I plan for where I pick. Actually I like to pick 4/5,so no way to know who I would take at 1. I look for where the depth is because the mid rounds win or lose your fantasy. if I had to choose right now at 1,I would take Mahomes, although I hate taking QB's first, then probably 2 top WR's, round 4 maybe a TE or RB,then WR 3 then RB 2,so it depends how the draft goes. If I don't pick at one then I have to look at other teams strategies and try to cut them off. Fantasy drafting is not like real drafting at all because you can take vet players. In real drafts you only get rooks

Ok.... when the time comes and you have put your 2024 mocks on hold and start looking at fantasy....I'll go look at my dynasty league and the rookie list.  We will go over the players ...and when we disagree you will see what I mean about " having your own board"  not " rankings " that you consider to be universal. Then you will see what I mean about the Eagles BPA.

Hurts first QB,KC is seasoned at post season. So he made a big mistake. He is human after all. Doesn't mean I'm looking for a new QB jebus, nor am I a "hater"

Probably too much trouble, but I might. Fantasy not even close to real drafting unless you are in a rookie only league

Right  .. your first time saying that on here.   You don't realize that you have resisted saying that for 2 months.

Said it over and over. Complete fabrication for you to try and say it’s the first time I’ve said Hurts made a mistake and fumbled. Exactly why there just can’t be any worthy level conversation around here sadly any more.

Ham should understand ... for a couple days he was pointing out all the weaknesses of our OL... and then finally admitted he wouldn't take another OL over ours.  So he should understand honest assessment...being the best doesn't mean being perfect..

Just for some reason he can't bring himself to point out the Hurts mistakes when they come?  Doesn't make sense?

So Ham,if we stay where we are we have(basically 4 picks that matter unless you get lucky with a 7th). How any positions of need do you see? My guess is more than 4. So now you have to make decisions as to which 4 are the most important. You may feel S is one of them, maybe I feel edge is. All that matters is what Howie thinks, but he doesn't draft DB's high so IDK why you expect him to do a 180 now?

No trouble for you..I will list ten or so rookies... obviously the Texas RB is going to go first...but them we will go over the list and see who we would pick each time...won't take long before we disagree.

I see 20 positions of need,it's why I'll take the BPA.  The Eagles BPA,not any other ranking systems.

The rook would have to be better than the vet player for me. Since I am not in a rookie only league it's a moot point. I did pick up Olave as WR 3 last year

Except I clearly accepted Hurts fumble mistake over and over again. You just don’t like the reason he was put in that position.

So who is the BPA? We moving up for Wilson? he's probably the BPA non QB

He wasn't even hit as I remember it,he just dropped the ball, but that's the Olines fault?

I meant Will Anderson LOL although we'd need to move up for either one

Eagles BPA is what I refer to as weighted BPA. Grading scale with bonuses towards certain position groups more than others based on the positional hierarchy. Then you have position of need that weighs in on the BPA.

Oh well, off to mow the back 40. back later

So again...we will do the rookies...because in the dynasty leagues the vets are already on teams...it's a full keeper mode.

I'll get the rookies list...you just let me know when you start looking at fantasy and it will take 5 minutes tops.

I agree about the false start... the whole house was annoyed we didn't get to run the sneak.   It's no excuse for the fumble.  The " hero ball" I had to hear about for 2 years about the previous guy.  Just remain consistent.  That was a brutal mistake on the biggest stage.

You throw in another receiving option and maybe our QB1 doesn't lock himself in on college ball style and looks to pass on 3rd and 6?   We know that drafting the RB at 10 isn't going to make it be a handoff on 3rd and 6. It's a passing down.

Idk...the Eagles know..that's what I've been trying to explain to you. For some reason we aren't communicating here?

The Eagles BPA...nobody else's BPA you follow?  So I wouldn't have the answer for you.

Agree...except I think the first part was a little overboard in many of the drafts late in Andy's tenure ... too many studs passed over to keep going DL first. 2003 McDougle, 2005 Patterson, 2006 Bunkley, 2007 ( Abiamiri because Kolb wasn't going to play) 2008 Laws, 2010 Graham, 2012 Cox.

7 out of 10 years there.  Andrew's, Watkins and Maclin the other 3.

Would love to see S or LB one year, again to me sign they truly went BPA in the sense they thought that player was the best... not just cause they overvalued the position he plays.   If we take a CB first this, we know they really like that player.

It's how I felt about Dickerson.  Granted they love linemen, but OL is not a usual 2nd round pick for them.

It's why I'm looking at this draft and thinking positively.   I'm ok with DL, OL, WR, CB, TE...  they all can contribute in some fashion and set up the future.  Even the RB would obviously upgrade.

I don't see them going RB,S or LB ever with the 1st pick....not until they actually do it once will I consider it.  I'm ok with any of the rest, just get in some good young players.   The next 2 drafts here need to build the future core.  The 2018 group is eventually going to turn into the vet leaders soon enough.

Time flies... already getting to the ends of careers for Kelce, Cox, Graham and Lane... can't believe how fast the time went.  4 coaches for 3 of them too.

Yes, because we were setup for a gimme QB sneak and Seaumalu false started. Creating six yards needed instead of one.

You could get all into the blocking on the fumble play also. How defenders weren’t blocked that Hurts was about to need to deal with.

Hurts became the first player in NFL history to throw for 300 yards, run for 70 yards, complete 70 percent of his passes and rush for three touchdowns – in any game, regular season, postseason or Super Bowl.

Threw for over 300 yards.
