IDK how that works, if practice squad players are still tied to the trade deadline???

I don't think you can trade for anyone at this point as we are beyond the trade deadline.

Right? And I'm saying I don't think you can trade for anyone including PS players. So the way to bring him in is if during the window where he's unprotected.

It will be interesting Sunday due to the weather forecasted to be really bad. Both the Eagles and Giants play the run very well of defense. On offense, I think the Giants will use a ton of read option and rely on Jones to get yards with his feet. While the Eagles will have Sanders back, which will help the running game, the Giants have a defense that is helped by bad weather. They are big and physical in the secondary, but they are also vulnerable to deep passes. If the weather takes that aspect out of the game, the Eagles will have to settle for dinking and dunking it down the field, which isn't our strength.

I expect the weather will keep it a close game even though, on paper, it shouldn't be.

The inactives and roster decisions will be interesting this week.

I would expect Seumalo to be added to the roster, and they have another open spot, which will either go to a DT or Jacquet. That decision will tell us a lot about how they feel about Jacquet, as they could just call him up and return him to the PS. But if they like him, they could add him to the roster and keep calling up DTs from the PS.

That gives them 23 defensive players (assuming one gets called up and one gets added to the roster.)

On offense, Sudfeld and three linemen will be inactive. The final inactive will probably be Watkins.

Another option they have is cutting Toth to make room for Seumalo, which seems like a move that will be coming at some point anyway. And then they can add a DT and Jacquet to the roster.

I have stated that Wentz has regressed this year and that I have to think he is not the QB I expected. Having said that, I have a feeling that he will do a great job this weekend. Call it a hunch. With all that talk from Farve and Doug's reaction to it, I feel it will help Wentz focus. I think he will be determined and it will show in his performance. Whether or not this propels him for the remainder of the year will remain to be seen...

Wentz and Doug both seem to be at there best late in the season wouldn’t expect this year to be any different....

bold prediction I say we end the year 9-6-1 hear rot here first lol

Seumalo was practicing, so maybe he is ready? I doubt they would add him otherwise, right? If Malik is back, do we really need to add another DT? I keep hearing how well Jacquet played and was hoping to get a better look at him.....

Funny how we say we are about 50 miles from Philly, but in Texas it is always how many hours it takes to get to this or that city..... Dam big state!

I agree... except for the reason I think he will do better, is because I expect 2 things ..... 1.  his teammates to play better, with both time to heal up and time to practice together... 2. If we have ALL RBs in play, I expect Doug to run the ball and keep at it if it works.

I will say this bout Wentz, I don't think he cares or hears the outside noise.    A reason I say that.... on top of him not knowing what Favre said until the media had to bring it up (don't get me started about today's media) ....  but a month or so back, when the national game was here, and the big news here in town was the 76ers hiring Doc Rivers as their new head coach, one of the guys made a comment to him "  I guess it's great to hear the Doc Rivers news so people have something else to talk about"  ... Wentz's reaction "  who?"

I know its weird, but I for one didn't grow up in North Dakota, it's obvious they are a different kind out there.  I just don't think that everyone is so concerned or focused about outside noise as some of us may think.   I can see where it irritates fans because they want to think they are so important, but I think it's not the case with every athlete.

Huge state ridiculous.... I could have said yea I’m 180 miles from Dallas or 150 from midland but two hours just makes it sound closer lol.

When I first got to TX finally got out of LA I was still 7 hours away from where I needed to be

I am sure he knew what Farve said. If not from the radio he would have heard it at the press briefs. He is not that oblivious, at least I hope not!

Nice breakdown of Fulgham. He played a lot of X against the Cowboys, and just abused their corners. It has been somewhat of a miracle that we just stumbled onto this kid. Once Wentz starts trusting him more, I think he's going to be a true #1 wideout that can simply take over a game.

Possible late round RB.Nothing fancy, but he will get you those tough yards

Huh? That's about all we do lol. This is why I am SMH over the lack of Ertz stats. Reagor may help and getting Sanders back will help. Kill them short, then drop your bomb. We may have the personnel to do it now

Is Sanders playing? According to what I saw he had a full practice

I've heard at least three beat writers (Mosher, Kempski, Gowton) state that Jeffery is not going to be a big part of the offense this year, and that he will be limited to a few snaps.

But as far as I can tell, if he's healthy, he and Fulgham give other teams a problem that they can't solve. Both guys can get down the field and make contested catches, and both guys are big enough to break tackles and turn short passes into long gains. So it looks to me like they could force teams to play two deep safeties, which would open up a ton of room in the middle.

I think Jeffery gives them so much more than Ertz or Jackson. And I really like the idea of Reagor playing the slot, as it opens up the number of things you can do with him.

I guess we will see Sunday. I don't expect him to play a lot of snaps in his first game back, but I am excited to see what happens when we have him, Reagor and Fulgham on the field together.

I like the idea of just not having to have a set slot guy. Ward though I like him isn’t given if anything other then the slot. Trio of Alshon/Fulgham/Reagor we can mix and match anyway we want.

Im fine with Reagor/Fulgham being the top guys getting the most reps but when we go 3 WRs majority of the time I can’t see how it isn’t Alshon/Fulgham/Reagor

I'm kinda with you here. At least early, on  Reagor in the slot. He needs NFL experience badly. Thats' the "safest" place to do it. I think Djax is done for the year. I don't know why I say that, just a gut feeling. At this point Alshon for me is "just another WR." Ward is a keeper as a BU. Fulgham was a more than pleasant surprise. We got lucky, because we can't bring guys along on our own
