I prefer Scott over Gainwell. If Sermon shows he knows his stuff he could knock Gainwell off the roster.

Scott is the highest paid RB on our roster

Scott,Gainwell,Swift,Penny,IDK if Sermon even makes the roster. I don't see a need to carry 5 RB's. I'd like to keep him(Sermon) merely as insurance for Swift and Penny,maybe tab him as a restricted on the PS? Getting Penney I figured they would work him in a bit more as they stated,but after getting Swift,that flew out the window. Maybe Sermon on ST's? IDK,will be interesting here

I wouldn’t right Sermon off Siri seems fairly high on him… good chance it’s going to be him vs Penny for the final spot and think Sermon could win that battle

No need to decide anything until final cuts.  Scott or Sermon might be moved in a trade.  Or Sermon cut? Who knows

I see Chiefs fans all over Eagles Facebook posts... man, I'm not getting why the Eagles are living rent free in their heads?

Hard to know since we have fans have seen very little of him. If Penny is healthy he can be one of the top 10 RB's. We know that is,a big IF. Sermon is great as insurance for the time being. I don't see why Penny would be in a battle for RB 4. I suspect we use them up and decide if we want to re-sign either,none or both after we win the SB(😁). I think it will be Penny,Swift and Gains in the main rotation with Scott back to his relief role . I can't complain about the moves since now Scott is the highest paid RB and we aren't paying him much. Would be nice to see Sermon step into a role. That would make our years end decision easier yet I don't see him as a big contributor. I just hope we see him more than last year. Or we could see Scott play early,then put Penny in(with a lead) for the 4th 1/4 ball stall

They know we "won" the SB. 1-2 plays would have changed the outcome and they are worried

I am actually more concerned about the 9ers than I am about KC

KC is AFC...I'm never concerned about the other conference.

Glad some Eagles showed up and gave him support - can he get on the field?

IDK,I suppose we'll carry him another year for lack of anyone better(aka coddling),but really if he wants to revive his football career he needs to concentrate on it and he doesn't seem ready to do that. I'm sure he is enjoying the Eagles paying him to run track. If I was the FO this would be the last chance I gave him-JMO and I'm sure others will disagree but that's how I feel. You should be 100% into football. If not, give us a call when your track career is over. Straight line speed is great(see Reagor). I don't care if I'm paying $20.00 a week. I'm happy he is winning his track races,but that has nothing to do with helping the Eagles. Like I said,in/out. He doesn't even play ST's(or not that I am aware of) for us so it seems pointless. I'm sure I am alone in my view,but that's fine. Maybe he has 1 last goal as a track star.but he needs to let us know

The NFL salary cap is $224.8M. Howie Roseman will spend around 2.5% of #Eagles cap at the RB position. And have a solid room.

* D'Andre Swift $1.77M
* Rashaad Penny $1.23M
* Kenny Gainwell $1.02M
* Boston Scott $1.98M pic.twitter.com/eXsYlmy2Gs

Meanwhile the Panthers paid Sanders 24.5 mill for 4 yrs

And the Lions fans are acting like experts that Swift will be a bust for us...yet they just spent 6 mil per year on Montgomery and used pick 12 on another RB.

It's ironic Detroit fans thinking they are experts.

Why are you obsessing over another teams RB's?

The entire NFL screwed up by letting the Eagles win the draft so easily - SB Nation
The Eagles made seven picks across the entire draft. Every single player was on our big board of the top 200 prospects in this class. That just shouldn’t happen — but it gets even more ludicrous from there. If you compare the Eagles’ class against the board, the team’s average pick was 75. Not only did they get seven of the best 200 players, but they actually fell inside the top 75. This is absolutely unheard of. It’s impossibly good. Yes, we’re comparing to our big board metric here — but we trust our talent evaluation. Sure, you can argue that Jalen Carter and Nolan Smith helped wreck the curve, but by comparison the Texans who took C.J. Stroud and Will Anderson Jr. in the first round (No. 8 and No. 1 on our board, respectively), took two players who weren’t in the top 200 at all, and if we intentionally break the math and count those players at a value of 200, the Texans still averaged 103 on the board — and they had one of the next best classes after Philadelphia.

Prediction: Gainwell will make Sanders look like a forgotten ho after the ride.

I wonder if Gainwell will ever rush in his whole career much more than Sanders did just last season?

We know he won't fumble as much
