Gronk actually probably wins out though. Such a noticeable difference he made to win championships.

Fourth play they had…sure did.

I explained it and laid it out in great detail. Drive by drive. Run…then hit Kelce. Hit Kelce …then run.

And when exactly was this run...in the sequence that it set any tone?

First drive of the game…they had. Where they scored a TD.

  • Author

I just went through explaining every drive they had.

  • Author

Just go back and read my posts.

  • Author

Then they went away from the run the next two drives. Think a penalty they actually got called on one. Missed a FG. Then P.

  • Author

Then they came back to the first drive formula to start the second half.

  • Author

That’s what you missed. Watch the game again now that I explained what exactly AR got us on.

  • Author

All they had was Kelce and JuJu. So getting effective rushing threw us off.

  • Author

We had a bad run D.

  • Author

The D had many games where the run D was terrible last season. That 24 yard scamper was enough to get in all their heads again.

  • Author

Look how lost our LB and S were. That wasn’t just because of Mahomes.

  • Author

He was awesome! Don’t get that wrong.

  • Author

But the balance is what opened it up. Getting those LB reading. Had to respect the run. D was so bad at stopping the run they had to commit to it to defend it very well all season.

Saints release Coutee  4.3 speed, experienced. Age 26,966 yards when he was in Houston. Too many WR's in NO,but he would upgrade our BU in that room

I wondering why you admit to arguing against the obvious? Even worse. Only reason I had to go in such detail.

I never asked for detail, you are simply parroting what every team tries to do every game. GENIUS!!!!! 32 other coaches try to do the same things. Can we move on to THIS team now????? How long are you going to stay in lala land this month? Noone cares about your "details" and Hurts is NOT a god,he DROPPED the ball. That has zero to do with my opinion about him 3 years ago. It has ZERO to do with any line play the play before-ZERO!!!!! Just a childish, lousy example. Hurts dropped the ball that is a FACT no matter how many times you re-bronze Hurts. You put so many coats on him he can't be moved now. They always say the devil is in the details and Hurts BLEW a big possession. That's the detail you should worry about

They found a weakness and exploited it,once again like every team every week. It's not rocket science or details,it's EXECUTION. Siri got outcoached, lets hope he learned from it. Anticipate your opponents adjustments and ADJUST,then EXECUTE it's not that hard to understand. You make these players sound like lab animals. Once again like every team every week find what works and keep doing it until they stop you. Pretty simple without any details at all. We couldn't stop them from executing(obvious) or not enough to win the game and having to overcome a FREE FREE FREE 7 points didn't help at all. Hurts failed to execute the play. Questions? Moving on..........I would be interested in Coutee as a BU upgrade

Won't matter Ham,we're already doomed because Mailata got married. We're going 3-14 this year. So sad,I had high hopes too 🤔

It's not hard to see...Dickerson got married too.

But it's also easy to lay out the details...where do you think I was getting the information I was giving...right from the play by play of the Superbowl.   There is no bias to that information.   When you see KC drive the ball for 9 plays..on play 8 there is a 20 yard run on first down... then they score on a pass.   It's obvious the run didn't set anything up.  If it was a Gainwell run for 20 yards.. it was because it was set up by Hurts ...and it was just a fluke run mixes in at the time...especially with the other 4 runs being 3, -3, 2, 2.

If Mahomes would have had the more prolific stats ( but the fumble)...but Hurts had the flawless game, with the clutch 2nd half and the well timed key scrambles... with a bad ankle....  you know that spin.

The agenda is obvious.

As for our WR... been some good reports the last few days about our backup WRs.   Not sure I'm going there just yet.

It does have to do with Seumalo’s back to back mistakes. Third and one…Hurts converts…feels like he converts those at the highest rate I’ve ever witnessed. On third down…no less. But on the fumble play…Seumalo had Bolton to block. If he blocked his man…he can’t recover that fumble. Heck if he just got a finger on him he wouldn’t have scooped and scored. Took all these mistakes for that Bolton TD to occur.

Remember when the Eagles were driving vs Cleveland and the QB was 9 for 9... then the backup TE whiffs on a block... the QB was going to hit the RB coming out of the backfield for a nice setup for YAC...but he gets blindsided and ball gets lofted in the air for an INT?

Remember everyone blaming the QB there.

Hurts fumbled the ball.  Without being touched.

Until you own this ...you have Zero credibility on this board.  None.

Hurts...played well in the Superbowl...but on one play he made the biggest mistake possible...which is giving the other team the ball ( without contact) and without the ability of any of his teammates from preventing the return for a TD

This is similar to a QB throwing a short out pattern that everyone sees he shouldn't and it goes right to the CB for an easy pick 6.

Hurts has owned the mistake.   It's time everyone on here acknowledges it.

All the mistakes leading up to the moment Hurts dropped the ball are irrelevant...he dropped the ball without contact.  Fall down...do whatever,  but no excuse for handing the other team 7 free points that none of your teammates could help prevent once you drop the ball untouched.

No idea how you misread the play by play. Fourth play KC had on O he busted a 24 yard run. Then a 3 yard run. Followed by an 18 yard TD to Kelce.
