Taylor wants a big extension. Don’t see him playing on the cheap on that level team. So we could fit perfect. If he’s gotta play on that 4 mil….he’d rather do it chasing a title.

Maybe thats why they are letting Richardson start. Shew is not a big gunner,he's like Foles,more of a game manager. But as a BU he doesn't risk his health,makes a nice living. RB market has been hit hard. Taylor coming off his terrible season. So I doubt he even tries to sign a big extension with his worst leverage.

Game managing installing the new Steichen way is actually a decent way to go year one.

But I’ve always pointed to Shew’s leadership. He’s just not the guy there.

Think you add in the extreme fit, need and knowledge ….not much better idea than Taylor. Siri knows all about him.

Like I said, very unlikely Taylor is wanting to extend long term. So Colts can’t ask for too much. Bad RB market. One year rental trade.

Taylor would be a huge boost to the O. Not even in question. Would make an educated  assumption on Taylor being the style RB that Siri prefers.

Seems obvious a trade is needed for a LB as well.

LB Cunningham has made a couple plays in the joint practices. Tipped two balls and a few other plays. Encouraging at least. Think I like his possibilities more than I do Jack.

But the plan to be going with Dean…..after they didn’t even get him enough playing time to really judge last year. With plenty of weeks having solid leads. Puzzling there. Only think of maybe injury related. He possibly was healing up from some things. So they protected him long term….by sparing him rookie season. Also let him bulk up a year of pro body building.

Then just brought in Murrow. Think many buy in too heavily into these Rosie theories sometimes. Grossly negligent addressing the off ball LB group this season. Murrow was a cheap stab at a very long shot. Not even sure he makes the team. That bad a possible whiff.
