Immediately better than JK Dobbins

So... read a bunch here about this...

Expert opinion has Bears best chance of getting him.... but Buffalo and Ravens as best fit for this year.

My thought is the Ravens would /should be interested. Their RB's are not all that good and they are in a tough division that has better RB's than they have. Take some pressure off jackson

And so are a lot of experts.  But it's negotiations with the agent that will start any trade talks.  Contract needs to be done first.

Bears got my boy Roschon Johnson. He is already probably the 2 with a shot to be the one later or next year. I dont think the bears need him

But curious of your opinion.    Do you think Taylor negotiating with other teams means he is looking to be a one year rental?

What do you think he is negotiating?

Pats also. he could be a force there. They need to compete with the Jets,Bills and Miami now

he wants a 4-5,he can't get trapped in the rental program at his age IMO

Who?    We are talking Jonathan Taylor here... stud.  Not prospects.

Elliott is on his downside, the rest of their backs are MEH also,so for me pats or Ravens. With taylor, the Ravens can compete for the division title

Their backs are ok IMO.Johnson has a chance to become the 1 if he keeps playing like he has. Fields, like Hurts is also a good RB for them

Right... in my humble experience as a sports fan over the last 50 years... the " permission to talk to other teams" always means about money...contract etc.

For the elite players... which i agree 100% with Ham, that Taylor is elite... when they negotiate, they want long term deals.  Very rarely have I seen them negotiate just to play for another team without talking about an extension.

His cohort is already the starter,no reason Roschon can elevate himself to that role

Pat/Ravens are the best fits for him IMO

You sure he can beat out Foreman???

It's a different bar than Taylor.

It's why I don't think Taylor gets traded for one year rental compensation.

I agree.. the Bears RBs aren't so good that any rookie couldn't start.

That level is a team that should trade for Taylor. Lock down the position.  They have picks and cap space.

I think he already beat out Foreman,he outperformed him this week. next week could seal it for him

Not Pats...they have a few RBs.  Belicheck won't pay. .. they need more.  With the Ravens you could say they need Taylor to finish the puzzle.

That's great.

Not my point.

Yeah that's true,it would put Foreman on the bench

Well Pats signed Elliott and he's not really an upgrade, just another RBBC back,so Tayor would make an immediate impact for them especially with the "iffy" QB play they are getting

Mac Jones is no Brady LOL

So what do you do with Herbert with a rising Roschon? Foreman would have to ride pine and you relegate herbert to the 2?

Taylor in Chicago would mean you got Roschon for no reason,he would be sitting his entire 4 year rookie contract

Of course I would love to see Roschon here as a rook

What about KC?? Taylor there would be great for them(and bad for us)
