It opened things up more to get rid of having a lame RB. Chiefs didn’t have to sweat anybody lining up back there.

SO why would we use him???

Because Siri felt he was the only real effective RB threat. So he tried to give it a go.

BS. Our RBs stink so bad Hurts had to carry us. The RBs were so ineffective….they started using empty backfield sets.

Once again you are deflecting, we weren't discussing our RBs' we were discussing pach being the game difference, try to stay on topic. Our RB's had nothing to do with his 76 HUGE yards

And mahomes had 1 leg. You play who you got

LMAO our offense was not on the field when theirs was. Our RB's had zero to do with the KC offense

I'm going to cry when we get "gashed" for 80 rushing yards in games this year. I'm out. I'm moving on to THIS year so write your 157 posts now

He got a total of 52 yards after that ONE rush. Maybe stopping the run was what killed us?

All I can say is go back and read where I broke down each drive they had.

Stop trying to gloss over what happened each play with big picture stats. What mattered is the individual plays that put together killed us.

This all started because I stated how they ran and we couldn’t. When that part should have clearly favored us instead.

He had a crucial run or two still. That one on the final drive really hurt.

You’ve never heard of the oldest strategy to beat top QBs is to keep them on the bench?

See you just can’t see how each play added up. We looked lost on D. Just sunk us.

Did the third down conversion runs hurt? Especially that third down on their own 41 on the final drive. Could have won the game right there.

Imagine Gainwell having 2 rushes for 9 yards... then Hurts goes 6 for 6 with a 14 yard scramble...   then Ham saying Gainwell was the key factor.    Lol.

That is about all Gainwell did in the game.

If the Eagles scored 7 points from their offense 1st half...    Gainwell had 5 rushes...   3, 20,2, -3 and 2.     I'm trying to see where Ham would say Gainwell set the tone.    I'm thinking he would say it was one fluke run...then he got shut down the other 4 rushes.

" we only scored 7 because we need a better RB"     same stuff with Pacheco...but " he set the tone, KC realized they needed to get him the ball"

Now if Hurts had the 2nd half like Mahomes....   " Hurts making all the plays despite nothing from Gainwell, and he didn't turn the ball over like the other QB did first half"

No, NO we lost because we got GASHED. I guess my definition of that is all wrong. Gashed would be 210 yards and 3 TD's or would that only be a "simple drubbing?" I'm new and I'm trying to get the lingo down

The 20 yard run was why we lost.  That one run set the tone.

That 24 yard run definitely set a tone of they brought that weapon to the party.

Kelce and Mahomes are arguably the best at their positions ever. They can’t ge stopped…ever.

So understanding the Mahomes to Kelce connection is what has carried that team to be contending this whole time.

Added JuJu as the second weapon

  • Author

So once you understand those most obvious facts….then you can understand what any rushing game adds to that. Kelce and Mahomes is enough to win plenty in this league…on their own offensively.

I was surprised when Pittsburgh left him walk.
