I’ve been very curious how Desai could/ will use Nolan. Seems like a clone of Reddick basically. Can Nolan and Reddick be on the field together consistently?

That was one of my first thoughts. If any time possible for both to be on the field could be till later on in second half of the season or next (2024) season. Of course that depends on Nolan's learning curve.

Also envisioning Carter & Davis side - by - side on the field.

I can't believe Smith was still there at 30

A little surprised wuss didn't get a QB, most likely NFCE basement anyhow.

Kelce chugged a beer after the Carter pick

Curious wuss took Forbes w/ Gonzales on the board

Looking at a bunch of mocks for tonight and thinking most of these players won't be there by the time we pick. After last night, anything's possible!

Yeah Nolan can play LB or edge. We can change him in/out. It opens up a plethora of play possibilities. You get Carter and Davis pulling stunts and open a big hole for Smith. I can see him maybe playing "center field" where he can fall back or spring forward. I kind of wanted Adabawore, but Smith brings more versatility. I think a CB will be in the cards tonight. The draft really did not go like I thought. Wild that Levis didn't make round 1. Every "weird" pick just made it better for us. Nolan was about where he should have been. I didn't think Carter would fall. I hope he gets his act together. As far as CB's I still like Julius Brents for us and I also believe we take an OT/G,so looking for those 2 spots tonight

Forbes is a good DB

He was there up- until a few days ago LOL IDK what caused the jump from 30 to 10????

So IMO CB,WR,OT/G. Pick 2 . CB's I like Brents,DJ Turrner, Daruis Rush,hope we can land 1 of them

Levis is till on the board,so is Hooker.

I had Ji Ayr Brown for us at 94,but now we moved that pick up 30 spots lol. I can see Howie moving back a bit from both maybe multiple times. He can turn 2 picks into 5 like magic. Compile all those late picks into 1 for a late slot WR. IMO CB and OT/G are the 2 targets. Should be another fun/interesting night

DaWand Jones and Julius Brents would be 2 terrific picks

Only thing I read about Smith was him having a pec problem. Many had him as a top 10 pick, even to us as Carter was supposed to be gone

Yesh he was kind of up and down the boards. He settled in at about 28 and was there for quite awhile. Moved up into 10/11/12 only the last 2-3 days on the concensus board. SO maybe the "heavy hitters" all moved him up. very happy with the picks,Howie got an A yesterday. get me DaWand and Brents and I will be ecstatic

BTW I also like Marvin Mims(WR) around there and he is right in range

https://www.profootballnetwork.com/elijah-higgins-wr-stanford-nfl-draft-scouting-report-2023/  Here's a round 7 pick(they say round 5 but they lie HAHAHAHA) And I know we've tried this before, but he can be a dangerous WR/TE if we put WR on the back burner. He's not in direct competition with Quez, but can be used in a rotation with him, offering us different looks for opposing defenses. He's not going to set the stat world on fire, but he would be a match-up nightmare along with Quez in rotation

Just don't see WR as big of a hole to fill as S, OT. Checking around for a hybrid CB/S and someone to learn behind Lane that can fill in as RG while learning. They're out there, but find one's that would fall to us is harder. Do we use more draft capitol to grab guys like Brian Branch, S, Alabama or Dawand Jones, OT, Ohio State?

So,those are my 3 picks(with 2 picks lol) DaWand Jones-OT/G, Mims at WR.Brents at CB

Good Morning All!

Welp, we have picks 62 and 66 tonight, Here are my thoughts:

We go for either DB (S or CB) as top priority. After that we go O-Line, Either a Center that can also play guard or a Tackle that can play at Guard, Doing a quick look at top available players, I can estimate 4 safetys and 8 CB's ranked within range for top 66, Not sure how the Eagles have these ranked and could be way off.

As for O-Line I estimate 2 centers, 3 guards and 2 tackles within the top 66 or so rankings....

So that totals like 20. I am sure one will be there at pick 62, Now, I also think we trade back with one of those picks to grab an additional 4th. We use that 4th to take a RB...

So there you have it. My opinion, which is worth didley. Also, I think GB had it right, Ham has to admit that trade with NO was worth it. I do not think he was adamant, but thought we would not grab a top talent,,,,, Now He should be on board,

Howie has his eyes on possible other team cuts after the draft,so I suspect we immediately go after those. We're super fast at signing UDFA's too

Can't do it now but will take another look at our complete roster later on as we have some guys who may be ready to take the next step. Know we still have the burner Allen at WR.

IMO a solid Slot WR is higher to me than a RB. In either case there should be FA's out there after the draft on the cheap. I think Quez is at 2 million this year? Can probably find a guy better and a tad cheaper. WR room is still weak other than the 3 starters even with the guy we already got. Mims should be around where we pick(I technically have him at 71) Better than Quez IMO,then we'd have Quez and the new guy as BU's which raises the room. JMO. Getting the 2 CB's re-signed really helped. Blank came out of nowhere so not sure S is a top priority. Finding Slays replacement may be higher for them IDK.Just guessing like you. And I really would like to get DaWand in here

Whooooo North Georgia Bulldogs oh my bad we are still the Eagles lmao…

But seriously good start bolstering the DL
