A little surprised wuss didn't get a QB, most likely NFCE basement anyhow.

QBs just aren’t all that this draft. They were pumped up and hyped….but not many takers on these guys. Panthers had to ante up to get the opportunity to take little guy first overall.

I’m expecting us to draft a RB today not sure who available though just not sure we are happy with our current RB room

Of course we aren’t happy with this weak RB room. Dalvin Cook is expected to be dropped. That should be the target.

Curious wuss took Forbes w/ Gonzales on the board

Heard rumors the G-men loved Forbes also

Levis is till on the board,so is Hooker.

Hopefully one of our division foes is dumb enough to waste a high pick on them

BTW I also like Marvin Mims(WR) around there and he is right in range

LaPorta and Meyer still options also

UDFA,small school. The talent is there, needs coaching help. Plays in or out. Quick feet, some "iffy" turn decisions, but that can be coached

Good Morning All!

Welp, we have picks 62 and 66 tonight, Here are my thoughts:

We go for either DB (S or CB) as top priority. After that we go O-Line, Either a Center that can also play guard or a Tackle that can play at Guard, Doing a quick look at top available players, I can estimate 4 safetys and 8 CB's ranked within range for top 66, Not sure how the Eagles have these ranked and could be way off.

As for O-Line I estimate 2 centers, 3 guards and 2 tackles within the top 66 or so rankings....

So that totals like 20. I am sure one will be there at pick 62, Now, I also think we trade back with one of those picks to grab an additional 4th. We use that 4th to take a RB...

So there you have it. My opinion, which is worth didley. Also, I think GB had it right, Ham has to admit that trade with NO was worth it. I do not think he was adamant, but thought we would not grab a top talent,,,,, Now He should be on board,

I stated from the beginning the trade needed to deliver a top ten pick. Got us exactly number 10. But that wasn’t good enough…which I’ve been predicting. Carter falling to 9 was just incredible luck for us. Tiny trade up and got what we needed.

Idk I do think we take a RB but heard we really like Trey Sermon

Carter falling to 9 tells me there were some GMs that have concerns.

Lets hope they are unfounded

Round 2 for a QB isn't high. Know anyone else who took a round 2 QB?

Uh we were already at 10 LOL a move up 1 was not a huge sacrifice

Can't do it now but will take another look at our complete roster later on as we have some guys who may be ready to take the next step. Know we still have the burner Allen at WR.

We brought in the guy from ATL also at WR.

But we could had DAX!!!! Instead of Carter

Gains looked good at years end, they said they wanted to get Sermon more involved, but that will still be tough with penny and Scott. I hope Sermon sees more snaps. He seems like insurance for Penny???

Nice BU to replace Pascal

Welp we have 3 young Georgia boyz on the roster besides him,so they will beat some sense into him,and you know Kelce would kick his arse if he has to

Nice BU,we need someone better than Quez. Mims fits the bill

Anyway a bit shocked Seattle didn't take Carter, but I'll take the gift. I hope he isn't another MS2

Anyway even if we take a WR,I would add this kid for nothing. No investment really, but he can sit and get better with some coaching. In/out/sweeps he's very versatile. not up against the top D's but he can learn. I'll take a flier with nothing to lose

I took a quick look and there are 15 teams that have a need at DB and some have multiple picks before Philly. Point is that there will be a DB on the board when the Eagles pick, 9 teams list OL as a need, so there may be none available at 62.

So I think we go S or CB at 62. There, you have heard it first from me!  LOL

Everybody has needs for DBs. Five starting DBs whether in Dime or Nickel.

Howie has his eyes on possible other team cuts after the draft,so I suspect we immediately go after those. We're super fast at signing UDFA's too

Right....this is why I wouldn't necessarily worry about position.   Except I do think they want to bring in another OL into the pipeline.

We can still fill holes with vets... have plenty of cap space and 2024 picks to trade.

Target your 2 players you like..  get them and move on.  Regardless of position.

OT/G,WR,CB we're going to have to do without 1 of these. So pick your poison. If I had to choose I would lose WR and hope to find a slot from another teams cuts(as much as I love WR's)

I’d say Sermon is ahead of Penny right now he spent all of last season on roster. Definitely ahead in knowing the offense just wasn’t a ton of opportunities with guys ahead of him…. Should get more chances this year though

IDK if DaWand makes it into the 60's,I doubt it,but there are guys like Mauch at T/G and I love Mims, however I believe a guy like Brents at CB would be more beneficial . "Spare" WR's and RB's will be available after team cut. Lions took Gibbs I believe,to me that means they would release either Montgomery or Swift. I would add either cheap with NP
