I say keep the silver pants with the green stripes on them. Just continue that up top with all Silver continuing the green stripe…with a green bird/football arm logo.

Don't care,he's not on my team. Good riddance

Really not a fan of the city

https://bleacherreport.com/articles/10084486-expectations-for-jalen-carter-eagles-top-rookies-in-preseason   Also looking forward to seeing who grabs the slot spot,or if there is a rotation or if we possibly add another WR soon(15 million free cap left I believe). Don't need an expensive guy,or maybe not seeing camp we may not need one at all,but I still feel the room could use an upgrade and we'll see if anyone makes a bad cut we can snag. Now that Quez has competition,if he wins the slot spot,he should be alot better. Also interested in seeing some others progress, like Calcaterra and Sermon(after so long I would like to SEE this guy as a fan because it's hard to judge players you don't see). This could be the most fun team we've ever gotten to see in recent team history. The SB team was a blast because "no names" and less than top guys busted arse and it was fun to see. The Philly Special was just that,as special as it comes. Even so,overall I think this team could be more fun to watch. We always had trouble playing from behind, but this team should be able to rally if they are having a bad game. We can rotate the guys out that are having said bad game and try other guys. Everyone has a bad game, but now we can cover that. A rematch with KC would suit me fine

Yeah - Quez was really exciting in 2021 and maybe he’ll make the next step and Calcaterra, Sermon or even Tyree Jackson could be the break-out skill player this year.  We could use a young TE 2 and RB with upside so we don’t have pressure to spend a 2nd or 3rd rounder on the position next year.

Lol...look at the high paid RBs... look at the teams that can run it when it matters.  Show me where paying 11 mil for your RBs leads to team success??   Paying only one of them is absolutely stupid.

No Mas,  for the 100th time remember the Superbowl when KC won because the 7th round RB... yes Ham, he is paid like a 7th round RB.   That's why KC is good because they can use the money wisely on the positions that matter...same with the Eagles.  The Giants just paid 2 seasons worth of total RB money to one guy for one season.  Absolutely stupid in the current NFL game.  Maybe college or fantasy football...but not real life NFL football is the 11 million worth giving to any one RB.

Sounding like a hater...because you made a bad take and are trying to run with it...

So you want an Elite RB at 3mil/season? and just because the panthers gave 6mil/season doesn't mean he's the standard lmao. Sanders is playing peewee football compared to Saquan...the dude's a beast and I'm pissed he's back in the division

Also, your post in March...showing you want to sign Cook (would've been min 10mil/season) and then some washed up scrubs LOL

Didn't we win the SB with a feature back ? (Blount) his/Ajayi's physicality were the difference that year... not sure why we always bring in these injury prone/ scat backs...can't win in the playoffs without running the ball...and if your counter-argument is we have Hurts to pickup rushing duties...we won't for long if he keeps taking shots

Having an Elite / Work-horse RB is a luxury, yes. However...it becomes the difference when conditions/circumstances don't allow for efficient passing...especially when setting the tone. Chiefs - Pacheco

Rams - Akers

Bucs - Fournette / Jones

etc...

And if he learns well he could be a serious on field baller/beast. I hope he pans out and we can keep him on. Just a boatload of upside here

All those teams have/had efficient passing? So,you pay out big bucks to a "workhorse" RB,then he goes down and because you paid him alot,no money for BU's,so you have scrubs and your running game vanishes overnight making you 1 dimensional the rest of the way. Last year we totally SHUT DOWN Cook(he's a workhorse RB eh?). We blew up their running game, forced them to pass, made them 1 dimensional. I'd personally rather have options at RB that are all competent. if they figure out one guy,I can put in another and thereby I avoid being 1 dimensional. Just saying. Money vs talent. I understand your point, but I like our way better. KC has other options at RB as well and we both got to the SB with that thought(committee)

Good upside. Boatloads is tough to say in a room he shares with young Davis and Carter. Those guys have serious yacht boatloads of upside potential. But Ojomo has enough skill and size to play at this level I believe. But his ceiling is probably at backup rotational player level.

  • Author

But that’s needed. A tough bull of a player that has the measurables to back things up, Nobody getting a rest and a play off because he rotates in.

  • Author

Tough part is the numbers game. Only 53 man roster to field. This team is stacked with numbers of quality DT players.

  • Author

So gotta find a way to protect Ojomo so he can be developed.

  • Author

But he doesn’t look to flash splash plays so much. More a solid dependable relentless tough in your face type.

  • Author

Going to make guys in practice…practice hard. But not looking like he has any chance of achieving Pro Bowl levels or anything. Not a swing for the fence boom or bust type player in my eyes. A fairly safe guy to depend on improving and being coachable.

Who knows? As we can see some colleges turn out polished NFL athletes,Others do not,so who knows 2-3 years from now when he gets the same polish the others got. Georgia-linemen,Ohio state WR's. We see them consistently every year,so I have no crystal ball telling me what his potential is and neither do you. But if he is a solid BU,I'm fine with that

Jurgens playing RG is taking its toll on our second team C position. Would be a strength with him at C. Toth it sounds like is struggling mightily.
