Well it IS appropriate that the lion has no teeth.

Whomever wins the RG job will dictate what plays we can run. Split Zone runs can they double up with Kelce and blast that big defender out of there. Probably argue Steen is setup better on that play. I think Jurgens is setup better as the pulling G.

I’m thinking Steen might be better on the run blocking and Jurgens better pass blocking.

Was seeing Patrick Johnson played nineteen percent of the snaps. A few others like I believe Kyron Johnson played some snaps. The snap opportunity is already in place for Nolan Smith more than I had realized. Fifth of the snaps he can gobble up from the get go. Expect he’ll earn even more than just that quickly.

Sure. The issue with Shew was not that he was awful,it was that the offense wasn't a fit for him(or vice versa). Much better fit for Mar than Shew. Now I wish they would,allow garbage time play for him which we never did for Shew. I mean if you have a 41-14 lead with 3 minutes left, get Hurts out. Mar plays alot more like Hurts than Shew ever could and he can still score. Once again I'm sure this is the best Oline he will ever have in front of him

The "pros" of this are obvious. A "con" could be, I hope we have a long boring drive offense mixed in with some scoring bombs. That would reduce the defenses time on the field. As the article states it's about price. IDK that he needs to take much discount. Obviously he is not signed yet,so he must be wanting his full price. As the season nears that could come down. Not against the move,but for now,from the players view,it's too early to take a discount

Wrong guy. Pure pass rusher that is a liability against the run. Think we have that covered. More thinking bringing back Linval Joseph. He proved to be our starter. Strong against the run which has been our weakness.

Desai might bring a different approach though.

At this point, let the " experts" write their opinions.

We have a lot of bodies on the DL.  After camp and as the season and injuries play out, then we can see where the help may be needed 

Cox, Davis, Carter, Milton, Ojomo... and the Samoan dude could be very solid run stuffing.   Remember last year when we added the vets... no Carter or Ojomo yet...and Davis and Samoan dude got injured.    That's why the obvious move were the run stuffing DTs.

Let's not get ahead of ourselves yet.  Who knows what will happen.

Nobody can say anything definitely. But That player is a pass rusher only and is terrible against the run. We have pass rushers. Our problem was against the run.

They cover everybody. Specifics for us they came up clueless on this thought however. Everybody here should realize the specifics involving our team much better.

We had an all time pass rush going. Terrible against the run. Just simple basics I thought. Added Nolan in the first also.
