Another Bulldog. Swift entering the last yr on his rookie contract tho, so it may be a short term deal, which I have no problem with as we simply couldn't go RB early in the draft. Wouldn't be surprised if we added another late and UDFA.

Roseman's plan appears to be to accumulate former high picks with a good pedigree who have had trouble staying healthy. The home-run upside is there behind a great offensive line for Penny or Swift to realize their potential in 2023. At the very least, operating in a committee in Philly could help keep everyone healthier during the long season.                                I'm fine with the acquisition. He and Penny may take turns being hurt,but 1 will be available. It's a bit of a face slap to Gains,so let's see how that goes. Swift in his last year,so will be interesting to see what he does and if we sign him to a long term after this year. Unlike Ham,I like the kid as PART of the RBBC. I don't think getting him changes that philosophy. Why change what works? Our top rate O line will keep them both/all gaining yards which is the point of it all. Yeah, I tried to keep him upbeat. It's tough I know and now back at for another month of the same. But he's not down,he's hopeful,well as much as you can expect and I dropped some loot. lets just say it was an expensive plate. I told him in 1 month I'm coming back here for his victory BBQ!!!! He looked alot better than I expected so........ yes the Ringo pick was excellent with Slay getting up in age. He's got a good school pedigree, and he has a year to learn the ropes behind 2 of the best. Hope we spot play him some this year.let him get his feet wet in the NFL. I'm fine with the Swift deal.We're giving both him and Penny the chance to revive their careers. I'm sure they appreciate that,and it may pay off at re-sign time. A little toe stepping on Gains,so I hope we don't write him out of the script,but if things go well,this could be one of the best tandems in the NFL this year. Howie is killing it. he hit the draft trifecta I was hoping he would. Very pleased. Now add some fills ins that are better than what we have and go home smiling
