Yet you wanted to spend 8+ million for  RB?

Yeah nobody helped get us there all year, all Hurts. Sanders didn't contribute a thing

But let’s just keep ignoring how the very last game we watched showed how mediocre  RB isn’t good enough in the big games…that was behind the best Oline in the league. Best Oline, Sanders hurt, Gainwell gets 21 rushing yards. Some how this actually seems to being preached as a winning strategy and philosophy though. Just need Oline to run the ball? So clearly not. Healthy Sanders completely changes that game.

Great idea and really seeming like a solid investment. What have you done with your Wentz shrine room? I know remodel contractors that can help you out. If you just demo it completely you’ll upgrade your property.

I don't talk about Wentz YOU DO. Nice try(fail) though

They shut down the running game, just like we used to do vs other teams. How bad did we shut down Dalvin Cook? If you can't run why would you continue to do it? Hurts was able to run because they had noone to defend it,not real surprising

That was a legendary game! But he already has a long list of a football story. Already can practically guarantee it’s a future movie. His college career had so much of an amazing story even. Hard to imagine much more of a start towards LEGENDARY than this only 24 year old had already accomplished. Can’t imagine anything better than him accomplishing a legendary career..here that is.

KC was the top run stopping defense. I don’t think any RB got over 21 yards on them. But Gainwell rushed all over them for three yards a carry behind our best Oline. Best Oline and Gainwell level RB equals 21 yards on the ground in the big game.

Of course I’m sure it was Hurts fault the RB room faltered some how as well.

This is great! I keep admitting Hurts fumbled. But that never happened. Now I want to pay 8 mil for a RB. That never happened either. I will assist you on this to at least admit I discussed paying 8 mil as a possible option. Only when I clearly was discussing that all options should be on the table. That the big picture is what’s really important. So I’m not even saying I wouldn’t pay a RB 8 mil either. But I never said I want to either.

Sanders kicked butt. Got injured at the end of the season. Lost two of those games and the SB. Might be a factor in success.

But everything that happened all season doesn’t get added into the SB game unfortunately. Dominated running most all season. But RBs did squat in the biggest game. So maybe need to consider what actually is important and matters. Is it season long stats? Or is it what you need to win the most important games? Did the season stats save the fact our P shanked in the SB? Did our record breaking sack pace every other game play any factor in Zona? Big picture stats just aren’t everything. Have their uses. But clearly flawed to think they tell the whole story.

Stats are a very good tool. But need to be careful how they are applied. Balance what is important and relevant. How much does piling up yards rushing on the terrible giants run D apply to winning the big games? It at least meant one dominant playoff victory since they snuck in and were able to take out the pretenders first playoff game. Personally means much to me. Love to just trounce those guys! Felt fantastic! Probably not healthy my obsession for the Eagles and hatred for this Gmen.

Did you see in all the giants eyes how beaten they were and forced to just give up? Total domination and humiliation. They were riding at such a high too. Made the playoffs. Beat a high playoff seed. Before our game….really think they believed so much of the false hype. They believed they were in a class with us. Thought they could prevail. So foolish. But made it all the better. Right when the hit their high and starting thinking they were contenders….we humiliated them in front of the world. It was fantastic!

Practically the same team with or without Hurts really. Clearly Hurts was just a product of coaching, system and team.

Something weird going on now also. All this past history where two black QBs in the SB facing off was impossible. Running QBs don’t win in the postseason propaganda. Is it possible only looking backwards towards what has happened has its flaws? Could it be possible the game evolves? Trying to shape thoughts based on historical NFL success might not be such a bulletproof plan? Thinking outside the box and doing things different could actually be a better way to succeed?

If we don’t upgrade the RB room, like you’ve seemingly preached approval about, I expect a need for more Empty Set. Practically forced to go there when faced with Sanders not being able to contribute. Perfect example and opportunity to learn a lesson there. Clearly not noticed by you…worried Rosie somehow missed it also.

I expect better passing... it's a passing league.  When KC needed to convert, they executed their passes.  The Eagles did for the most part all year.

This is a unique situation for the Eagles.   Supposed franchise QBs have not had the receivers here to where it was set up long term.

We have " supposedly " the 2nd best player in the NFL playing QB for us...  but instead of James Thrash,  Calvin Williams,  John Hightower....  we have AJ , Smith and Goedert...3 pro bowl level players ... all locked in.

Man if you could add the Donte Stalworth, Eric Decker, Brandon Stokley type 4th weapon to the already elite WRs... now you are talking.   Giving the 2nd best player in the league the tools to break all kinds of records.   And set that up ....LONG TERM!

Man you can focus everything else on the defense after that.   Build it up like the Colts, Saints and Pats did...even the Packers... knowing the offense was locked in.   Imagine the free agents you could sign wanting to play opposite that offense?  They know they could make one play on defense and win the game...absolutely no pressure.

3rd and 6... you are worried about " empty set" and running it.   That's a passing situation that needs to be executed. The 2nd best QB ...if that's who he really is...should be able to pass there.

" in the big game the mediocre RB wasn't good enough"?

Let's review... we scored 35 points... we punted 2 times.   We ran out of time on the last drive.

But the RB was the problem????

That's the genius conclusion?

Defense had all kinds of high talent personnel. Didn’t make a play though. So your plan is get better players on defense then we just had?

Over 300 passing yards doesnt cut it is what you’re saying?

Passed the ball effectively against KC. Hurts just didn’t get any help. What was missing was a Rb helping. That’s something you can look back on plenty to see how having a quality rushing attack helps any QB.
