He has permission to seek a trade, but the Colts aren't giving him away so seek all you want. Just because they gave him permission to seek doesn't mean they will trade him. The deal would have to be stupid insane for them to do it. So he has permission to seek a trade they will never agree to

I guess we will find out

Sorry this is too narcissistic…guess we’ll find out….I meant….ughh ….it was meant.

Listen... I have no argument nor never did about Taylor... I like him.

I'm simply saying the Colts are not going to rush to trade him for a late 3rd round pick.

Then I simply will say that if the Bears offer...ours will have to be better.  Because perception is we are a better team and the pick will be worse.   And also because they gave us so much for Wentz...  and I think the egg on the face if Taylor wins a SB with the team you traded him to... for a worse 3rd round pick that you gave for Wentz...

Much worse than " geographic reasons"

But I'll discuss this like adults if needed.

I can show respect if one thinks the Bears have a better RB room than us..  and wouldn't pull the trigger.    I can also show respect if a person ignores the history of the Wentz deal and the perception the Eagles are better than the Bears... because geography is more important.

I will disagree though.

Personally,   l like hungry RBs... focused on the game, not their contracts.    I think the game has changed to where the elite RB isn't a difference maker over the solid RB.   You win upfront.  It's a passing league.

See wasn't so difficult was it.

Only so many picks, only so much money,so with limitations where do you spend the capital? Howie chose to hit the lines(like he always has) Paying huge amounts to RB's is not how this team works. sanders was too much money any other  BR's we let go because they wanted too much money?

It's hard to argue here...

Bears have all 3 things...

Need.... draft picks..... cap space.

For Indy it would be trading to the other conference.     They are the team that the links I have read make the frontrunner.

It’s easy to argue against here. Simply because the Bears aren’t a contending team. A one year rental of a RB still doesn’t get them over the hump.

I mean.... you pair Taylor with Fields.... give up a 2nd rounder and pay him $50 mil... seems very doable.   For a team in their situation.

Right... without a hint of arrogance or trying to sound smarter than everyone.  Also specific to the discussion

Too many ‘I’ like and thought statements driving your narcissistic post.

Ok... why do you feel it has to be a rental?

The whole idea that everyone was talking about is that a team would want to sign him long term

I'm talking about every link ... expert... national talk etc.

Like I(narcisstically) said,he has permission to look,so???? But you;re right for 100.00 all you get is a Hotwheel, not thing thing you wanted, because it's going to take alot more huh? If Indy is dumb enough to trade for a 4th I will gladly take him. All you have to do now is convince Isray it's a great trade

See, I'm renting the "I" s... just like apparently Taylor will only be rented.  He isn't good enough in your opinion to be looked at long term at his age and talent level?

Yep he's not going to sign a 1 year rental in an already crowded backfield. He would never get the big money sharing that many carries.....in a contract year

He doesn't have to sign... he is under contract.    My point...dude is a stud. 24 years old... why wouldn't teams want him long term?

Irsay was arrogant about the situation... he is an arse.    Why say you were not going to extend until his contract was up... just dumb.

It's why Taylor wants out of that s×÷t show.   Very understandable.

You go to where a team will at least talk if not make a long term offer.

That's what he wants.  Why risk everything for a guy like Irsay?

That's what he is after. Howie won't pay it,he wouldn't pay Sanders either. Why would he lose Sanders just to replace him with another big money back? Besides that he is injured already. will he play like he did? will he get hurt like Penny every year? I just don't see Howie taking that risk and spending all that money

The RB market has been extensively discussed and recognized as being at a low this offseason. Do you disagree?
Taylor is coming off his worst season….making his own value at its lowest. Do you disagree?

If these two statements are true….then why would Taylor sign an extension this offseason?

Already explained this in detail several times when discussing this

GB..  forget the Eagles here.  I'm trying to make a point... Taylor is a young stud.   Teams will want him..  long term.  Stay on point here.   It's his league value.

I don't believe it's down... Irsay made the arrogant dumb comment...and things changed.

He wants out.  We all know that.   But 31 teams aren't all going to say..." nah we don't want him, just a cheap rental"

You’d think his situation would make him at least want to play for peanuts with a contender
