Dickerson kind of reminds me of John Runyon. Both big and strong gifted players that play a bit nasty and dirty to get the job done.

Both wore the same number if I recall correctly as well

Great breakdown of S play! Sidney has this ‘tackling burst’…..to finish plays.

Him making the tackles is crucial. I think he’s just a competitive playmaker. He created tackles for a loss and finished the play making several interceptions in college. Watching him I think he also could be incredible at forcing fumbles. Would like to see Weapon X maybe get involved with this kid. Teach him as it grows to close the distance he’s tackling at….to hunt for the ball. When he’s the last man playing deep…you just make the tackle. But coming forward tackling…attack the ball. Watching his first action at this level…he’s just a bit off on completing closing in tackling. But looks like he hits the video game like…Turbo Tackle Button. Gets it done with his Tackling Burst. Let’s just assume he improves from his first action in his career to close the gap. Then it becomes a forced fumble cheat code. Tough losing Dennard. Coaches definitely matter. Bring this kid up right.

My preference was Jordan Battle drafted at S. No doubt that area, of the draft, was a sweet spot for quality S.

Just how good can this year’s draft class be?

Carter we just need to not get a blown up head and stay focused on his career. Clearly a stud!

Nolan already defying many of the negative question marks any might have considered about him. Very driven competitor! Going to be very easy guy to root for. His burst to power …..whooooaaaaaa!

Steen they labeled TRexed into mandatory G. But think he fits best at the swing backup T. Not saying he can’t play G …even. It’s a fairly high investment for that job. One guy that can capably backup Lane and Mailata is a crucial job. I’d argue the main need this offseason for the Oline would have actually been the backup swing T. Think I previously was just saying LT backup. But Driscoll and Kelly not impressing at RT much. Kelly got beat bad by some nobody kid. Driscoll I might let a bit more benefit of the doubt to. He showed ok to start his career. But his reporting of not looking great coincided with BG becoming the second team DE against him. Don’t think anybody wants that job. BG is a dog on gamedays….but been told of how he loves practicing. Who can handle that guy all practice? Gotta be in consideration when evaluating certain aspects on Driscoll.

This exact coverage play was one of the biggest question marks about Ringo working. He can get a little physical at the line with most WR. This is me fast forwarding his career, making what I’d like to think is an educated guess. Based on his measurables aligned with typical NFL training that consistently results in college players bulking up and hardening up to become men…professionals. He has the long speed to be trusted in High/Over third responsibilities. That is to be highly utilized by Desai in Cover 3 coverages…for example…along with others. His knock was supposedly mostly considered in being weak flipping his hips along with stopping and closing speed. This one play is actually quite significant to see from him.

That clip of Ringo…he gets his hand on him. Can see he’s been coached well up this point already here. Georgia…we all know. It’s not a Jam at the line. But contact enough to try and disrupt any quick timing route. Like a 3rd and 6 or something. So WR making his move right there. It’s good coaching, in my view, seeing it’s not contact at the line Press Coverage. But he’s getting that contact inside that perfectly legal distance. Then WR comeback right towards the first down marker. Ringo stops and breaks on…THE BALL. Absolutely clean coverage.

Re: the Gordon "tackle" A younger guy woulda jumped over him and been GONE,so let's not get real excited vs JV's(or old guys losing their athleticism) yet. He shows promise for a rookie,so we'll see as the season goes. I think he has lots of potential

I think it STINKS. He is supporting communist China and their use of child labor and Nike is a HUGE abuser and I already burned my Nike crap. I'm glad you are happy though,it shows us your character. It hurts my perception of Hurts. Just shows every idiot can be bought. The US has nothing, China RULES and will as long as we accept them as our betters. Pathetic and spineless with no morals. May as well kneel for the anthem while he's at it. same thing-hypocrit

Why did they lose Dennard?

Wasn't this pretty much the idea everyone had after Brown was drafted?
