You guys eat up all these stories in the offseason when a guy is doing everything possible to better his game. Working out with a specialist coach and so on....

I thought having a kid quashed all that?

Why was Zach Ertz having such a huge drop off in production? That doesn’t seem very obvious to anyone else but me either, right?

Welp, thats it then..................if you sign with the Eagles, you must be sterilized before camp starts(I wouldn't sign here either)

Exactly

Ham, I am sure this comes into play, but there is still no excuses for his bad decision making or staring down WR's. Maybe he is holding onto the ball longer to make something happen, so I will let that slide... This week he has most of his O-Line back. Sanders will be back also. So If he plays great I will say maybe there is more truth to what you wrote above. But if the same crap keeps happening, we have to agree he needs to take a huge look in the Mirror.

Everyone has a bad game or two. But 6-7?

How many of those games has he had 10 offensive players in the same place though?

Then why do it if you are planning a kid? Not trying to be a jerk, but this makes zero sense to me.If that was the case we better use our #1 draft pick on a QB EVERY year, just in case one becomes a parent. It would be smart business

Ertz- Agreed there is a production drop. 1)Had no Oline(and still may not),so the threat of the run was nil or at least reduced, especially without Sanders which means they could pull 2 people to cover him. 2) Ertz played better with Goedert, he has been out. 3) despite liking our WR's, and feeling they have upside, to this point they really scare noone, once again leaving more people to cover Ertz . Perhaps this all changes (I hope so) in a week IDK.We have a boatload of issues right now. It's difficult to put them all out there.Djax/Alshon was a waste of money. I know hindsight, Goodwin opted out,so I have no clue how he would perform here.Ertz may not be playing his best either trying to score a trade and a bigger paycheck.I can't read his mind

As opposed to the dominant WRs of 2019 taking all the attention off Ertz? Or the unstoppable rushing attack of 2018 that took all the attention away from Ertz?

Ertz was just getting attention now in coverage. That never happened before? LOL hilarious.... so wrong

Ertz was getting attention in coverage last year,  as our WR corps were getting depleted.  I don't remember many double teams while we had 3 WR sets and Alshon, Smith and Agholor next to him.  Nothing to do with his contract like you are trying to get to. He doesn't function well in 2 TE sets with Dionte Burnette types on the outside.

Brady had his first kid in 2007... check out his career up until that year.  Not sure,  but I will go out on a limb... adding Moss, Stallworth and Welker was a bigger factor?

You can say the same for every team in the league this year. the virus alone has made sure of that. Find me a team that has not been hit with multiple injuries on offense.

So all of you that believe that Wentz had his most productive offseason go ahead and post about it now. Please explain why you believe this happened.

So... Steelers, Baltimore and Cincy were bad games??????

BTW... the OL is Dillard, Semaulo, Kelce, Brooks and Lane ..... we have Kelce and maybe Lane.. most of the OL is not coming back.   The issue with us here as fans, we get used to having 2nd stringers in there that they seem like starters.    Fulgham is already hall of fame, and Scott seems like a borderline pro bowl.   This is the stuff I am saying needs to change, i'm tired of getting used to 2nd stringers and making it seem like we have good starters in there.   " Not bad"  is still not good...lol.

We shall see... 2nd half of the season coming up now, we are in a good spot to get these young kids some meaningful reps down a homestretch of what should be a playoff run.    That's a great thing to build upon for next year.  Then they get a full offseason to work with a guy who will no longer be a new parent at QB.   Barring any of them becoming new parents themselves, it should mean improvement.

So you think tossing 2 interceptions is a good game? Seriously? You have low expectations then. Tennessee, La Rams, NO, Seattle all had at least 6 players placed on IR this season. Baltimore had 10. Yet all seem to be able to get past it. You don't see their QB toss 2 INTs over half the games they play? Losing players does not give any QB excuses for bad decisions every week. Maybe if you are a rookie or only played for a couple years. This is year 5 for Wentz. Stuff he is doing are what you would expect a rookie to do, not a veteran.

I mean liking guys and being used to them are completely different. Definitely not thinking Scott is a pro bowler or remotely even close. Fulgham think at least deserves some hype believe he is has the best WR since week 4 in terms of yards and TDs(he might be behind devante Adams now ) still first Eagles WR to have what 70 yards in a row for 5 weeks. He having the best start to his eagle career since TO. If he is my 2nd stringer yup happy getting used him over what our starters have done last 3 years at WR.(actually longer since well guess Maclin/Djac under Kelly or TO)

As for the OL we are getting healthy won’t get brooks back but will have 4/5 starters on the OL. Yes Dillard was the penciled in starter but we have no clue what he is or even if he is better then JP or Mailata.

Agree BG!  It can be argued that losing Dillard actually was a good thing. Mailata has been a pleasant surprise and allot of us think he may well be the future at LT.

Also, there are very few O-Lines intact around the league. Having 4 of 5 is probably as good as every other team this year...

I wouldn’t go all that far just think Dillard is unknown. The one good aspect of losing him is we got a chance to see Mailata though. Should give for a great competition at the position next year

It’s the getting back to 4/5ths still right now Semaulo just went in the 21 day window to return don’t think he plays vs Giants but I she not heard anything.

Lane how is the ankle said all he needs is rest has had what 2-3 weeks now hopefully he is good.

Need to get out of Giants game with no injuries and we might actually have 4/5ths of our OL starting

Well, Dillard should be trying to bulk up while on IR. From what I hear that was his biggest issue?

"played 30 snaps against the Cowboys, made four tackles, dropped an interception and allowed just one completed pass.

And he's still never been on an NFL roster.

Michael Jacquet.”

Can you bulk up much more then 6’5 330 that a big guy. He is definitely more a finesse pass blocker over a power blocker but you have to know those things when you draft a guy

How can he have played 30 snaps if he wasn't on a roster? Explain Ricky.....

He was a PS call up so technically he has not been on an NFL active roster would be my guess

Welp let’s see if the strong second half of the year trend continues with Doug. Seems to always get the team playing strong and well to finish the year.

Cant say it’s the worst thing in the world either though get healthy get hot as the right time no saying what can happen if we make the playoffs
