Had RT as someone who can play RG as we don't know how much longer Lane will play.

OTC has us at 20 mill to play with. I don't understand how they have Hargrave as 12 mill in dead money, Seu at 7.5. WTF let them go with that kind of money owed? I understand guarantees and spreading money out. Would rather have kept and paid those players - well at least Hargrave. We have 55 mill in dead cap due to moves like this.

MJK...please.   forget " dead money"   cap space is all that matters.

Hurts just signed..highest paid player.

In the next 4 years his cap hits total 73 mil.   Daniel Jones is like $165 mil.  Dak is 85 mil the next 2 seasons...AFTER restructuring.

Please look at the big picture and stop worrying about " dead money"   its there because we didn't pay it sooner.

We have 20 mil in cap space right.   We could have eliminated 20 mil in dead money earlier ... then we would have zero cap space.   Would you prefer that.

Using the ability to create dead cap space is a tool to get players here... it's like when a rich guy buys a business.. he doesn't pay cash for it...he uses a loan so he can use cash for other stuff.

For one year we weren't able to sign guys...2021... trust that enough to where it should be obvious the guys with the pocket protectors at Novacare are pretty good.

Yeah, I’m sure the cap and dead money aren’t a factor. I’m also sure everybody expects us to field an even better team this season than last. Just like last time we went to the SB. No way the team goes downhill….just add an even more talented team to get it done now.

Idk..  which team out of the 32 signs more free agents?   Same discussion...never get an answer.

How many teams have more cap space right now?

Getting the maximum compensatory picks is accomplished how?

The word on CJ Stroud is he isn’t coachable

Cards hosting Nolan Smith. Pretty interesting. Leads to thinking they are looking to trade back, as they have the third overall pick.

DUH

If you have three teams make huge offers for Stroud…..then would you really want to trade the pick away being a QB needy team yourself?

No one wants him he is "uncoachable" remember? 🤣

By not overpaying for the guys you don't want.

If the Eagles are $20 mil under the cap... AFTER signing Hurts... bringing back Graham, Kelce and Cox for $30 mil..  keeping Bradberry and extending Slay.     Don't you think they could have kept any one of the guys they chose to let walk?

Certainly all 3 of Epps, Edwards and Sanders would be no problem at all. And still have room to squeeze in at one of if not 2 of CGJ,Hargrave and Seamulo.

It's obvious they are choosing who they want to keep right?

Idk... maybe if there is a major move for a vet you will start to see it.

I'll say it again... same thing I've said for years... all the issues with the Eagles are player selection. It's never because they couldn't afford any one player.

Bears, Panthers, Colts, Lions, Packers and Colts.

Those are the 6 teams with more cap space.

Which organization would you want to switch front offices with?

So Texans we’re heavily negotiating with the Bears for the first pick. This is all starting to really add up now.

Russell Wilson couldn’t drive in Arrowhead during the football season either.(sorry had to)

You mean that they really like only one of the QBs....so they would prefer to trade back if that one gets drafted first?

Crickets once again

https://www.espn.com/nfl/draft2023/story/_/id/36173214/2023-nfl-mock-draft-all-trades-deals-all-31-round-1-picks-aaron-rodgers-lamar-jackson-aaron-donald  Some interesting trade scenarios for us on here. We could tandem them, like the move up to 7(Tyree Wilson) from 10 and the move back from 30 picking up another round 1 next year. Very interesting to see what Howie will do

You can’t do anything yourself. Gave you the info. You just had to look it up.

Set up for next year when they want to lock in Dickerson and Smith.   Not relevant at this point.  But great planning ahead

I feel that way all the time when I give you facts to counter the theories from left field.
