurt too much to be effective. I originally thought that first play maybe he just had his injury he had been nursing late in the season seemingly just give out on him. Gainwell did a little bit. Oline gave up two sacks. Had the false start that forced the play to even exist in the first place. Then had a poorly blocked execution on the fumble. P shanks a returned kick by a guy that I don’t think had ever done much of anything but fair catch in his career. Coverage doesn’t make up for his mistake.

Let’s don’t forget the leagues blame. They screwed us! Fixed the field conditions to favor Mighty Mahomes!

So if the field conditions were fixed from the start how did we get a 10 point lead? Was the field changed at 1/2 time?

SO Edge/OT guy is at 10,so is Njigba(probably the best slot guy we will see for awhile-note I did not say best WR I said best SLOT)Who do you take? All are graded the same on the board

Was Dickerson better choice or Baremore?    Kelce was 6th round, Mailata 7th...so who is arrogant enough to say there isn't a great OL in this draft.    It would take a really arrogant pompous individual to make that definitive statement.   Good thing we don't have that type on this board.

Talking about the usual obvious top  stud choices clearly. Always possible Tom Brady could pop up. But usually is a few top Oline that really check plenty of boxes out of the gate. So I was so obviously describing what this draft offered at the top.

Howie on the Kelce podcast was pretty transparent.  Saying they look for the physical traits because they believe Stoutland can teach the techniques at the elite level.   If we draft OL early, I would logically assume Stout giving the recommendation.

Not like OCyrus types. Need big athletic guys with long arms. Preferably that are smart.

They aren't the same on the final board...that's my point.   They may be the same at some point during the buildup or the process to getting to the final board....but when the board is final, they have it set to where they know who they prefer to take at the moment of truth.

You are stuck in the " grading stage"   I'm past that 7.1 or 8.2 phase.  I'm saying by draft time they have their order. They will know who they will take if they can't make a trade.

Idk why ????   Hurts played a great game ...but made a brutal mistake that just gave the other team 7 points.

I mean ...the whole world knows that one brutal mistake was 100% his fault on that one play.

When you lose by a score... one mistake is a factor.    Doesn't take away anything from the rest of the play...but Idk why it's impossible to say Hurts made a big mistake?

That's life, nobody is perfect.

Idk maybe the expectation is so low that or the mental side is so soft that anything negative ( regardless of how obviously true it is) just can't be said???

Dude is going to be paid 9 figures soon... the level of expectation now is going to be elite or bust.   At this point, pretty much only the negative stuff gets brought up.   This board is going to be the least of it.

Let you do the eye test on who is better?  I'll take AJ. You can have the other guys.

You contradict yourself constantly.  You want all in...yet you would prefer rookies over AJ and CGJ last year?

You think Chris Olave or a WR drafted afterwards and Dax Hill would have been better for the 2022 Eagles?

That's what you are insinuating with the wise cracks and critique of the Eagles moves.  " i would have done this ..I,  me, I,  me, i...etc.... which is it ..all in or draft the rookies?

If you agree that AJ and CGJ were better for 2022 then be happy about the way it turned out...plus the extra picks ( 10 this year and next year's 2nd rounder,)  otherwise the alternative was Olave and Dax Hill... and not the same success last year.... and no 10 pick or next years 2nd rounder.

Say it and commit to something...otherwise it's more annoying than the 5 years you constantly brought up Ziggy over Lane.  Move on already.

I don't have the advantage of knowing when I pick and even so why even have a draft if every team just goes right down the line? Just assign the players in order,no need for a draft

Yep that's reality. Plenty of blame to go around, but it's foolish not to think he wasn't part of the blame. Nobody is perfect, nobody expects perfection, but you have to open your eyes. I would be curious to see a game vs the Bears(last year) with Fields as our QB and Hurts theirs

Except it’s not like you were calling for Lane. You just liked the results afterwards

Olave went over 1,000 yards. Wilson went over 1,100 yards. Both with terrible QB play. So could we have been better long term and short term possibly by fettering the rooks instead of vets? Long term? without question. Short term you’d have to actually consider who we added with all that AJ contract money to come to that conclusion. But it’s obviously looking not terribly far behind before even dreaming of what that/those additions would have become. CGJ I just don’t see any logical reasoning to not trade for even after drafting a S at the end of the first round(like my whole idea suggested). Really is just stupid to actually try and come up with any reasoning to not have done that trade. The ohhhh Rosie doesn’t end up making the steal super cheap trade just because we took a S early…..I’d such a lame weak excuse. Such a clear and obvious trade to make to upgrade the team. You are the one waffling. Is Rosie the top  of the year? Or such a moron he passes up the practically nothing compensation to trade for CGJ?

  • Author

Having Epps, CJG, one of those S from late first early second round grouping that already proven themselves first year and Blankenship. That’s just no brainer..BETTER!
