Sure Adams was a huge factor. But I think you aren’t seeing how symbiotic everything really is.

You don’t understand how it’s not just Dline driving sacks. Having coverage to go with the capable rush transforms the whole thing

Calling Smitty Pro Bowl is a step to far. Not like I don’t like him. Just a notch lower than that to me though.

You blame Hurts for the passing when the WR is near worst league wide. Then when the WR is legit you put everything on that being the reason. That’s this endless Hurtshating you are stuck in.

That was a legendary game! But he already has a long list of a football story. Already can practically guarantee it’s a future movie. His college career had so much of an amazing story even. Hard to imagine much more of a start towards LEGENDARY than this only 24 year old had already accomplished. Can’t imagine anything better than him accomplishing a legendary career..here that is.

I don't watch college....being that it's legendary... and a movie...us there any championship involved?

How old were Brady and Big Ben when they won the Superbowl... Marino had that legendary sophomore year.

Idk about anything legendary from Hurts... he beat the Giants and SF without a QB...that's the peak of his NFL career so far...  but I hope the legendary stuff comes in the future...would be great.

It's a trilogy...." chicken noodles soup" for Montana....followed by the catch and all those SF superbowls and moments....

Then you have " the band is on the field"  the drive, the drive 2.. and all those moments for Elway...

Then Hurts continues the legendary saga with

It's folklore... when we establish a colony on the moon... they will be talking about the legendary tales of...

Sanders kicked butt. Got injured at the end of the season. Lost two of those games and the SB. Might be a factor in success.

We will get him back in 3 years on the cheap.

Are you talking about the 3 playoff games where the offense scored 38, 31 and 35 ???     That is your argument that Sanders was a factor?

Over 300 passing yards doesnt cut it is what you’re saying?

Did it cut it for the games Wentz threw for 300 and lost?   No Mas ...Wentz turned it over and gave them points...

Right.

Exactly where you try and make your case mostly against the Gmen pathetic run D.

I'm making the case that they scored a lot of points each game you say Sanders wasn't 100%.   He isn't a factor.  They had a better run offense in 2021... he didn't have as many touches.

Let's hope he can help Carolina stay ahead of the Saints this year.

95 catches 1196 yards and 7 TDs...  as a #2 WR.

In Eagles history where does that rank?    Then consider its the #2.

Passing league.. let's set up the passing team.

Next year Hurts will break EVERY Eagles passing record if he stays healthy for 16 games.

Guess you’re assuming we rest him week 17 this time

I like balance. Think it works best.

Assuming he gets hurt for one game... but I said 16 games because that is what all the QBs from Jaws going forward played.   The 17 game records to me kinda BS at the moment.

The recent SB winners... Chiefs, Rams, Patriots.... balance or the passing game?

Practically the same team with or without Hurts really. Clearly Hurts was just a product of coaching, system and team.

Hurts is good,so is the team we surrounded him with. That's what all teams try to do. Howie has been just terrific in accomplishing that and once again with ALL the players we lost,I don't see a whole lot of fall off. Will be harder a bit this year, then again we have young guys who can step up and 1 or 2 drafts picks that fit will keep us contending. after the last 2 drafts and stellar off season moves,I can't bash Howie like I used to. Is he perfect,no,noone is,but you'd be hard pressed to find a better GM in the last 2-3 years. he should be proud for understanding he was making bad picks, taking a year to correct it,and it's been great ever since. I'm also glad Lurie gave him that opportunity instead of firing him. This is the culture we have and why I want players that fit the mold. I used to bash Howie alot, there is little I can find now. i could nitpick, but relly if you get to that point you're in pretty good hands

I expect better passing... it's a passing league.  When KC needed to convert, they executed their passes.  The Eagles did for the most part all year.

This is a unique situation for the Eagles.   Supposed franchise QBs have not had the receivers here to where it was set up long term.

We have " supposedly " the 2nd best player in the NFL playing QB for us...  but instead of James Thrash,  Calvin Williams,  John Hightower....  we have AJ , Smith and Goedert...3 pro bowl level players ... all locked in.

Man if you could add the Donte Stalworth, Eric Decker, Brandon Stokley type 4th weapon to the already elite WRs... now you are talking.   Giving the 2nd best player in the league the tools to break all kinds of records.   And set that up ....LONG TERM!

Man you can focus everything else on the defense after that.   Build it up like the Colts, Saints and Pats did...even the Packers... knowing the offense was locked in.   Imagine the free agents you could sign wanting to play opposite that offense?  They know they could make one play on defense and win the game...absolutely no pressure.

I can't eliminate Njigba. He is actually perfect for this offense. i said before he reminds me of JJ.He would be a KA slot guy,but he can play outside if you need him to. SO for me the 3 choices for first pick would be Van Ness, Njigba or either top OT(Paris or Skoronski) I would be fine with any of them. Some nice CB's there also,I just don't see Howie taking one first. I suspect we take all 3 of those positions and add a DT somewhere. if we can trade back twice and still get some of them, all the better

2 more weeks.   I don't see any trades prior to the draft with us this year...but our 10th spot is definitely interesting.  So is 30... if a team wants that last QB to have a 5th year option.

Could possibly go with vet AJ type trade.

But possibly don’t need to actually get on the clock this time.

Two I've heard.  That pass rusher from Carolina you mentioned a lot last year...and Devon White.
