Whole point of reps in practice and PS is to perfect timing and the progression of reads and adjustments the whole group on your side of the ball makes. So how many of those so few physical reps are being practiced incorrectly because of the mistakes coming from the C of the line? Bad snaps just obviously screw up those reps for the O and the D. Every player out there. Word is it’s more bad snaps than anybody else here is even realizing. But so much more than just snapping correctly. RBs are learning their blocking assignments too. Him screwing up his job could be messing up their development and understanding…of the correct way the O should be running. Who’s calling the blocking assignments under Toth? Kelce and Jurgens have been doing it previously. So what now? Is he even trying to do that part? Or is the O practicing very no game like conditions of the coach telling the O what the read is? Not the biggest issue. But not simulating close to real game conditions.

Ok....here is a scenario... the coach wants to run a play.   There is a bad snap.    Whistle.... " run it back"

So they run the play again.   This is why it's practice.   Again... I'm trying to understand what you are trying to say?

Is it that a professional football team that just made the Superbowl...is having their whole camp hijacked because a 4th string C is struggling.   Do we really think the guy can't do anything correctly and they consistently put him in there?  To where it paralyzes the whole team?

Really... think about what you ate saying.  These guys spend more hours doing this job, probably double than most people... you think they are so stupid as to have this occur?

1. Is your opinion this low of this organization?

2.  Do you really see things to this extreme?

Seriously...take a step back...a vacation...you see wound up too tightly here focusing on this.

I'm trying to teach my left tackle to get a good jump off the snap and the proper backpedal.     Does a bad snap matter, I'm looking at the instant move.

My WR on his release..does the snap matter?

99% of the play is the first move/ reaction... you still get those reps regardless of a bad snap.

And they can always run a play over again... it's camp/ practice.. that's why they are here.

Seriously.... think about it.

But if Toth is only making two mistakes each practice….he’s in line for a raise. Sign him for four year extension.

Again... tell me your sources.   I will ask...what portion of the camp is open to media.

Again... you make it sound like the organization are a bunch of complete idiots and would have the entire team paralyzed by one guy.   And yet it only happens to the Eagles?

This is camp... they have 90 players...that's like 40 guys that won't play.  30 with no shot at all.  They have centers come in every year with no shot to play, just camp bodies.

It's nice to be concerned... but come on now.    This is why they spend all this time.  It's not an 8 hour a day job.   These guys are obsessed with every detail.

So when the C screws up the snap. Then messes up his blocking assignment the next play. Which RB you weeding out between the two plays?

Why are there only these 2 plays?

Why do I give a crap? Kelce is my center Toth will be CUT who cares what Toth does?

What Toth is doing is how the team is practicing.

Ok... let me ask...do you think Toth has played next to Dickerson... in a situation where Dickerson could get hurt?

I'm trying to understand what you are trying to say.   You don't explain things well.   Paint a picture for us that is realistic.

Where do you see an actual 11 on 11 rep in practice where Toth is playing next to Dickerson...now translate that to Dickerson getting injured because of Toth?

Then let me ask you this... do you think the other 31 teams have 4 centers that know all the plays and assignments to where it's not an issue.

To sum up... make a point...to where the rest of us understand it... not just you.    Clarify your concern.  Then we can discuss if it's realistic.  To me... I see zero reps Dickerson will take next to Toth... unless it's hitting a sled.

So you see Kelce taking that many reps? I doubt he’s out there that much.

Problem is …this fourth string C….is taking a large share of reps. First option at C, Kelce, shouldn’t be taking many reps. Second option at C, Jurgens, is taking first team RG reps. Third option at C, Dickerson, got injured somehow…,and is taking first team LG reps. So now that I’ve laid it all out for you in such detail…maybe you can see how this fourth string C is not in fourth stringer position for reps.

So, more importantly, how's Cameron Tom doing lately? 😁

Roob really praising Josh Jobe. Said he was practicing with the first team and looked comfortable. He seems to have locked in the backup outside job. Very important depth find there.

Dean is injured. His durability is his main obstacle to overcome.

So every team has their entire camp based off of backup C performance?

You can't see where you are being just a little extreme here?

I see the first team taking their snaps together.   But again... can we discuss what " snaps" are ...during camp.

1. Whistle blows...they hit the sled

2. Whistle blows, they run through a play with no defense

3.  Whistle blows... they run a one on one play

4.  Whistle blows... they run a 7 on 7 drill.

5.  Whistle blows, they run an 11 on 11 drill.

In all of these scenarios....they run some at half speed,  limited contact.

I don't see Kelce needing to take a break too often.    Perhaps they run 5 -10 plays at full speed with contact... but probably not that much nor every day.

To me the idea is they run through warm-ups for most of the physical work... they stick with their position groups....etc.    I see most of the day being classroom, meetings etc.

Isn't there another guy or two behind Toth?    When you are there watching practice, how many Cs do you see?

How is the weather at practice?

I'm curious to all this information that you seem to know 100%.

How about Josh Andrews.... he can snap the ball.

Sounds good to me. Only addition is that Toth might actually show serviceable at G/T like he’s been mostly considered. So I’m not totally against him.

Weather is fantastic inside. But it’s outside practice tonight ….AT THE LINC!

This was the obvious position room that needed to be addressed. Rosie almost even alluded to it coming. The injury to a questionable durability guy in Dean(who I like though) ….along with Murrow reportedly stinking….made adding LB absolutely crucial. Before the first PS game we can see what position group was not addressed properly this offseason already.

Davion Taylor was dropped. I had high hopes getting his old coach in for the LBs would click for him. Clearly it didn’t.

Think the best thoughts were the trade you suggested for the Ravens LB.
