McShay's just conservative. What's he ragging on - the accident? May sound rough or that I don't care - I do - but here on the cape is the 1st area I've lived in where kids don't race that I know of. Raced my Chevelle a few times amongst other dumb crap I did as a kid. It's dangerous, esp when you're "young and indestructible". Doubt all those NASCAR drivers started on tracks.

I agree.....the idea to me was I didn't want a selfish kid who was more concerned about staying out of trouble than if his people were ok.

As the details came out ... and you see the actions afterwards...you can see the kid seems all about being part of the group.    In fact, if I had to wager about any weight gain and poor pro day performance...my guess would be its due to his mind being on the accident and the teammates. 

Kid seems more of a follower than a leader.   He might be the most talented of the 4 ... but it seems he looked up to the other 3. 

Here, those 3 aren't even leaders yet.  

I don't see a cocky, lazy or selfish kid at all.   Nor a kid without remorse.

I like most of these guys. Guys that were underrated,or not used correctly. I love those guys with little chips on their shoulder who have something to prove. They work harder,try harder. Ricks was a great pick-up. Another kid that needs to "get with the program" to be successful
