My Hurts SB jersey

Is the Hurts jersey supposed to be this upcoming season?     They wore the green vs KC.

It's not an "official" one. I posted where I got it. It was quite as bit cheaper but not "authentic"

It's "NFL licensed" made by a company called NFL Players and I got it at a place called Snipess.com 75 bucks as I recall. I just wanted white because I don't have a white one

Oh sorry the company is called ONfield and is made in Guatemala, but since they are all here now, they just brought the company with them LOL

https://snipess.com/?s=+NFL+Eagles&post_type=product  Got my white Hurts SB jersey in today(took awhile). Looks really cool!! Once the pic loads(in a year) I will post it

Here's the link where I got it,they have others too

https://www.espn.com/blog/philadelphia-eagles/post/_/id/33718/eagles-running-back-competition-will-newcomers-swift-or-penny-be-rb1 Joe remember we both discussed WR vs TE as a slot pick-up? maybe we were both wrong and these 2 RB's fill that slot rotation gap. Sure sounds like they both can do it. Those 2 with Quez and Zach should keep teams plenty busy covering the slot and of course we can run a 2 TE set also. So I'm really liking the versatility Siri has on offense. As we prep week to week he can know which slot guy would be most efficient vs any given team. There seems to be no rigid SET in the slot. We can vary this team to team and even vary it during each game

So it really just comes down to who compliments him in what situations. One High S is him. Can compliment him with box/slot S. In Two High need a guy that covers his half of the field to pair with Blankenship.

Even mentioned a play with Swift and Goedert outside….Smith and Brown inside.

Is that good... or do you think better to have one elite guy?

It's nice to have the pieces..  I'm looking at the all time offenses... seeing how they had those 4 top receiving weapons and how that helped score a ton of points.

Broncos... Thomas, Decker, Welker, Thomas

Vikings .. Moss, Carter, Carter,Jordan

Patriots... Moss, Stallworth, Welker, Coates

Packers... Jennings, Driver, Nelson ( the stud TE I forget but he got hurt)

Tampa... Evans, Godwin, Brown, Gronk

It's nice to have the depth.... I like the versatility.   But I'll never be convinced that all that would be better than another stud receiving option.

Penny could also act like a TE2. He's a big RB,send him out on a slot route, gives the defense all kinds of problems lol

I saw a media guy make a great point last week.

Rushing.. it's not dictated by the RB.  So many other factors,  OL, game situations,  opponent, score...play call...etc.   It's why you see handcuffs in fantasy and backup RBs have great runs.

But the receiving part.  Regardless of the play call... the receiver needs to go get open and catch the ball.   They need to win battles or someone else gets the target.   You can't fake that.  The top WRs are always the top WRs.

You give me 4 stud receiving options,  it's hard for you to stop me in ANY circumstance.

Not really...come on now.   You gotta run a route and catch the ball.    Having size doesn't mean you can do the job.

Welp, just more looks we can put on the field, keeps the D coordinator hopping. Zaccheus lit Quez's jock on fire. I was happy to see some competition come in for him. he has to up his game or lose out to Zach,or both can work in rotations along with the RB's from the slot of TE2. IDK who TE2 is right now. Hoping calcaterra can make the leap. Right now I suppose it's Stoll

Woody and I used to disagree all the time on this.   He just looked at size... i look at the skill set.   Westbrook and Sproles for example.. both excellent short yardage RBs.   They had a nose for the 1st down.

Fast doesn't necessarily equal ability to run a route.   Size doesn't necessarily equal ability to break tackles or block.

Right now you add in catching RB's who can run routes, I mean actual WR routes not the bubble screens,Swift is great at that,Penny is "OK" but his size is a big plus. Pop Penny over the middle and if Hurts hits him he will be tough to stop

Gronk wasn't fast, but look at the damage he could do. I am fairly anxious to see Waller with the Gnats now,he could have a great year. I like him far better than Engram

I used to try to explain this to my dad in drag racing. The faster car doesn't win,the QUICKER one does. He never could get it,I tried so many times LOL

Why will Penny be tough to stop?   Was Larry Zsonka or Christian Okoye tough to stop in the passing game?

You need skills... not just height and weight.

Nutn to answer your question(since I did not) I like the committe approach better. of course the better committee you have the better it works, but I dont like relying on one 3 down RB.if they figure that guy out, your running game is crap. Like when we shut down Cook and Henry. When we did that we took away 35% of their offense

He can catch. Seattle didn't exploit that much,I hope we DO. He's not going on a 40 yard route, but he can run 15 yarders
