Upside for Siri is showing loyalty. Any potential coach making any decision …I would think Siri’s loyalty would be a big plus.

last pre game starters should play some.. Got to get the rust off and make some contact. Book is crap,no need for him to embarrass the other guys trying to make the team

The last preseason game is the one where starters don't play... you play the bubble guys so you see which one you want to keep or cut.

That's been the the way its been around the league since i can remember.

I wasn't against it,now look who lies HAHAHAHA His arrest concerned me and it should have concerned you too as it did most sane people until the true facts came out. So a liar calling me a liar doesn't bother me at all. he got off easy because of who he was(and you know it)

Well.. I'm a little uneasy seeing a guy on here " craving" a player.

But for future reference....I'm all in for getting the best player,  but on a trade back...this way it's noncommittal and I can never be wrong in the " I call it game"

You know some things, for sure. I just think you get excited about most any guy that pops up being available. Just suggest being a bit more judicious in your choices to got our team. That part applies more to many others you’ve gotten excited about than Keke though. Keke it was possible he could have beat out our two young completely inexperienced speed returner options in Allen and Covey. But my two cents is no big loss. Heard rumors that he isn’t real bright. So only get Go Routes and  returns from him. I’m not even confident in my opinion on choosing between the three, to be honest. I lean on the largest upside guy with the least experience. So if we brought in Keke, have to believe all these years he’s played in the NFL he’d beat Allen out today. I just lean towards believing in Allen’s potential. He hasn’t been doing football full time with the best coaches. So by choosing him….it’s mostly based on thinking with the great coaching and committing full time to the job…he could/will blossom quickly and very noticeably. Where as Keke peaked already. His best probably better than Devon’s beginning. So all I need from Devon is to show he can get past the point of being a huge liability for the week one game. Additionally Covey isn’t bad. He’s just small. Didn’t do anything special last year. But he isn’t a liability. Which is something. Obviously got a think he’ll easily grow…getting the job done growth….he always going to be tiny.

"any guy that pops up" LMAO you are the master of this BS.Anyone that comes free the Eagles MUST GO get, then you have the audacity to call ME out? You list every guy known to man. AAAAAAHAHAHAHA comical. If you had your way we would spend a zillion dollars a year on all the guys you want.Yeah Keke is so bad he was out of work for 48 hours. IDK why Miami wants to waste money on that loser. Ham knows he's peaked already(lmfao) I guess we keep Ward around even though he peaked too??? Ham call the fins and tell them how badly they blew this call

But Miami is a good fit for him. They really focused on speed WR O scheme. So being a backup there he shows much more value. Still think he is fifth WR on their depth chart..at best.

As I stated "he would be a decent BU for Smith". Did I say he would start for us(no). Is he better than the journeymen we have(yes and Miami thinks that too)

But they’ve designed everything around utilizing all their speed weaponry. Speed you just can’t teach. So having Keke could save them from completely changing their whole O.

Same as if he was a BU for Smith huh??????

We’ve chosen Covey. Rostered him and utilized him all last season. So optimistically gotta believe year two that begins to pay off. If our ST coach is any good. Which I honestly question. Can’t find a P. Those guys don’t even cost anything investment wise. Coverage units haven’t been special. Actually looked bad at times. Remember how Ellis was a mandatory addition because it was an issue. Ellis is great ST. But really thinking our ST coach needs higher numbers of ST specific players based on his talent, than quality ST coaches. He hasn’t had any returns produced on kickoffs or P. None I can recall..correct me if I’m wrong. So the only area is kicking field goals. No blocks allowed. Snaps and holds haven’t failed. Elliott has been spectacular. Elliott was already money before the ST coach arrived however. So how much credit applies to the ST coach that just inherited a great K? I believe Elliott has his own K guru he actually goes to anyway.

Why are you restating what I already said about the ST? We know Elliott is a lock, never in question. The rest of the ST looks pedestrian and that was part of my analysis that Joe asked about. Credit to the LS as well. There is no issue with the FG unit. I was talking about the punting and return game. So I guess I break it down. For me there is the FG unit and the punt/return game. Although they are both ST's I separate them, but I never stated that,so I am stating it now for future references about how I lied 🤣

Yeah I said this already that it may be time for a change LMAO,but glad you "called it"

Carr and Mahomes played today quite a bit. Yeah Joe we disagree on this every year, but I don't like treating the last pre game as a bye week. I think it would be beneficial to let the 1's play a series. Ham will be denouncing me here about "risk of injury" which is a valid point, but sucking the first 1/2 of game 1 can lose the game for you if your players are rusty. We saw evidence of this last year in the Detroit opener which we easily could have lost

I never questioned Carters ability,I was questioning his character. I don't want to start the "all prison" team here so yep,I was leary about taking him when the BS began. Regardless you or I would be in jail for leaving the scene of an accident, even for an hour. Someone lied because if they release you they want to know where you will be and he wasn't there(where he said he would be) So anyhow that is all under the bridge now,but Ham has to make a deal out of nothing,so whatever

So here is a question. Last year Sermon ran 2 snaps for us with 9.5 YPC. Seems to me that would warrant a few more snaps??? I mean until he un-proves himself with a YPC drop it would seem to me he still makes this team. He got a TD behind the JV O line and Ham is ready to toss him out(he musta peaked already with 2 snaps to his name in Philly)

The point is how is letting your 1's play the last pre game any more risk injury averse that playing them in the first pre game?. They can get hurt and be out for the season in pre 1 just as well as pre 3. I would rather have them tuned up for game 1 than rusting on the sideline

I think you didn't get all the details on Carter's situation.  There was more information that came out later....I was trying to explain that to you for a while.

Regardless....next draft just say you want a player... but on the trade back.   This way it's similar to Reagor/ JJ... and you can try to spin why you wanted Reagor over JJ... lol.

But only on the trade back ( that we know is always a guarantee to get back in the range you want)

Yes you did try. I was being more pessimistic

Oh well I never talked about JJ on a trade back,I went right for the pick LOL. He was "my boy" all along. Howie wised up .I think that was the pick when he decided "I better get some help"

Dude...I'm trying to say do what Ham does....every year he says he wants to trade back...and " this group of players"  its noncommittal and so he can spin Reagor over JJ.

" we knew one of these guys would be there"

Nope not the same at all. They loaded up a  complete speed WR scheme and setup

So he fits them four times better than us. But still will probably barely do anything

But our backup speed guy needs to do returns.

But I'm certain they took him because he was not an upgrade to their room
