Think I’d rather be paying Dalvin Cook the 10 mil than paying it to Brandon Brooks.

Women’s World Cup kicking off with a huge matchup! Let’s go USA!

Piss on them. I hope they  lose 107-0 and don't come back

I dont see teams running down the road to get Cook. He's been sitting awhile now. His "Im gonna set the market" will ensure he stays seated

The whole starting Oline showed up in matching plaid overalls(for sale now)….guess there is no competition for any starting role at RG.

Joe Burrow was carted off today.  Calf Injury

I hold my breath with every Eagles practice

Don’t wish any real big talents to go down. Not the way you want to have to win it. I don’t think this Burrow injury is anything too severe. But I got thinking about how some guys…like a LaDanian Tomlinson…were worth the price of admission type talents. Not a fan of their team but appreciating a guy was that special. I have such high esteem for Burrow. Thinking he will be the guy in our way this year…in the Big One. But he’s kind of just real solid in all areas. Which has always worked incredible for him. He’s the most consistent guy for an O to build itself around. But I don’t have that great yearning desire to need to watch him play live. Not running to the ticket booth over his star power.

WHO is an interesting addition,he got a name?

Guess he didn’t end up getting signed after all. Sorry, seemed like an interesting guy to easily decide to bring in. Let me look again….thought he was being added.

Barnett was at practice…labeled limited …whatever that means. But they worked out a restructure with him. I’ve been fairly harsh on him. But this is a really good deal. He’s still very young. Hard to believe he’s been here so long.  But his new deal offers max of 6 mil. Cheap for experienced DE. What I previously was harsh on him about isn’t going to be his primary role however now. He will be in as a more stout run defender and to contain the edge…defender. Think he maybe fits this role better than the other Edge players. So a different complimentary rotation piece. As long as he cuts down on untimely bone headed mistakes. Not looking for top pick output anymore. Not getting extreme like one media source trying to reach and compare his career to BG(late bloom…to Eagles Hall…blah blah).

So... " the guy that stood in our way to win the big one"  but not someone you want to rush to go see live?

The RB by committee = the ones that stand in your way of winning it all.

The stud RB = one you want to go rush to see play live.

I think it why most people are starting to realize that the committee is the way to go.   They prefer to win.    Substance over flash.

I think this idea of rushing out to buy a ticket to see one athlete... it's a 1950s attitude of a 7 year old.  Today people prefer to win.   They prefer the other team to have the player they need to see live.

Parsons claims they are the best team in the NFC 🤣

Why I refuse to pay $1,000 to see a game, why I would never pay multiple thousands to see Taylor Swift(or anyone else for that matter) The people that DO pay are doctors or lawyers,to hell with the "regular guy". And while I love my team and DO buy things from time to time, the prices are so ridiculous they are now ludicrous. Yeah I'm old school where players were paid $300.00 a game. The blue collar working class was left behind by the money hungry NFL(and NBA,NHLetc). Even college games are becoming expensive. To take "the family" to a game now requires a bank loan. Pathetic

Worth the price of admission to me is a special talent athlete. You don’t have to be seven years old to want to go see Jordan play.

I don't need to see Jordan play... at 60 years old, he doesn't have the elite level talent like he did before

But my overall point.... you let those guys make their money on other teams.  They can have the flash... for the Eagles, more important to win.

Our QB1 is worth the price of admission.  Almost always ready to put on a show. Never know what he’s going to do next…but win.

The Answer was such a unique elite athlete. Allen Iverson was just absolutely incredible to watch.

Might be about money. He’s received a raise every year. So he’s likely looking for 2 mil. Same Edmunds is getting paid.

Howie freed up loot.I believe it's 15 mil now. I suspect another SB run attempt and the 15 would be a nice buffer to replace any players that went down that needed replacing.

And I'm sorry, but I still believe we can/should woulda coulda get better WR BU's. If either AJ or Smith went down,I can see Howie spending some of that 15 mil
