I’d honestly call the Lions about Swift think he would be a perfect fit for our team

I’d say Sermon is ahead of Penny right now he spent all of last season on roster. Definitely ahead in knowing the offense just wasn’t a ton of opportunities with guys ahead of him…. Should get more chances this year though

Oh not me,we went out and got both. Penny is a TOP RB if he can stay healthy. he's a beast. Just terrible luck with injuries. Sermon may be ahead of Scott IMO

Eagles just do not value RB as much as the other positions

Same with most of the league....it's the lowest paid position.

Btw... next year the hometown boy comes back to Philly.... I think people will see the position change very " SWIFT" ly... if you follow.

This year... sign Fournette cheap if needed.

They will add 2 RBs by the end of the weekend...might be 2 UDFAs.

Just by memory didn't the Lions take Gibbs at RB? If so I will add either one they cut of Swift or Montgomery

Montgomery they just signed... drafting the Alabama kid 12 ... lol.... but that tells me Swift is out.  It's his last year on his contract.

Trade him for Quez LOL

Welp we have 3 young Georgia boyz on the roster besides him,so they will beat some sense into him,and you know Kelce would kick his arse if he has to

I'm thinking Cox and Graham will keep him in line.

I stated from the beginning the trade needed to deliver a top ten pick. Got us exactly number 10. But that wasn’t good enough…which I’ve been predicting. Carter falling to 9 was just incredible luck for us. Tiny trade up and got what we needed.

So was the trade good yes or no...  if you had the opportunity to trade Carter, Dean, next year's 2nd from the Saints... for Dax Hill and next year's 4th rounder...    would you make the trade... or keep our guys and 2nd rounder?

Very simple answer here....  doesn't involve " at the time or all in 2022"  just at this present time which package would you prefer?

So "technically" what is Nolan a LB or edge? I see him at both spots depending on the board

Davis,Dean were teammates on that impressive defense

Anyway a bit shocked Seattle didn't take Carter, but I'll take the gift. I hope he isn't another MS2

What if anything is similar between Carter and MS2?

College championships?

Physical size?

Position?

Wasn't MS2 supposed to be a mid 2nd round pick... as compared to Carter being top 5?

I'm not sure I follow your line of thinking?   A reach vs a guy who fell??

OT/G,WR,CB we're going to have to do without 1 of these. So pick your poison. If I had to choose I would lose WR and hope to find a slot from another teams cuts(as much as I love WR's)

What if my poison is a TE?

So I'm wondering with the Smith pick,if we indeed use him at LB,then I can't rule out a pure edge guy. I know Howie was in love with Adabawore. I love him too,so does Ham. I mean can you imagine our defense with him added? YIKES

IDK if DaWand makes it into the 60's,I doubt it,but there are guys like Mauch at T/G and I love Mims, however I believe a guy like Brents at CB would be more beneficial . "Spare" WR's and RB's will be available after team cut. Lions took Gibbs I believe,to me that means they would release either Montgomery or Swift. I would add either cheap with NP

Again...Lions literally just signed Montgomery... Swift is the guy on the last year of his deal.

basically like running into a brick wall

Kraft about the only guy who would be around in the 60 range. I don't think he is the BPA there, but whatever

So you say this with certainty?   Last night was predictable?    I believe a few players will drop... also think good chance we trade up a few spots from 62...    get the target... then in your ideal scenario so that you can have your round 4-6 pick..maybe we trade back from 66.

In this scenario... we can move up from both original spots....62 into the 50s... and 94 maybe into the 80s or even late 70s... and still get an extra pick...or move one of the 7ths up into rounds 4-6?

Bad attitude, lazy, didnt finish the combine, whiffed his pro day. Did MS2 even play at round 2 level?

If you want to reach for TE that's fine. ,WHO is the TE you want to move up for and spend draft capital on?

Idk... perhaps one the Eagles have as a top target.    Not my job.    My point is, they should go after their target...not worry about the position at this point.  OL would be nice,  my preference... I think the RG spot could use upgrade and  the entire OL some depth...but I can't rule out a vet signing or trade.

If we are talking strictly draft choices...take your top target... doesn't matter the position.  It's a guy you want in the locker room and on the field for the next 4 years.  The guy matters, not the position.

Kraft,Kuntz,Schoonmaker are the 3 TE's that can play. Kraft round 60 somewhere(50 if you so choose),.the other 2 could be had with a trade back. I would take a chance on Schoonmaker if we did that

So that's it..  there aren't any other top TEs on the board at this point?

Or is it in your 100% all knowing ability...that we can just cross the other guys off the board because they are absolutely guaranteed to go early.   Because the draft is so predictable?

Right why if we use Nolan as a LB I can't rule out a pure edge rusher tonight

This whole board is OPINIONS,so YES that is MY OPINION. There are 33 pick before ours? There's a TE that's so good you would spend draft capital? If that is your opinion fine,I can't make that work IN MY OPINION

And my opinion... is keep the open mind... and that perhaps a few guys....that even an expert as yourself predicted to go early....that they may drop.

Then go up a few spots and get him if needed.

We're also very good at UDFA TE's so why not contunue that? If there's kid with talent you can bring along over time, then do it
