Agreed. I like the Pitt RB now(round 3). I was just curious about the WR because we need young guys replaced on the lines soon. I still believe there is some money left for some post draft fill ins. There are other WR's around for the slot and most would still be an upgrade over Quez

See ... you are just looking to upgrade over Quez... ok, that's fine.  I'm talking about another guy with impact.   Guy that not only impacts when on with the other two...but also step in if one is on the bench.

I think you are so focused in just bringing in as many guys trying to make it look on paper that everything was addressed.

I'm just looking for some impact. I don't need all the holes filled with the draft.

Well I mentioned Zay Flowers. He would make an impact at less draft capital(aka trade back the 10). IDK if he falls to 30 but that is possible. IDK how badly teams value WR's in this draft. We know RB's will be abused as far as draft position. Great line draft so I think taking 1 offense weapon would be a good idea. a "Complete the receiving offense" move. Just don't know where that comes. I agree with you though,we can't afford to reach. Most mocks I have seen show us trading back at 30 and adding some round 2 capital,so the 10 pick would be pivotal in that scenario. This is a really hard draft to gauge for me. I'm having a tough time LOL

I mean if you trade back at 10,say grab Flowers and also trade back at 30,that gives you alot of leverage to move around for who you want

But see...I just feel you look at the draft differently.   You seem so focused on filling needs.   Idk... I just want some impact. If it's 2 guys who end up being stud linemen then great...if its an impact WR...great.   if they feel two DL... two DBs...whatever.

But I'm not concerned about RB.  Flash, I want substance

It's hilarious the ignorance of some of the other teams fans with the Hurts deal.   Just can't believe the low cap hits... lol

Ok....leaving Ohio State and back to the team the website is for... the Eagles.

Adam Shefter tweeted out the cap hits for Hurts....  idk how this works but here goes...

2023 = $6.15 mil

2024 = 13.56 mil

2025 = $21.77 mil

2026 =$ 31. 77 mil

Is it possible these numbers are incentive inclusive?

I'm no college expert.   So I can't really say.  I want them to get their target.  Not to settle and not to force anything.

To me I wouldn't take the RB.   Just don’t think the position impacts the way other would.   " No Mas,now the defense has to worry about the handoff"  but in RPO that means Hurts keeps it more.  I prefer he runs less and less each year.   That's where the upgrade in weapon would have to be the 4th passing option for me.   I don't want QB draw on 3rd and 6 in the SB.  That should be a pass.

But if WR...sounds like this OSU guy is the one.

Really... no RB and no reach... I'm good with that.

Right…and thinking in a longevity based notion, just how much impact did Zeke make with Dallas?

No you're reading me wrong. In this draft there are impact players even in round 3. Round 2 has a plethora of good players,so it's really a question of how less are they than the round 1 guys? I mean you can take 1 stud or you can take 2 studs LOL.. "Impact" is all relative. Loads of nice players we can use in 2,so the scouts have to weigh the players and the FO has to decide. 2 round 1 studs or 1 round 1 stud and maybe 2/3 in round 2. it's a choice. has nothing to do with what i want

SOme round 1 "studs" will fall into 2 by virtue of teams scrambling for QB's. So early round 2 you can find round 1 guys really(where they would go if there was no Qb rush) Plus Miami losing their pick is another up. The first player in round 2 would normally be the last round 1 pick

It's options...which get spread out over 5 years.

Round 2 pick 1 would normally be a guy that had the 5th year option(ROUND 1 PICK 32),but he loses that

Making it too complicated... I just want to see some impact .

As I said there are impact players in round 2. So you can turn 3 picks in 2 rounds into 5 picks,so will be interesting to see how they approach it

We'll know in 10 days

That's pretty much every year right.

Then we can move on.   It's pretty good we got the QB contract out of the way.  The extra picks in 2024...and the cap space we still have.  I'm intrigued more about any trades and free agents they might sign.

Next week i just assume they add some talent.  I never get upset or too excited with the draft...we will draft some guys then I will read up on them.  Then I move on.

And some guys will be immediate impact players and others may take time to develop. And then others just won’t work out. Just got to give it time to see how it all plays out really.

Vikes going to drop Dalvin Cook. Be real nice addition right there.

G vs B.      RG is going to have more impact than RB.

RB should be least of anyone's concern right now.

Idk...2027 ...the cap hit on this backloaded contract is a concern... Howie stinks.    Lol.

$73 mil cap hit for the next 4 years for Hurts.    Daniel Jones like $165 mil.

Dak has 85 mil cap hit the next 2 years...he already restructured to bring it down...  lol.

But we need some realists on here... explain to us how the Eagles don't do contracts correctly.    $90 mil less on the cap... explain how that's bad?

In 2027 when Hurts gets that $50 mil salary.... raised to $80 mil signing bonus... and cap hit drops another $34 mil ... I'm sure it will be bad cap management again???

Let's count the signings from this point forward for Eagles,  Giants and Dallas.  Let's see how our bad cap management affects this.

Then maybe in 2027.. everyone on here will understand.

A 4 year project,  but well worth it if I don't have to read the ignorance of people complaining about the salary cap.

Texans supposedly open to trading down from two.

Not sure what they have to gain by BSing about taking a QB. So it’s fairly interesting little tidbit.
