Now my thoughts.... the Eagles could end up trading for a vet .. either this weekend or over the summer...etc.  but for an established top RG... maybe one they think would be an upgrade over Seamulo?   It turns out Seamulo wasn't really paid, we could have easily afforded him... I think something is up at RG and it's not Jurgens or a draft pick.

That would be slick and buck history and take a CB first. I know Howie is gun shy about DB's but Porter or Banks would be a great choice

We had Banks in on a private, and no need for Porter. I'm sure they watched the Penn State games LOL

Howie said there was a surprise coming, maybe taking a CB first is it LOL

You think he would fit the profile for a RG?

Better at G than he showed at T which is why they broke the bank replacing him. Think he could be a big time G. While having backup T capabilities.

Jonah is on his fifth year option for 12.6 mil.

Isn't he a little light for G?

I would assume they want a bigger guard.  330 or so.

So I guess this draft, with only 4 picks basically is about which 4 spots do you want to secure for the future and which ones can we "skate" on. For me the 4(no particular order) are 1)Getting Cox's heir in 2) Shoring up RG and getting lanes BU/replacement in(this can be a 2 fer player) 3)Finding a replacement for the aging Slay 4) increasing our pass rush with a disruptive edge player. On the outskirts, hanging around are, finding a better option than Quez at #3. Finding a young long term RB IF IF IF we don't have one(maybe Gains is IDK that for a fact) Getting another young Safety in place. This is how I view things and we know we can't fix everything. FOr the "outliers" they would have to be someone intensely good for me to stray from the top 4 I mentioned. Does everyone read this the same as I do? IDK about linebackers, that is my worst provisional nor how they fit into the above puzzle

I believe Dean needs to step it up this year

https://www.espn.com/college-football/player/_/id/3149687/christopher-brooks Sorry,but I still like this kid as a UDFA. I have no clue why he's not above round 5/6 He has the same qualities as some of the ranked RB's I hope we sign him. Like to see what he can do

Idk...  I'm thinking we can use a lot of improvement everywhere.  I like BPA here, just not I'm love with RB or even CB.   The lines need to get younger.  Im not just looking at 4 picks either.

We have trades,  more free agents ...etc.   lots of ways to build it...just want to see some core pieces added

I don’t love RB or CB either but if they are by far the BPA available based on our board then I think they should go for it.
