Just a little nicer than how I live 😉

I’ve said the fumble was his mistake. The only refusal and no admission is from you. You are the one that hasn’t once actually admitted the blame of Seumalo. Do we successfully convert the QB sneak if Seumalo doesn’t false start?

Lol... that was the play before where I've agreed the whole time.  I just said today the whole house was annoyed at the time because we all wanted to see the sneak.

Why do you constantly harp on other things to deflect from Hurts all the time?  Is this going to be the next 12 years from you?

Hurts put up over 30 points but made a big mistake. If the D does their job…Hurts would have carried us to victory. "Does their job” is an overstatement….done jale

Jalen Hurts is a football GOD. .  Who similar to Mel in the movie Scarface ..." he F@#ked up " on that one play...in a major way.

Keep bringing up everything else... doesn't change the fact Hurts made one huge mistake....very easy one to avoid... in the big game.   Facts.

How I see theQB draft situation unfolding is(especially with a perspective concerning being an Eagles fan picking at 10) :first three picks will be QB. So it comes down to Levis. Those three teams Panthers, Texans and ? Are out for needing Levis obviously. Most teams can be ruled out from considering a first round QB left. So that leaves just a couple key teams. Are any of them in love with him as a prospect? Just takes one. If it’s a team ahead of us then it assists us by pushing our guys back a draft spot. If it’s a team behind then it gets interesting. More than one…more interesting. But don’t see them coming to us for the trade. Raiders and Bears are rumored teams interested in trading back right ahead of us. With that thinking we won’t get some dream windfall trade opportunity. We only make the deal by being the cheaper option with less potential for him to be a possibility at 10 than 7 or 9. The next huge factor that I just haven’t really read anybody consider is it comes down to what’s the gap between Levis and the next QB draft option? Obviously the larger the gap the more value Levis brings. That part I actually believe is significant. Huge gap. My feelings are that you try him or the others aren’t options worthy before day three. I actually can’t say I vouch for even any of them being draftable. Houston kid maybe worth taking a chance on.

Everybody in Pop Warner also knows that a punt requires distance and hangtime. Can’t get you to admit that still though.

Professional players...  5 vs 1 should make the tackle.... I will easily admit it was a bad punt... that should have had the tackle made at the opponent's 40 yard line.

Or you could point to the difference in D.  Point to the P shank. Nah…you just deflect everything is all on Hurts. If he was completely flawless and had an even better game, which is as a record breaking performance as is, you know….more than the best game a player has ever played. He actually put us in a position to need to rely on others on the team. Actually had to P. Hurts fault for the shank. Coverage units fault for not saving the shank with a great tackle. Anything possible other than actually admitting what FL and I saw coming the whole time….P sucks!

Not everything on Hurts....just that one play ....that gave the opponent 7 free points in a game we lost by 3.

Im not in a dynasty league either. Why is this so important? It's not at all like NFL drafting

To show you BPA.  So we stop having the same miscommunication each and every year.

Doesn’t exactly fit what it quoted pertaining to of No Mas blaming Hurts for college ball and just running without passing though, now does it? Can’t really say he wasn’t passing the ball with any validity.

Did I ever blame Hurts... I simply stated that adding another receiving weapon makes the 3rd downs easier to convert via the pass.  If the pass was the call...then no fumble.  Also perhaps no punt.

We are here now... right before the draft, I wouldn't mind at all if that weapon was addressed.

Ok so I’m putting all that out there about the QB draft situation. Don’t see us in any position to reap great rewards trading them 10 pick to a QB desperate team. Also am of the belief Rosie wants to trade back from 10 unless Carter unlikely falls. Really don’t want to trade back just because we wish to though. Last year he was going to trade back from a first rounder. So with that thinking he managed a good deal. Wasn’t a trade that couldn’t be refused. Wasn’t some desperate Saints trade offer. But fair deal. So to avoid trading back just because Rosie has already decided he wants to: went through the QB draft situation. So unless nobody really loves Levis I’m "calling” four QBs gone before ten. Not for fame of prediction. For sake of getting real with our situation we face for our draft situation. Gotta get fairly deep into this to figure out how to gain the most. So no huge overlay for a QB is in the cards. But need that fourth QB to actually go top 9. Figuring it occurs. So then we are looking for a team looking to trade up to ten for a nonQB.

Why you always deflect to try and point the figure at Hurts? At least you finally admit(almost) about the sneak. The percentages were just so ridiculously high that it’s sad you still can’t just admit Hurts converts for a first down if Seumalo doesn’t false start. That the fumble never occurs without that penalty. I keep admitting Hurts made a mistake trying to force the play and fumbling. But that play is only a situation occurring from an Oline mistake in the first place. I honestly believe that mistake never occurs without the false start penalty. How I see it. So I’m clearly not changing my view on that. Can even get into all the extreme pressure I believe was being shouldered by Hurts because of most of our franchise underperforming(nice way to put my feelings). Give credit to AR and Chiefs being a huge reason also. Opponent clearly was a massive factor in putting such pressure on Hurts.

