They built their team right otherwise. They cleared their cap first. So they could have this contending window so freaking long. They aren’t forced to run off good players over them needing paydays. They have been doing this for years. Then add the biggest FA in Hargrave to their NFC Championship team.

Lol... the wedding was great except the bride was completely the wrong person for him.

You don't see how dumb this sounds?

Yea...for a while now...you have been obsessed about an organization that defines mediocrity.

So it’s beyond you to possibly imagine a building new team contending…that improves instead of declines?

I haven’t been obsessed with anybody but the Eagles. But see a totally obvious different path that could be utilized. So it’s frustrating. Used Niners…then kind of noticed some of how the Bengals were setup. Niners have completely crapped the bed on their franchise QB decisions. Plus they’ve dealt with really heavy bad injury luck. More than any other franchise.

But I’ve started using the Niners as an example so many years ago. If cap management and quality coaching. All backed by an owner and GM that don’t get in the way …so much. Don’t have the ego to feed to be so in front of the cameras.

Instead of Jimmy G if the Niners made any…just decent decision at QB they’d have several Lombardis. Don’t even think anybody would argue against these thoughts.

Jimmy G was such a liability. He just always seemed to give away the game by a bone headed stupid mistake. So consistently. Niners have been so good and dominant in fact….that they practically expected to overcome weak QB play. Which they were forced to do. They could for mistakes and big open misses that Jimmy G flopped away early enough in the game. But he several times killed them late second half. Sunk them.

Almost every other big winning team…has a hot QB. They rely on that QB to get it done that last drive to win. Remarkable that the Niners were so dominant in every other area of their franchise to do what they’ve done in spite of their QB.

What other team over this whole period of time they’ve been doing that has accomplished anything of note without a QB?

Brady was in most every SB forever it seems

9ers were so desperate for an offense they had to go get Caff to take the pressure off everyone else. Change my mind

Rams were the closest example similar. Once they made a move to an old vet decent QB they bring home the parade.

Who is the "decent decision at QB". Who should they have gotten/what should they have done?

Who said we declined vs last year? I never said it,Joe never said it,only YOU

IDK how you make the SB,nearly winning it,losing 7,8 great players/staff,then turn around and be in contention for another run the following year and call that in decline. I have zero clue if we declined because no games have been played in 2023

What's the time frame 20 years?

Why is it frustrating when the Eagles path has been more successful?

If anything you see KC have more success... they have the best player in the league.  The QB.   They use RB by committee.  They invest in the lines.

Prior to that look at what New England did.

Sure there are plenty of different paths.. but the smart mindset is to look at what wins the most...not because it's the one flashy way that almost wins or wins once in a couple decades.

You ask yourself... it you were a SF, Dallas or Cincy fan if you would swap with the Eagles?   Would you do things like the Eagles or how those teams did?

Would you swap results?

You should want to swap in a heartbeat.

And don't have the success the Eagles do .

But they got the best napkins for the wedding.

Which team that they played during their win streak was any good last year?

They had one year,it happens.  The history of recent success isn't really there.... 2 seasons out of the last 7

SF didn't have the success the Eagles did.   Obviously when you are at the top, only thing you can do is decline.   SF never got there.

Howie is dumb...  he needs to offer 6th and 7th round picks for Queen and Taylor.   It's so obvious these players are available.   Lol.

Then we trade down and take the player we knew was going to be there.

Been twenty better options for all these years.

Basically almost anything else than they have
