What about Greedy Williams?      No chance of playing him in any dime package?

I think he’s got a real important position to focus on already. Don’t want to overload his plate. Slay I have doubts plays every game this season. Greedy going to be needed outside. Think he’s the only real backup option for that.

Think our Oline pick can backup LT. Seems like our biggest question mark along the line.

So in games Slay plays... you don't expect Williams on the field at all.  Absolutely no chance he gets on the field as a cover man in the dime package at all?

Ian Rapoport reported on the NFL Network that Spears suffered two torn ACLs in his past. At the NFL Combine, tests revealed a full thickness cartilage loss, and no ACL in his knee. Additionally, Spears has arthritis. Rapoport said it's unclear how long he will be able to play in the NFL, and even openly wondered if Spears could be a "one-contract guy."

I liked what Spears can do. But this medical is very concerning. Thought it took him off day two consideration.

Bengals got Battle. Those guys have a sharp eye for those S.

Don't understand the negativity. Sure, I wanted a true OT, but we lost Seu and Dillard and Sneed can line up all over, which is really important. Sneed allowed 1 sack in over 500 snaps for Bama facing some of the best competition in college football. Getting the highest graded S in the nation in man coverage who had 6 INT's last yr and can line up in multiple positions is nothing to complain about.  With the loss of CJ we filled another hole as I see Brown playing this yr.

No player - rookie or vet - is perfect. they all need coaching up. This is one of - if not the - the best drafts in the league, although I wish Browns' first name wasn't Sidney.

I mean we could absolutely use 5 all pros.   What if Cincy loses Higgins and Chase?

I was more interested in a true stud 3rd WR or 2nd TE.    I'm assuming we can get depth pieces later in the offseason.   I was more looking for splash at WR/ TE.   Not just " he is a little better than Quez. We can get " a little better than Quez" with another vet later.

I wanted one too,we ran out of picks,so unless a vet shakes free things will stay as is

I mean how may teams can honestly afford to lose both there starting WRs and still be good at the position? Unless your QB is Mahomes and a younger Rodgers

Point is,what if we only lost ONE. If the guy can't draw a coverage because he is no good your top guy gets DTd and you are done. How would we do with Smith,Quez and Ward? We need that ONE BU that can still be a threat and the guy from ATL ain;t it

Like I said, there's a long way to go building this yrs' team before the season - and we have HR!

Sticking to my guns on this choice. Battle is a real football player. So I don’t hate Sidney. Almost just jumping fir joy to see any legit attempt at youth DB. Like a miracle.

Stick to whatever you want Battle is not coming here. No real players in Illinois. I will pass that on to by buddy in Edwardsville. I'm sure he was unaware of this

Hope he plays LT to back that up at least.

UH he will compete right away for RG????? SteenRex

On the shopping list - RB, CB, TE, LB, WR, P

DB was a huge need. Sydney Briwn I watched a fair amount of highlights take and write up scouting reports. Noticed him. Didn’t see him as day two.

SO don't take him as the last decent pick you have???? Think he would fall to 188? We could get a lackluster DB at 188 without a reach?? WOOOOHOOOOO!!!!

preaching for over a decade about getting S

We never had S's before??? OMG!!!! How did we defend???? CJG wasn't a S? Never had one?

Think he meant drafting S

S can tackle. Get around the blocks. Blitz. Cover.

And get blown out by lighter faster slot WR's. Pick where on the field you want to get beat

Starts at noon today but won't be watching, may tune in when our picks get near. Still remember when the draft wasn't televised, just a small paragraph of the results hidden somewhere in the sports pgs

And? We weren't taking a RB with 4 picks anyhow

Which part of "highest graded S in man coverage" didn't you get?

They had no choice because we took their guy

LOL I know,Maybe we do well with FA's??? He's still mad about the Saints pick because we didn't get his boy Dax LOL. Now he's mad because "we coulda had Battle"

Vets are all over the place.    Relax with always trying to fill each hole with the draft.    Most likely we make 3 or 4 more moves with vets before the season.

I will admit,I never heard of Steen and wanted DaWand, but I'm not the guy getting paid to make the picks