The Eagles didn't beat a starting QB on a winning team for almost 3 years..  somehow that is me blaming Hurts.

The offense could use a 4th receiving weapon... that's me blaming Hurts.

I got caught at the red light this morning... somehow that is me blaming Hurts.

To the rest of the world, they understand I've said the whole time, I blame Hurts for dropping the ball... that's it.   Nothing more.   Idk why it's hard to comprehend.

I'm trying to give him another weapon so he has a chance to really lead an all time offense...but it seems that's no good because it comes with expectations????

I'm not following the logic of an Eagles fan who says he is a Hurts fan....as to why he doesn't want to give Hurts all the tools to succeed?

5 minutes ago, cunninghamtheman said:

Why you always deflect to try and pint the figure at Hurts?

Because he fumbled without contact and no other Eagles player had a shot to recover or make the tackle.  On that play....it was 100% him. Unless you think 3rd and 6 every QB should not be blamed for fumbling?

If it's a non QB...should be while we are on the clock ...probably 2 or 3 slots back.  That would lead me to believe that we don't think our guy is going to get selected.

The Minnesota or Tampa scenario would be my choice.... another 3 for 1 deal like the Saints.

We give up 10... for this years first, a 3rd and next year's 1st.

That's flipping one pick..#16 from last year into 5 picks.    Nor bad for Wentz.

In Minnesota's trade...That would be ...Dean, next year's 2nd from the Saints... pick 23 and 87 this year...and next years 1st....  for Wentz.

That's in addition to the 3rd we got in 2022.

I don’t see that coverage unit performing worse than the D did the whole game. Short light hangtime punt. Directional(like usual). So returner was enabled to switch and get around the coverage. Fairly basic fundamental philosophy. Punt team covering right. Short punt with less time for coverage to get there enabled him to get around and reverse fields. To me this is all just easily basic punt return fundamental understanding. Little deeper…but especially more hangtime, at least, on the short punt gives coverage much better opportunity. Not sure how it can’t be seen or understood with any more air time before return opportunity that coverage would be that much better positioned. More time equals better position for a tackle opportunity. P stunk. Biggest moment it happened…lack of caring about the P cost us the Lombardi. All you preached the whole time before the SB was that he hasn’t screwed up so it didn’t even matter. Don’t even think you defended he didn’t stink. But then he did have the screw up that you defended him by not occurring. Happened in the SB of course. To me you just need to learn from all that. Just reflect and realize the crappy P needed to have completion to say the least, to push him to improve, if not flat out upgrading the position. Shank finally happened in the biggest most important moment for the team. GM of the year is to blame along with the crappy P. The total lack of respect for the job cost us.

Only lost by 3 because of Hurts though. Keep admitting his mistake. But he scored more points than any player ever and carried the team. Just too much of a load to think it can happen so nearly flawlessly to complain about the fumble really. Delivered a performance never before seen. How can anybody really expect any player to carry even half that load with zero mistakes? So close to everybody on the side for the Eagles stinking. How much are we supposed to expect one player in football(I consider a team game) to have to be relied on? Everything he had to do….I just think being very harsh about his fumble play is nearly on the levels of ridiculous. Had to overcome his teammates struggling(most anyway include Gannon). Just can’t look at the play in a vacuum. So much pressure by such a great opponent and terrible assistance on his team. No way I can just ignore all that….AND then still not realize how ,on to off so much , that the Oline false start created the situation.

Just go watch the play... one guy with the ball.. 5 Eagles right there.... awful coverage.  Really the inside guy messed it up.. he just keeps him from cutting back and it's an easy tackle. Once he cuts back and the inside guy misses while getting in the way of his teammates....it was over.

Agree...without the other plays ( except for that one)  we lose by a lot.  Similar to the game Brady had.  We could have easily blown them out.

Oh geez..just watched the punt return again... he should have been tackled at the 36.     Brutal coverage!

But let’s endlessly focus on Hurts,  I keep admitting  mistake. Everybody go back and watch it to respond accurately. Who blocks Nick Bolton? Comes through not being touched straight through at Hurts. Five guys rushing. Five Oline. Bolton isn’t accounted for even though he’s right at the line of scrimmage. That’s so clearly the second Oline mistake in a row resulting in the bad play.

Brutal coverage because the punt was short and wasn’t in the air enough. A medium decent punt and coverage is so much better position. That part isn’t even arguable.

I’m sure you all remember how high I was on selecting Nick Bolton. He’s a heck of an athlete and player.
