So the rumor is that the team selected for Hard Knocks hasn’t been announced yet because it will be after the league votes for the new owner of the Commanders…and will be them.

Dan Snyder lightened his punishment by threatening releasing all kinds of embarrassing things he dug up on everybody. Referred to as the Blackmail PowerPoint. Feels likely all that will be coming out before too long.

Could the Eagles go eighty yards on just the QB up the gut Jumbo sneak single play being utilized?

Not really Siri there much. Maybe Siri was being hamstrung by Rosie…we don’t really know. But appeared to be Steichen and Johnson that setup the O for success.

So Siri doesn't get credit for offensive philosophy...  yet he decides the style of defense?

Obviously you missed the whole story about Fangio was going to take the DC job here except for the tampering stink scandal situation he wanted to avoid being around. So we swapped picks with Zona instead of getting our guy running the D.

What did Arizona tampering with Gannon have to do with Fangio?

The Eagles still could have gotten the draft compensation due to the Cards not following the proper procedures.  Hiring Fangio the next day wouldn't have prevented that.

When are you basing your results? I want them now. This season…and the next few seasons. I don’t see Fangio’s age being a negative factor there. Desai needs on the job training experience. I don’t want to watch him learn the hard ways heavily the next three years.

Fangio all but admitted he was going to take the DC job here if not for the scandal. Drove him to his second choice of Miami.

What " scandal"   ... Gannon was head coach on Feb 14....he was gone... Feb 15 he could have been hired here.  He chose Miami.

AZ didn't follow procedure because the guy that knew Gannon didn't have the AZ job in time.   They didn't initiate talks with Gannon early enough.   It was a technicality.

Nothing would change after Gannon got hired... there was no scandal... it was an error by AZ that got us the pick swap.    The DC job was still here for Fangio to take.  He wanted Miami.

Being a terrific defensive mind doesn’t make you a fantastic HC. Sorry you can’t see the difference. He’s a DC. Nothing wrong with that. Don’t even think his tenure as a HC failing was even all his fault. But he had a job with us last season. D looked pretty good for most of the season. Big jump from the season before he got here…that’s for sure.

Again....the crap schedule fits your narrative when you want to blame Howie or Gannon or anyone else...... yet Hurts and Fangio all of a sudden get credit.

The D isn't going to look or be as statistically good this year....not due to Gannon, Fangio, Desai or Patricia...  but simply due to the difference in schedule.

There was a post going around about " narcissists and the signs to watch or them"    I was cracking up with all the signs.   Lol.

Losing the Pro Bowl RB does suggest a need to pass more. Goedert is the second key to the O beyond QB1. His health this season is critical to being upper tier statistically.

The need to pass more will be dictated by the legit schedule this year.   Sanders is a zero factor, never was and never will be.

Very interesting read.

Fangio traveled last year...after the regular season ended some of his coaching friends on the Eagles called him.    He signed a 2 week contract to help prepare Steichen and the offense for the Chiefs.

Yet the article written the morning of the Superbowl...already stated that after the game he was going to be the Miami DC.

Very interesting that he had zero input with our defense.  Yet apparently some think he did.

How many Qbs throw for 5000 yards this year????     I bet we get a couple.

Hurts should break Wentz's team record for yards.    I expect a lot of passing.

College turning out a boatload of fine receivers(and TE's)

IDK why you see the running game as being LESS before you even see what we do. If Penny is healthy he will destroy alot of defenses. Sanders was taken OFF the field on 3rd downs, yet you want to pin the task at hand on Scott LOL Unreal

Then why are you always playing "we should done this gotten this guy, made this deal. Thats all hindsight. You knew Hurts was a star the moment we drafted him? BS  You called Reagor, terrific!!! You no more clairvoyant than anyone else

Keep searching the internet…it’s there. Fangio didn’t want to get caught up in all the crap…so he bailed and took the clean Phins job.

I’m guessing the new young players, Desai and the schedule will make a noticeable difference statistically. I realize it isn’t exactly an apples to apples comparison. Not even really fair. But won’t change all these fans that swear by stats telling the whole story. One guy here believes they are everything. Tons of fans rely way to heavily on stats though. So they are going to see an opportunity to bring back Gannon that had the second ranked D last season…though the guru Fangio won’t come back with him this time….or Desai fielding the middle of the road D? Remember this isn’t about what I want or prefer…this is Rosie choice. You know….the guy that loves Gannon so much. Offered him more than HC money to stay on..,only would have been one season more. Rosie will jump at the opportunity to ditch Desai and bring back Gannon as DC. Use the stats as the weapon to easily justify the move.

I didn’t say Hurts was such a stud draft pick. But I clearly was the first around here to see how special he was going to become. While the talk here was all about loading up draft picks to make a run at one of those weak QBs this past draft….I was talking about how he would get paid if he was in the running for MVP.  That wasn’t hindsight.

We look to be using the RB room to just try and stay on schedule for down and distance. Not going to dominate rushing like we did with Sanders last year. So Hurts will be exposed more passing this season.

What crap would he have gotten into?   The Eagles didn't do anything wrong.   Did Desai get involved in any crap?  The crap was in AZ?

 Nobody wants Gannon back....move on.

Could have been Eagles DC.... if Gannon was contacted at the beginning of the process ( which he needed to be ...legally)   The idea is that the job opening would have been there a couple of weeks before if Gannon was offered the job in AZ sooner.

There was no scandal in Philly.   The Eagles did nothing wrong.   The idea behind Fangio being DC here is the Eagles looking for a new DC sooner.  Prior to him taking the job in Miami.

Dominated rushing more in 2021...when Sanders had a lesser role...again...he has no impact.   It's fairly obvious when you don't look at it from a Sanders stan prospective.

if it weren’t for the tampering situation with the Arizona Cardinals hiring former Eagles defensive coordinator Jonathan Gannon, Fangio may have accepted Philadelphia’s offer rather than Miami’s
