Jonathan Taylor....$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

Not 🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆

Why wouldn't you want both????? Why settle for a crap team with no accolades if the money is close???

Who said Taylor lied?   Ok..suggestion for you....similar to Jalen Carter.... take 10 minutes to read up on the situation...what has transpired...who said what...etc.

Doesn't seem like you are familiar.    I realize the 2024 draft is only just over 8 months away, but there is actual current news going on around the league.   You can take some time away from draft research to catch up.

You eliminated Arizona because you said Taylor wouldn't go there.   Why would he decline if they offered him the long term deal?     You are already assuming a contender is going to offer the long term deal.

Idk ... my point is to look at teams that have the picks and the money.   The money is needed for Taylor....the picks are needed to give Indy.

It's not going to be 31 other teams capable of signing him long term.  So to say " the money is close "  we don't know this yet.

I'm sure plenty of " contenders " will offer a 3rd or 4th to rent him.   But permission to talk to other teams, means his agent is going to look for the money first.  The long term situation.  That pays Taylor,  not to finish out his contract this year.

Why is Taylor "injured"? And you and Ham said it was a ruse

AZ has pick 1 and 2 next year I think? Lots of loot yet,but players go there to die in the desert, why would he want to go there?

You seriously need to read up on stuff...really only takes 5 minutes.

he doesn't like the contact nor the owner(cant blame him) so that constitutes an "injury"? Is he injured or not??? And why would you saya player is injured when a healthy one brings you better trades?

If AZ makes the offer... the legit long term one... why would he decline and risk injury playing the last year of his deal for 4mil?

Cap space and the willing to sign him, and give up assets.  Taylor isn't going to have 30 teams knocking down his door with long term offers.  You see my point yet?

Taylor will not play nor practice because he is "injured" yes or no?

Depends how desperate he is to get outta dodge. If I was him I would be looking long term

He said he never had a back injury... the owner said that.  The owner was trying to make excuses to avoid having to explain why Taylor wasn't practicing.

The owner was trying to make it seem like everything was ok....because it's a bad look for the organization and specifically himself.

You follow??

AZ not exactly the bellweather team either, not much better than Indy,so unless they overpay BIG why would he go there to die?

Yes...he is looking long term.... $$$$$$$    that's the whole point of the situation.

So why would the owner LIE when he could get a better trade deal for a healthy player? So,no I guess I dont follow

Ok... while I'm not a fan of Ham's bedside manner... you really need to read up on things or watch NFL network or something.   You seem to miss important facts here.  It's hard to have a conversation when you don't know these things

Dude.... wow you are so far behind!!!!

Quick timeline here

1. Taylor on last year wants new deal

2. Owner says we aren't going to sign or talk about new deal until after the season" if I died today and Jonathan Taylor never plays another game, the NFL will still go on"  then he comments on how RBs shouldn't be paid...etc

3.  Now Taylor wants out

4. Irsay says they aren't going to trade him now or in October, he will play in Indy

5. Taylor not practicing... media looking for TMZ angle

6 so Irsay says he has an injured back to avoid any crap show...etc

7. Taylor says he never had an injury back.

8. He was then excused for " personal reasons "

9.  He is supposed to come to Philly with the team now

10. Now he can talk to other teams

So...the owner never said he wants to trade him....asking price is high.

Giving permission to go see how much other teams are going to pay you

All kinda smells like Irsay wants Taylor to see that he may not get his money yet. Play for me this year.  Unless a team wows me with an offer.

It wasn't " we want to trade him" all along.  You follow.  The injury lies came way prior to " permission to talk to other teams" or " Colts want a 1st round pick"

So there's the part I missed. I got the rest,I am not that far behind LOL

So I missed 1 out of 10,that is still and A-

But now you can see why he wants out of Indy.    Not for their chances of winning... simply because the owner isn't going to pay him now, and probably not in the future with his comments.....which I don't even know myself but are more than what I'm saying.  Media was crucifying Irsay for making those comments.

You need to read up again... missed more than that...plus the timing of everything is important.

In college...took a summer course for 6 weeks.   International Finance that i needed for the major.    Those little blue test booklets... there was a problem that took about 6 pages to complete.

I missed a minus sign towards the beginning of the question ... did the whole thing correctly...but that one missed sign ( it was a -1 instead of a 1... or visa versa)

That changed the answer and I got a zero credit for that question.

Life lesson... might miss only one detail....but that's enough change everything.
