They are in rebuild,of course they want to get their #1 draft pick going. They aren't going to the SB

Well it’s a bit dangerous move. Because it’s tough to go backwards. You can want to say rebuilding…or whatever. But tough for the whole team to go along and buy in under a a QB that isn’t nearly ready.

Well they got Shew as a fallback. If they though he was the starter they wouldn't have drafted a QB first. They would play Shew and taken a later pick. They needed a total shake-up in Indy and they got one

Can’t imagine they’ve actually seen enough of Richardson to make that call correctly. Feels like the owner just going to force things. Sketchy way to go about such a huge investment in the franchise.

Usually you would expect a bridge QB in that scenario. Especially having a new coach and O scheme.

You let Shew and Stechein install his O for the whole team first.
