Yeah we really added. Added CJG to the Lions. Added Hargrave to the Niners. Edwards to the Bears. Sanders to the Panthers.

And that's what Dallas has done for years...  but they manage the cap well?

You just don't comment on the good right?

When was the last time you gave Howie credit...without it being a passive aggressive backhanded compliment

Very simple...which GM would you prefer to have?

I stated how massive a find it would be if Blankenship and Ellis took over in the middle. Liked him swinging the trade for Swift. That was crucial. Really liked his draft. Thought he did pretty well with most FA. Worked out fairly well…all and all. Didn’t have enough loot to improve the roster….but kept the bleeding down maybe more than I even expected.

The Eagles spent money on Cox, Graham, Kelce,  Slay,  Lane... and resign Bradberry....   they chose how they wanted to make up their roster with who they wanted to let go and replace while gaining the comp picks.

A team like Dallas when they lose linemen, CBs, and WRs, prior to the contracts running out... that's poor cap management

They tried to make up for it this year with Cooks and Gilmore and drafting DT.

They should have already had those pieces and been able to add last year.  Instead they has to reshuffle and do it a year later.  And they still have to pay Lamb, Dak and Parsons coming up.

Dallas is always chasing their tales cap wise.

I wouldn’t have paid Zeke like they did. Dak kind of got them some. But you can’t make a player sign an extension. Kirk Cousins kind of proved how profitable it can be to play hardball.

??.. so you had to say " didn't have the loot to improve the roster "   with the obvious implications that it's his fault?

So I ask again....which GM had " the loot" and used it to improve their roster?

Btw... we have plenty of loot.

Right..bad contract decisions.  That's poor cap management.

Yet they are neck and neck with us the whole way. Just have lame HC.

Because they drafted better right?

Bears

And they had the money because they were the worst team in football last year.   You follow?

Well we paid Alshon. Malik. DJax. On and on…not every move has been a winner for sure.

Of course I ‘follow’…I said it

Which position do you feel Dallas is better than the Eagles?

Correct...but thar hasn't stopped us from getting free agents....  Dallas has has to have all home grown players

Think a case can be made on many fronts about poor cap management. I believe spending so much future cap on the 2020 season was horrible cap management. Arguably worse than anything Cowboys have done.

So you want the Eagles to be the worst team in football...so they can then have cap space?

Ok... let's argue

Cap space has one function.  By having it, it allows you to make moves. Add players.

So... why have the Eagles  been able to make moves...and Dallas hasn't.... for years now?

You said yourself they draft much better than us. So that just seems to obviously lead to us needing to bring in FA instead of so much extending great draft picks. Where as…you stated they draft so much better. So obviously they are extending draft picks that worked out instead of buying FA. Fairly obvious there I’d say.

But you want the Eagles to bring in all these players to " finish the puzzle"

Dallas hasn't been able to " finish the puzzle " ...because they can't spend to " finish the puzzle"   because of poor cap management.

Not true. Cap space can allow you to retain players. That’s what Cowboys have been doing with their good drafting. They’ll need cap space to retain Parsons and Lamb. Great use of cap space. Should they let those players go? Just so they can say they added FA?  Nope. Ideal scenario is drafting and keeping players like Lamb and Parsons.

They can’t win playoff games they should be winning based on roster strength. So why has such a strong team struggled in the postseason consistent? Hmmmmm…could it be….wait for it….wait…aaaaaaa…oh yeah…..Head Coach. Ding ding we have a winner.

Dallas drafts better

So Eagles need to spend money .

Eagles spend money....and have had way better results.  For decades now since the cap has been in pl

ace.

Jerry Jones doesn't seem like a guy who would be afraid to spend " if he could" to finish the puzzle.

But for 27 years it's only bad coaching

So which team has lost more players ...quality players due to not being able to pay?  Which team has traded them away because they couldn't afford them?

Ding...for 27 years it's just been the head coach?
