Sodfather interview was with ESPN. That takes me straight into the ESPN App though so I can’t give you the link.

AAAAAAND both teams played on the same field?????? We had a 10 point lead at the half?

Both teams didn’t have the same level of pass rush. One team had a QB more mobile than the other.

They both played on the same field. No denying of that. But there was a distinct advantage to the Chiefs over us in these conditions. Then you go further into that last extremely weak holding call on Bradberry to ice the game for the Chiefs.  I believe it was all deliberate on the part of the league against us.

TMZ LOL

This has nothing to do with TMZ. This is arguably the most respected groundskeeper in the league. Been doing it 80 years. He quit over what happened. The leagues Field guy overrid him to do all this he describes as stupid. Said the league’s guy” wouldn’t listen to anybody.” Sounds clear as day to be a deliberate sabotaging of the field conditions to favor KC.

If the league decided to freeze over the field to purposely make a sheet of ice to play on would that still be good? I mean both teams would be playing on the same surface. How about the league pumps in three inches of water to be played in? Both teams would play on the same field then also.  Orrrrr consider they created the fastest possible surface. Both teams would play on that same field…but we would have clearly had the advantage there.

We had a 10 point lead at the 1/2. Did they change the field at halftime???

Welp,if you want to carry on for pages you can. Nothing will be done about it,so it doesn't matter anymore. KC played on the same field. it did take away from our pass rush, even so we led at the half. We blew the second half, bad field or not, the fact remains we blew a 10 point lead. if it affected our pass rush we would have been down at 1/2 time

So ramble on all you want,it's not going to change anything. Just maintain that 10 point lead and you can absorb a few bad calls. We blew the second half and gave the game away-period

Not period at all. Overcame clear tampering by the league to be right in the game with KC. They were forced to kick a field goal on this sabotaged playing surface to favor them. But refs were told to give KC the win and called a  ticky tac call on Bradberry to seal the win. That call doesn’t happen? Believe most believe Hurts takes the game to OT to say the least. They robbed us of the opportunity to tie or win at the end.

We got the ball first to start the game, right? So the Chiefs got the ball to start the second half. That alone would give us a potential 7 point first half advantage that evens out to the Chiefs getting the ball first in the second half to get 7 points back. That’s just football 101 the reasoning behind that whole coin toss situation to start games.

Coin toss. Chiefs got the ball to start the second half. How football works.

Chiefs won the coin toss. Deferred. Like most teams prefer. Exactly for the reasoning of how things played out.

We had the ball first to start the game. That’s an advantage for us to have a lead in the first half, no?

Chiefs got the ball to start the second half. That’s an advantage to them to score more in the second half, no?

Such fundamental football knowledge here. Every single game they start with a coin toss for a reason.

2 facts...

1.  Field sucked... league's fault.

2.  Both teams played on it.

Yes, it was clear advantage to both offenses.    Similar to them letting all the holding go when we beat New England.

While BOTH teams play under same circumstances... it was to the disadvantage of the team that had the superior DL. .. us!

BOTH are facts.

It's done,  the subtle complaints were made, the league addressing it absolutely means it was an issue.

Yet there were opportunities for us to not make mistakes ... we did, we lost.

Move on.  Let's win this year... trust me if we get back to the Superbowl...the field will be in better condition. 💯

In baseball... you have a 50 minute rain delay after 4 innings...  BOTH teams have to deal with it right?

Yet if one team has the dominant starting pitcher.. it has more of an effect since there will be a new pitcher.

So... there was a clear advantage...regardless if BOTH teams play under the same conditions.

Similar to the Superbowl.

I’m excited to see Jalen Carter. I have some pretty rare expectations with this kid. Very interested to see him right from the start. TC and PS games. A player that possess his measurable size, strength and quickness. He’s going to be tested! I’d expect in much more a way than he has before.

Acts of nature…that’s part of the game. Acts of the commish office and league business….not seen the same to me. One we all report to

The league being forced to address it…but just whitewashing. That’s what’s happening.

  • Author

League basically trying to kill the question about field conditions by taking a hardline BS stance.

Really surprised me we wasted an official roster spot on a RB. Could Trey Sermon step up to the number two role to compliment Swift?

  • Author

Ben Johnson(not to be confused with our OC Brian Johnson) for the Lions doesn’t really run the same offense scheme we do. Is Swift an even better fit for this O? Will note that Penny seemed to jump for the fit and opportunity.
