It’s like 2018 all over again. Just didn’t appreciate what all those RBs accomplished that year. Then went super cheap and the position fell off hard.

Penny averaged 5.7 YPC Sanders couldn't do that

So 1 long running play did us in? We're in HUGE trouble then. Despite that "romp" he was mediocre at best after that?

Go back and read my entire game break down. You missed all that!

Isn't that true for any game with any team and what all teams try to do???? Isn't establish the run like the #1 goal of every team every week???

It’s the balance of keeping the opponent on their toes. So they can’t T off. Do it seems you do get it after all. Half of it. It wasn’t just killing us with the run game. It was how that opened up the passes to the TE and Slot.

IDC about your breakdown 75 yards is NOT BEING GASHED by a RB. if 75 yards is gashed we get gashed every week

2nd 1/2 outcoached and outplayed, has nothing to do with Pacheco which was your supposed point

Anyway if you call a 24 yard rush, with what, 75 yards total being GASHED I have swamp land for you. 210 yards would be gashing not 75 LOL

We were the rushing team. They were the passing team. They had a couple other guys run also. But those few successful rushes each successful drive for them is what worked. Split Gannon’s D in half. Made it feel like the LB and S had to cover 60 yards wide and long.

Just an assumption, but once again(and you have no way of knowing this other than conjecture) you're changing the subject we were talking about the KC RB. And if Sanders got hurt no team would sign him to the big contract would they? And if no team signed him to the big contract how would that affect the comp pick?

Sanders did get hurt. Did you forget?

Obviously Seattle and Carroll are great at running the ball. Every guy seems to rock it there.

That 24 yard rush to start the game felt like a gash to me.

https://sportsdata.usatoday.com/super-bowl-57  Hurts ran the ball so our RB's didn't get those touches. IDK that Sanders would have changed a thing

SO why would we use him???

Whatever you wish to call the nice gain by Pacheco to start that game….it clearly showed us we needed to respect their rushing game. The plan had to be focus on stopping Mahomes passing. So having the LBs have to ‘Read’….was the split second Kelce needed.

Yet even with the tush push first downs we couldn't beat them

He got a total of 52 yards after that ONE rush. Maybe stopping the run was what killed us?

It was plenty enough to make our defenders conflicted fir half a heartbeat not knowing pass or run. No insane rushing yardage total in the game. Not anything I said. But that was a large amount and very effective rushing for them. They throw. So any balance is huge. We had none.

If 76 YPG is being gashed we're going to get gashed almost every week LOL

Maybe you should stop just trying to counter me…and actually read my opinion. It was the same formula every scoring drive. Needed the rushing as part of it. With just the threat of run….their passing game became wide open.

And let's not forget Mahomes was gimpy besides that

Outcoached the whole game. Only time they didn’t score was because they changed the opening formula that worked. They just went back to that and scored at will the rest of the game.

BS. Our RBs stink so bad Hurts had to carry us. The RBs were so ineffective….they started using empty backfield sets.

We led at the 1/2? Was I watching another game?
