Seems like your explanation shows exactly when the Pacheco runs flipped the game. Along with the shank punt. Those two runs by Pacheco made the D have to play the run much more honest.

Opened things up even more for Mahomes…making our D powerless.

More players still moving around and changing teams, maybe another shakes free we can use. Howie even finds players after the season starts,so let's see who breaks loose(if anyone). I did like Hams suggestion for grabbing Queen(if he fits here). He's young and a decent contract (3-4 years) for a 2 pick could help that position for a few years. Maybe it's time to buck history and actually invest in that position and that is a good way to do it IMO

Wentz is a GOAT for this

Yeah,I still want to see some come from behind wins. We don't respond well when we get behind. Maybe Siri panics, but the wheels come off easily. I hope this tougher schedule fixes that issue because we're not going to lead in alot of these games, the wins will have to come in the 4th

Jacksonville and Indy were two excellent come from behind wins.

In order to have those, we need to get behind...

For me, it's more so of not being tested due to schedule.   That's why I'm excited for this season.   Probably the hardest schedule in a very long time.. which makes for great football.

Yeah 2 real powerhouses LOL. Although I suspect Jax will make a little noise this year

His runs didn't flip anything.     That's exactly what my post was showing.  On 3 of the 4 drives for KC ... he had 2 sets of back to back runs.  9 yards and 20 yards. Didn't get anything on a key 3rd down.   The 3rd drive he got 1 yard on 1st carry.   Mahomes got the TD.

The 4th drive.... he has 3, 2,10 and2 yards.   One carry on 1st down for 10 yards.

Mahomes made all the conversions.   He was basically flawless when you consider his only miss was followed by a TD pass on the next play.

2 carries for 9 yards... opened up nothing.

1 carry for 1 yard..opened up nothing.   The 2 carries for 20 yards was early in one of the drives...  9 plays after that weren't all impacted by that.  Mahomes carried them.

Should be illegal to put a great helmet like that over a disgusting jersey.

So after Pacheco effected the D by gashing with a run or two …things opened up for Mahomes even easier.

Of course Mahomes carried them. But having to respect the run made a huge difference.

I think you guys are dreaming if you think Queen will be traded.  Baltimore loaded up...they can let him play the last year, either keep him or get the comp pick.

I have some relatives and friends from that area, they were laughing at the idea of him getting traded a few months ago.

Foles right there behind with Jacksonville and Chicago.

I said Jax and Indy were 2 excellent come from behind wins.

If you were looking for " powerhouses"  you weren't going to find them on the schedule last year...  that's why they didn't fall behind much.  And why it was harder to find the come from behind win that you are looking for.

The gashing of 2 runs for 9 yards?  The gashing of a 1 yard run?

Do you actually pay attention to the facts...or does the narcissisim prevent that?

Again... 2 carries 9 yards... one carry one yard... where does this respect need to come from.  McKinnon was on the field just as much... you should rewatch the game.

Let’s actually deal with the truth and fact of the game that actually played out. Pacheco ran for short gain on their first drive of the game. Pass to Kelce for 8 yard first down conversion. Then Mahomes ran for 8 yards. Then Pacheco gashed us for 24 yards. Then TD strike to Kelce for their first TD. Clearly see how rushing helped open up Kelce. That busted run early made the D job much more difficult clearly. Gannon should have been afforded to practically pin ears back focusing on pass D. Gannon’s run D was suspect all season. If you ever actually played football you’d understand the conflict the defenders are put in when they have to respect the run…while dealing with the best TE. Or any especially inside receiving options.

So then after that…KC went with the receiving RB in McKinnon the next drives that ended in missed field goal and punt.

The pass catching back in…we could play pass…D managed decent. Almost only stops the D came up with.

Boy isn't that the truth!

The early busted run by Pacheco had an effect on the game. Part maybe even if it was just mentally our D understanding how poorly they had defended the run most of the season. All that was needed was to affect our LBs to hesitate enough forced to respect the run. SB…football at the highest level here…on a field at the lowest level of quality.

After the two drives KC didn’t score then: they start their TD drive with? Surprise…Pacheco 7 yards. Then Pacheco again..short gain. McKinnon comes in…but they hand off to him…on the short yardage third down conversion. 14 yard gashing run. Guess what happened next? Yep…pass to Kelce. Then several runs(by different players including a Mahomes dash). Finished by? Pacheco TD run.

Next drive pass to Kelce. Run by Pacheco for 9 and then another for 11. This drive JuJu is targeted several times resulting in a TD.

You can keep trying to force some label on me just because I know what I’m talking about. But if you pay attention enough and listen ….I’ll teach you some things about football here.

Just broke down in as basic of terms possible to be understood. Plain as day what happened. The balance of rushing the ball threatened our D enough our guys had to respect it. Because their running game was working. That conflicted our guys enough to make our D look foolish and impotent.
